Inquisitor Aeneth Lavellan
28 March 2015 @ 12:45 am
[Aeneth had stumbled out of the pod, her wide eyes in searing pain when they caught the light peeking out in the darkness of the cave. The pamphlet provided far more questions than answers: why was she here? What did whoever kidnapped her want? How did they get to her?

As her footsteps falter to the mouth of the cave, the next shock to her system hits her-- the noise. There was no place in Thedas, no matter how crowded, that assaulted the senses like the modernity of Genessia City.

When the feed finally turns on, it's because the Inquisitor has managed the time to follow the instructions provided. Even with them, it's hard to see her entire face. Between shaky hands, disorientation, and just not knowing what technology is, the feed is just begging to be a hot mess.

But it's the best she's going to get, so she shouts into the videophone, hoping that someone can hear her over the din.]

Hello? Hello? I need... [Help? Someone to listen? Directions to the address provided by that girl in white?] I need answers, please!

[She pauses before speaking again:]

Ma elvhen-- ir isala halani, tel'dareth na mara san.

[Click. On goes the video and here goes Eighteen talking. She appears to be outside... somewhere. A balcony maybe? There's just enough background behind her to see the sliding doors anyhow.]

I'm looking for someone - or a group, if you like - interested in seeing to these 'bounties' in the newspaper. Preferably on something of a long term basis.

Clive Dove ( Future Luke Triton )
28 March 2015 @ 02:38 pm
Closed to Luke Triton )

[Sometime after his unexpected encounter with Luke, Clive finally decides to give this videophone thing a go. He appears to be sitting on a bench somewhere in Genessia, leaning forward with his face very close to the screen.]

--that, and... oh, is this thing on already? [He lets out a small, sheepish laugh as he leans back and adjusts the camera's position to give everyone a better shot of him.] That was a lot simpler than I thought it would be.

Well, I suppose I should begin with a brief introduction. My name is Clive Dove and I'm from London, England. I've been here for a few hours already and have a general idea of what's going on here, although I still find it all rather hard to believe. But I'm sure I'm not the only one.

[He pauses for a moment. It's still sinking in that he's addressing hundreds of people all at once just by sitting here and talking to this screen. This newfangled technology, man.]

Let's see... Some suggestions on cheap flats to live in and decent starting jobs would be nice, but there's something else that I'd really like to know. For anyone who wouldn't mind satisfying my curiosity, tell me a little about your world, or just the area in which you grew up in. Is this sort of technology as strange and new to you as it is for me? Or perhaps it's old-fashioned compared to your world's standards? I'm curious to see how varied the population here is, and just how far our mysterious captor's reach extends.

❤ everyone's favorite idol, Nico~nii ★
28 March 2015 @ 04:39 pm
[Is this one annoyed looking girl in the network today? Yes, good day to you too new world! Looks like this new arrival is still at the Bay, looking through all the advertisements while she's trying to think what to say here...]

So no one here has even heard of a school idol project called Love Live or our band, u's? [muse, but u's is how they write it.] That's just great, I'll just start all over again from the beginning again.

[Huff. Just when they were on the top of the competition and about to win it, she's here and back to zero again. Thank you, universe, but your idol number one is not the type to give up!]

Am I supposed to get a second job or something before I become number one idol here? Not like I'll have time for other jobs, I need to work hard for my idol career... [Well, she'd make time for it if she really has to!] Does anyone here even know what idol means? Well, considering I'm from Japan, I guess it can mean different things in different worlds.

[Or maybe it means nothing in some worlds, but that's just sad and she's not going to think about it right now. Another huff.]

Ah, I guess I could introcude myself while I'm talking here. [Not because it's polite or anything, she doesn't do polite well.] My name is Nico Yazawa and you all better remember it, you will be hearing it so much that you'll never forget me! I'm universe's favorite idol after all.

[Yes, she's serious about that. You better not laugh at her pride even if that wouldn't be the first time she gets that reaction. Okay, yes but enough of awkward situations where she's not sure what to say, she'll just shut it after that and stays in that same place, looking for her options for new apartment. How dare those mansions be so expensive?!!]

名瀬 泉 ▷ Izumi Nase
28 March 2015 @ 05:30 pm
WHO: Izumi Nase and [OPEN!]
WHEN: 3.27
WHERE: The Everglade
WHAT: Izumi takes the Who You Gonna Call? Bounty.
WARNINGS: PG13. Will update if anything changes.
Izumi has yet to find a job that would make great use of her Spirit World Warrior skills, and one that actually interests her. But a certain bounty from the newspaper caught her curiosity, as it feel much closer to the kind of things she hunts back home. Even if this turns out to just be a walk in the park, the thrill of the chase is enough to relieve Izumi of her extra free-time. Getting the green light from the other ghosts of the Everglade, Izumi gets to work in hunting these culprits down.

The Warrior could be found in two different places at different times:

At the Rabbit's Foot shop to ask for a good way for these ghosts to come to her. Because while this case feels similar to youmu hunts, these ghosts aren't the same as youmu for her to detect as accurately. While the shopkeeper was away at the back, Izumi browsed the store's strange products. The row of crystal accessories on a secluded corner drew her in. Some were kind of pretty, she admits to herself, and wouldn't mind buying them if she could afford to. However, when Izumi touched one of the gems, it burned the skin on her fingertips. She gasped and dropped the dense crystal on the floor and looked at her hand that was healing... Whatever crystal that one was for, it must have sensed the youmu in her. Anyone with keen spiritual senses close to the shop would have felt that reaction from the stone.

Later, Izumi was investigating the most spiritually concentrated neighborhoods of the city, patrolling the streets of Everglade and on high alert for any inhuman movement. She has her naginata out and ready to point it at anyone and anything that comes nearby. Izumi is heading to where the Halloween party reportedly took place 10 years ago, and where the "ghostbusters" have died.
