WHO: Zeref, Mavis, Open to Stalkers Concerned Third Parties
WHAT: Zeref and Mavis go on their date following the auction.
WHEN: Backdated to the day before the fog.
WHERE: Geraldi's Pizzeria, Genessia City

Zeref had been a nervous wreck leading up to this. On one hand, Sayla's Macro curse was still affecting him, acting as a first layer of 'control' over his magic, and if anyone was powerful enough to be able to construct a barrier capable of containing his Death Magic, it was Mavis, who was herself at no risk of dying simply because she was already dead. On the other... he could only imagine how the two guilds would react to this. Marde Guille had done little more than voice his displeasure at Sayla's failure to win the auction, but had otherwise remained mostly quiet on the issue. As for Mavis? She spent a ridiculous amount of Fairy Tail's guild funds to win a date with Zeref of all people. He wouldn't want to buy a fly on the wall when Makarov was told he had to write that check in front of the other members.

There was a place in Genessia City that supposedly had good... 'Italian Food,' whatever that is. It was a rather casual atmosphere, exactly the kind of place Zeref would want to go to; not overly romantic, but also not a burger and fries joint, either. He and Mavis were meant to meet one another there. Zeref had already gotten them a table, specifically requesting for it to be in a quiet corner, away from most of the other patrons; thankfully, it was a rather slow day, business-wise, with most of the business being delivery orders. The usual appetizer of breadsticks was already on the table, but Zeref hadn't touched them yet, thinking it would be rude if he began eating without his date.

Before leaving, he had left a note with Tartarus and Suigintou stating where he was. He doubted any of them would follow him; well, okay, Suigintou or Silver might, and he was sure to hear about this from Marde Guille and possibly Sayla, later, as well. He was pushing the limits of how infallible they thought he was, and he knew it. He might have taken full responsibility for Sayla's 'failure,' but he knew Marde Guille was still very, very unhappy about this.

It was getting into the early evening, about an hour before sundown on an autumn day. He could only hope that Mavis and Sayla's (unintentionally) combined efforts would be enough to contain his magic enough for him to at least try to relax, and enjoy this.
