[Action]

[The person coming out of the Bay this time is a teenaged boy wearing a green cloak with an emblem of crossed wings on the back and a strange, boxy device. Probably more concerning to most onlookers are the twin swords he has drawn. At first he's wary, and seems more angry than afraid. Well, until he gets a good look around anyway. At that point he just looks really, really confused.]

[The hologram activates and he whirls around to ask questions and defend himself if needed. At least he doesn't default to trying to slice through the "person" suddenly standing behind him. That's a good sign, right?] Who are you! Why have you brought me here! What's- [He stops shouting mid-sentence as he realizes there's something very off about the woman. He spends a moment trying to get a reaction from her, and when that doesn't work he tries poking at her shoulder with one of his swords. At finding his blade simply goes through the person like air he looks even more confused than he did when he first saw the city. After that he at least listens to her, but at the mention of being kidnapped and trapped here he's back to being angry.] Oh, come on!

[He'll stay around a few moments after the hologram disappears, giving people the opportunity to approach him. Once he's left alone he'll take one of the maps and then use his gear to quickly get to the top of one of the nearby buildings so he can focus on trying to figure out the weird "videophone" thing he woke up with.]

[When the video feed first switches on the camera's not showing much of anything. Just some random rooftop. It swings dizzily for a few seconds, but never catches a look at the person responsible for the broadcast. It does, however, pick up the sound of Eren cursing at the device under his breath as he tries to figure out how it works. Then it cuts out.]

[A few moments later it switches back on, this time with the camera pointing at the new arrival - upside down at first, but after a second Eren turns it the right way. By this point, he's looking pretty frustrated.]

Hello? Can anyone really hear me over this thing?

Weapons experts.

Kind of without a weapon right now and not even sure if I should get it out of the stupid rock.

[His poor family heirloom. Even if it's probably safer in there than in his hands.]

I'm looking to build my own. It's a tradition where I'm from. I'm also wondering what made you choose yours? If it works for you, there must be a reason.

[Maybe not one of the more hopeful reasons he would have believed in the past. He's done with that. But one that makes sense.]

Stay on topic.

[Private text to Weiss, not anonymous.]

My answer is yes.

[The video feed starts up to show a blurry green tube of a finger with more shades of green to either side. Peridot's voice is muffled by her clumsy grip on the videophone but she is clearly yelling.]

Stupid, stupid communicator... thing! Rargh! Why can't I be somewhere that makes sense?! Ugh, fine! Here-

[The video feed turns even more green and zooms a few feet away from scowling Gem, held up by a beam coming out of her stumpy 'palm.' Somehow she already looks worse for wear, missing one foot of her limb enhancers, a smudge of dirt on her visor, and triangular hair a mess.]

Grrr, okay! This thing works right? Not well enough to contact Yellow Diamond- [grumble] -but someone can hear me right?! Ugh, I hate this cruddy old tech. I need to find a way to contact Homeworld! I am not getting stuck on another backwater planet! This one better not be about to explode.

There has to be another Gem here, a warp pad, something! If you Crystal Clods are here you better leave me alone! I'll- I'll blast you to dust if you don't! Urgggh, that would be my luck. I bet those- those idiotic clods are behind this. First they stranded me on Earth and now I'm stranded here! None of this makes sense, what's currency? What's a child?!

Rargh!

[Peridot's agitated flailing breaks the beam holding the videophone and it lands on the grass, face down. The screen is dark for several seconds while Peridot can be heard ranting above. When she picks the phone back up, she's realized how to hold it without obscuring the camera and looks more sullen than enraged.]

Ahem. I am Peridot and I demand someone tell me how to get off this horrible- er, uh, whatever! This planet, I want to get out of here!

[Action] -- chose a location

Peridot can be found limping around, alternating between yelling at harmless objects, hiding from things like rain and loud noises, and pouting. Often she has a floating green screen up to rant at. It appears she is having a very drawn out and very mobile temper tantrum. Her attempts to find a way off Genessia or figure out things like street signs and organic life are not going well.

Beware flailing metal limbs and hurled objects when she's ranting and stomping about.

[ The broadcast comes with the sunset, and in fact the camera is angled so that it only catches Priss' partially-gloved fingers on the guitar strings, and a shred of her leather-covered stomach inhaling sharply at all the key moments once she's singing, barely visible around the guitar's body. The rest of the camera's zoomed focus is on the sky behind her as sunset begins to roll in, which takes up fully half the frame. Priss may not have a band here, but she's a god damned professional, and she knows how to set up a shot. And how to project into a mic that's several feet away; wherever she is, she's set up the acoustics damn well. ]

[ There's only a few seconds pause before she begins to move her still slightly-damaged fingers on the strings, left hand at the neck and right picking the first notes before the first strum. If said fingers are stiff at all, it doesn't show. An inhale... and her voice joins in over the guitar as more notes are pulled from it. ]

[ It's a slow song. ]

[When the dark haired girl in a school uniform appears on the video feed, she looks fairly calm. Kurumi has taken the time to check out the brochure rack and read up on what she could. That doesn't change the fact that this completely messes with her plans. She smiles at the camera, though. Getting frustrated wouldn't help. At least for now.]

Oh, there we go. Hello.

[She offers a brief wave before continuing.]

As a newcomer to this city, I suppose I should introduce myself. My name is Kurumi Tokisaki, from Raizen High School. I've read the handy brochures, but I think hearing some personal opinions of this place would be more informative.

