He tried to warn you (corruption part 2)
[No preface this time. There's a token gesture to let you know that it's John Everyman again, and with an audible sigh, he puts up the media]
[A door jingles, and Satsuki walks in to what looks like a futuristic pawn shop. Upon closer inspection of the merchandise, it looks to be a dealer in heavy weaponry. Satsuki points to a particularly large rocket launcher on the back wall. The alien behind the counter looks ecstatic to be moving such a high-price item, and lets her inspect it by setting it on the counter. She holds it, observing it from multiple angles.]
"Yes, this will do. Here is your payment." [She empties out a large bag of credit cards and other valuables. The shopkeep can't believe his eight eyes. It speaks out in a slurred kind of English; clearly not having gotten comfortable with it yet.]
"Verrah good miss, verrah good! Just one problem; you needa license for that kinda weapon. Lemme see it, please miss." [Satsuki]
"Are all you subhumans so insolent? I am this city's guardian. That ought to be 'license' enough."
"Sorry, Ma'am. Doze are da rules."
"I see."
[In an instant, she manages to load the rocket launcher and fire, blowing up much of the shop to smithereens. She walks away from the burning wreckage, grimacing.]
"The purge of these impudent animals cannot come soon enough..."
[Yuna is meeting with Bison, again. And, like last time, they're in a secluded part of town. Yuna begins, nervously.]
"Do you think the device will really work, Lord Bison?"
"Still you question me. Watch, and observe." [Bison takes a control pad, and presses its most prominent button. Suddenly, you can hear multiple explosions going off in the background. However, the strangest part is when something materializes before them: a golem. A small figure with somewhat recognizable limbs, composed of standard building materials. Wood, brick, etc. ]
[Yuna is clearly impressed, gasping audibly and bringing her hands to her mouth]
"You, you did it...!"
[Bison laughs] "Was there ever any doubt? Who knew the mysticism of this place would help me assemble my construct army. For every act of destruction, Shadaloo's glorious army will receive another soldier, who needs neither food nor sleep. And to top it all off, you will reassure the people that all is well, and that peace will come again. And, when it does not, their despair will be delicious!"
[Yuna looks bashful]"I am sorry for having doubted you, Bison."
[You see inside a humble cottage, where a startled family is huddling in a corner, under the harsh gaze and harsher voice of Azula]
"I won't ask again, peasants. Where is the berry thief? It could not have simply vanished. Do you want your armpit of a village to be robbed?"
"We-we don't know! Honest! One night he was here, the next he was gone. Please, we don't know where he is.."
[Azula pauses, contemplating]
"Very well. If you words are true and your actions are innocent, you have nothing to fear."
[she leaves, then turns around and sets fire to the roof from her hands. The family shrieks, but manages to escape.]
"At first, I thought a rustic peasant village like this would bore me. But it's so utterly flammable; I think I'll enjoy it."
[The setting, judging by the broken pews and other religious objects, appears to be a church that's been utterly reduced to rubble. Standing at the podium is Tepet, with Mnemon beside her.]
"It would seem that you mortals like to gather and pay deference to a higher being. Amusing, but misguided. We are the only gods you should worship. Now, BOW TO US."
[The laity, quivering with fear, obey] "Excellent. At least you mortals know to whom you owe everything." Mnemon speaks up.
"Ejava, was it really necessary to do this in a church we just finished utterly demolishing? We're worthy of something nicer, despite these mortals' infantile grasp of beauty and architecture."
"Do you think so? I believe making our point on the ruins of their foolish faith is a rather more poignant statement." [Ejava addresses the crowd] "That will be all for this Sunday, you puny parishioners. Do not forget to whom you owe your livelihood."
[Ted & Vyers are huddled in the corner of a minimart. They look battered. Ted begins]
"Vyers, I know our last summoning didn't go as well as we hoped. But are you sure we should really practice here? It's an obvious location, and the elections are only a week away."
"Don't worry your pretty little head, Ted. True, we did sustain our fair share of bruises trying to get The Destroyer back into the pit of hell from whence He came. Still, if we wish to control it, we'll have to start small, and we'll need, at the very least, the fear of these plebians for a spell component. Now, do as I told you. Speak the magic word, and release a fraction of its terrible might upon these unwitting dupes."
"As you say, Dark Adonis. Ahem: 'Hateloathemurder'".
[Feed is scrambled, as a shadowy apparition has apparently caused quite a bit of chaos, utterly destroying the meager offerings of the gas station store.]

OOC: If any characters choose to investigate these sites, or gather information, they'll mostly pan out. A weapons dealer's shop really was destroyed, a cottage really did burn down, etc.
