Himura Kenshin

[A] Please bother the stupid swordsman.
[Kenshin had no interest in the phone device, though he had caught on to the instructions given when he'd found himself in this strange place. Maybe it was a little silly of him, but he didn't trust the device anyway. He had no reason to trust anything given to him by the "people" who had brought him to this place, accidental or not. As it was, Kenshin didn't make much of a ruckus when he arrived, and instead chose to stride into the city, sword at his hip, in the least inconspicuous way possible.

It had been hard, considering the idiotic bumbling he'd done. It was part facade, a habit he'd gotten used to when he was wandering -- a way to keep people at a comfortable arms length and keep himself seeming anything but dangerous. It seemed to have worked.

He'd kept to himself, found a way to stretch the money he'd been given and avoided the more confusing technological aspects of the city. Luckily he hadn't set the place he was staying on fire by not understanding how to plug in a blender.

As it was, Kenshin had found himself in Fayren today, staring up at the building in front of him. Of course, the monk had spouted off his usual warning, and Kenshin -- smart as he was -- had chosen not to enter. It was for the best, really. It did not mean that the building didn't still interest him -- but he allowed himself to peer at it curiously in order to sate that feeling. Later, he would explore Fayren more, since it was at least borderline closer to feeling familiar like Tokyo.

With his hands tucked in his sleeves so it didn't look like he had arms at all, Kenshin stood still, serious, narrowed purple eyes staring up at the cloister quietly.]

Such a strange place. [One he does not trust, considering he still has yet to let down his guard.]

[B] Later, Fayren Streets
[For the most part, Kenshin's focus is on finding somewhere to stay for the night. At least until he hears some rather insistent and loud mewing at his feet.]

Oro? [He looks down, blinking now wide, curious eyes at he gray and white kitten twining around his feet.] A.... where is your mother? [He stops an crouches down to pick up the kitten once he determines that mom cat is nowhere in sight, more or less tucking him inside his shirt so his little head poked out.]

Maaa.... perhaps this one can spare a moment to find a warm place for the both of us until a better caretaker is found for you. [How much more room would a kitten take up?]

Koishi Komeiji
Sunday was usually a lazy day for Koishi. She had less energy, was generally less excitable, and, seeing as she liked to return home on the weekends, rarely showed up in Satsuki's apartment before 9 am. If at all, presumably preferring to sleep in and spend some quality time with her sister. Today was an exception to this usual routine.

Rapping on the guardian's window at 7:30 am, no doubt upsetting Gothorita in some way, shape, or form, floated the little green haired youkai, dressed in full uniform. She stopped knocking after a moment, trying to tug the window open, managing to pull it open a crack. She didn't even wait until she was all the way inside, chattering away as she worked it open.

"Miss White! Hey there!" No doubt she was intruding on Satsuki's peaceful breakfast or time spent sleeping in. "Miss white! I have something to give you!" Oh no... Please don't be another pet. Please...

The dull thunk of her boots on the carpet signaled her entrance as she zipped around the abode, and right up to Satsuki. Instantly her third eye squished itself against the human's cheek. "Miss White! I'm here!" No kidding. "Sis wanted me to give you a letter. She tied a ribbon around my wrist so I wouldn't forget." Sure enough Satsuki could catch a splash of bright red around Koishi's wrist as she reached into her blazer and withdrew a heavy envelope containing an equally heavy piece of parchment paper. It was carefully sealed with beeswax, dyed crimson, and a stamped with an indentation depicting an ornate eye and several foreign symbols.

"She said it was really important so I came over right away so I could give it to you!"
