001: Into the Fog [Action, Backdated to the Will O Wisp Event, 14th Oct]
[It amazed her, really, how stubborn the sons of man could be. They fought against what she had perceived to be humanity's wishes, so strong was their will to live and confront the truth that many wished to simply close their eyes and ignore. How selfish they were, to feel they could change the choice that would give her people greater happiness...but she would not go back on her word. They took that path and now, they would have to live with that.
The thoughts swam through the Goddess' mind as she drifted in and out of sleep within the pod, not even realising she was no longer fading away within the TV World. But after a while, it struck her that no, she hadn't disappeared. She was still awake and aware. Izanami cracked open her eyes and sat up, looking around the bay. This was definitely not anywhere she knew, but at least the fog was somewhat comforting. It was not her's, but it clung to and flowed around her, just as her's did.
Cautiously, she collected the items that had been left for her and slipped out the pod. Moving through the shallow water to the bay proper, she stopped to try and gain her bearings, the white burial shroud hanging loosely around her pale body.]
[[ooc: Feel free to run into her anywhere around in and around the bay.]]

[So when she suddenly feels an abrupt pulse of intensely powerful vibes, she stiffens where she stands, looking around. Where's it coming from? She turns her head, gaze focused in the direction of the Bay. Someone new must have shown up, and from the feel of it, someone powerful at that.]
[But the vibes aren't inherently evil, she notes...just strong. She'd better go check it out, she decides. Throwing the tail of her scarf over her shoulder, she jams her hands into the pockets of her peacoat and quickens her steps.]
[It's difficult to see through the fog, but she can make out a vague pale silhouette inside the Bay. So she calls out.]
Who's there?
no subject
She stayed close to the bay, for now, but her red eyes snapped up as she heard a voice calling out. An unfamiliar one. And whoever this individual was...the Goddess could tell she was not a Shadow. As of yet, she would not answer the other woman's question, instead shooting back one of her own.]
...Are you the one who brought me here?
no subject
No, I didn't. There's a group of spirits in charge of that kind of stuff, and I guess they thought you'd be a good fit for this place.
[She leaves it at that, allowing the being to pose another question if it wishes. It sounds kind of female, but she can't really be sure.]
no subject
Spirits with that sort of power? I find that difficult to believe.
[That would mean the spirits here exceeded her in power, something she was not at all comfortable with.]
...For what purpose?
Action
Hello, miss. Aren't you cold? It's starting to get chilly..
Action
Not particularly... Who are you?
[Being dead, she didn't entirely feel the cold. Not that you could tell that from looking at her, anyway.]
Action
Um...I'm Luke Triton. Who are you?
Action
Still, that name sounded Western. Where was this place?]
...Kurosawa, Sen.
Tell me, what is this place?
Action
[He tilts his head, feet still swinging.] I'm not sure how people end up here, but here we are, I guess.
Action | Ask and you shall recieve =P
Action | Hahahaha XDD ilu
She tensed at the comment, shooting him an icy glare.]
Excuse me?
Action | :3
The look on your face suggests you heard me the first time. Don't worry though, it was just an observation.
Action
Call me 'sexy' again, and I will show you every wrath I can call upon.
[The power of death clinging around her might feel similar to the God of Death Spirit knew.]
Action
[Most would probably be unnerved by the sense of death clinging around her, but Spirit feels strangely comforted by it. It is familiar, after all.]
Let's start over then. Welcome to Genessia City. I have no idea how we all end up here, just that we are. And I'm Spirit Albarn, Death Scythe.
Little better off an introduction?
Action
Genessia City? I've never heard of it. So you have no information on what force brought us here, exactly?
"Death Scythe"... Interesting title.
This icon makes me think of Adachi, so I wanted to use it
[He shrugs, frowning.]
You think I'd have cut it out by now. Nobody's ever heard of Death Scythes here but I keep using it anyway. Old habits die hard. Anyway, it's a designation for weapons who have collected 99 corrupted souls from Lord Death's list and one witch soul.