[She pauses, tapping her chin as if she'd forgotten something. Oh! There was something else she wanted to ask.]

As it looks like I might be here a while, does anyone have suggestions for a job? I doubt what I've been given will last very long.

[ Standing near the entrance to the Bay was a man of average height sporting a rather striking three piece suit and tinted sunglasses. His posture was composed and the persona he projected quite obviously calculated. Upon closer inspection it might be apparent through small points of behavior or in the way he forced his smile that he was much more tired than he cared for anyone to know.

Regardlesss, there had been very few times in Tony Stark's life where he didn't feel the need to engage in theatrics. It was what he had been taught, and it was his way to hide. A safe place to reside in a situation that, had he not already become intimately familiar with things beyond the knowledge of most, would likely have broken him even further than he already was.

Really, it was about needing to stay in control.

The way he looked into the camera was like he had done it a hundred or even a thousand times. He didn't seem to be phased by public speaking at the very least. ]

Greetings, citizens of... Genessia? It was Genessia, right?

[ He put a finger up and pulled out the map he'd arrived with. It went back out of view into his chest pocket after a few moments of being studied. ]

Yep. Just confirmed it in case anyone didn't know. By the way? Shout out to the kind folks who left me the goodie box. Way generous. Wouldn't have expected it. Can only assume the party was great and I was at least 5% sober when I agreed to trans-dimensional travel.

[ He gave a charming grin. ]

Now, I'm not one to be a rude guest -- but curiosity, you know? I can't help but think all of this isn't as simple as the welcoming committee -- again, God bless their souls -- made it out to be. Therefore I come to you, the humble public. Simply put, I'm looking for information. What goes on around here, where you're from, any sort of important details that could have, I don't know, slipped between the cracks? I'm interested. Hit me up.

[ He gave a lazy peace sign and proceeded to pick up the device he'd been using to record on, but just before turning it off he paused and held it up selfie style. ]

Almost forgot. Name's Tony Stark. Expect to hear it a lot.

action, various locations around genessia city & nova city | ota
[ After his successful performance, Tony decided the best course of action was to see everything that he could see. He could be found at various odd locations throughout Genessia City during the day, and Nova City later into the evening. Running into him anywhere and everywhere was very much possible. ]

[ Waking up groggy is not out of the norm for Kohaku. He may be under a lot of tension by day, but he's never quite been a morning person. No, the exhaustion isn't what is out of order this time. It is the unusual amount of clarity, the complete absence of pain in his head. Kohaku remembers a time in which feeling like this was normal, but after years of constant ever-changing aching, it feels as though there is a hole in his head. Contrary to his lofty expectations, he doesn't feel safe in the slightest. His hand automatically reaches for his gun and only as his finger is safely on the trigger, he starts looking around the cave. Unfamiliar. And he's alone. ]

a) action

[ After spending a very disgruntled hour working his way through pamphlets to understand the premise of information that was presented to him (and he isn't sure he believes any of it, but he knows what they want him to believe now), Kohaku has finally made it to the streets of Genessia.

As expected of someone wearing comparatively old-fashioned clothes, he looks quite skeptical of the modern architecture and technology. Though cars don't seem to phase him. The violin-case he carries on his back clearly identifies Kohaku as a musician, but the gun that he still wields in his hand may be of greater interest to passers-by. He's not threatening anybody directly, but he seems ready to shoot if he has to. ]

    The fuck's with this place...

b) video
[ There were only so much information gained by rooming the streets, so come evening, Kohaku is ready to seek knowledge through other ways. He's found himself sitting in the park, chewing on a piece of bread as he figures out how to access the 'network' from this foreign device he's been given. When the video switches on he hurriedly swallows his bite to start talking. ]

I've got questions and if I'm wrapping my head around this right, this is the way to get answers. I'll make this quick.

Guignols. Galatea Syndrome. Ring a bell to anyone? I'm gonna assume not, judging by how cozy and fancy you've got it here.

If the answer is 'yes' anyway or you've seen any of the fuckers from the royal orchestra around, you better hurry and contact me about this quickly.

[ He pauses, seeming contemplative. The last bit is added with a bit less severity in his voice. ]

Also the semi-transparent missy mentioned something about elected leaders. How's that going for you?

[ His time as an anti-aristocracy terrorist is long past by now, but that doesn't mean he isn't curious. ]

Who: A stubborn asshole and a benevolent soul. (Kohaku & Yui Kusanagi)
When: Thunderstormy early evening of March 31st.
Where: Genessia Shrine
What: Kohaku was too stubborn to get with the system and just find a place to live, so now he's stuck out in the rain. Yui's a saviour.
Warnings: Kohaku's swearing, otherwise none.

it's raining, it certainly is )

[Is this one annoyed looking girl in the network today? Yes, good day to you too new world! Looks like this new arrival is still at the Bay, looking through all the advertisements while she's trying to think what to say here...]

So no one here has even heard of a school idol project called Love Live or our band, u's? [muse, but u's is how they write it.] That's just great, I'll just start all over again from the beginning again.

[Huff. Just when they were on the top of the competition and about to win it, she's here and back to zero again. Thank you, universe, but your idol number one is not the type to give up!]

Am I supposed to get a second job or something before I become number one idol here? Not like I'll have time for other jobs, I need to work hard for my idol career... [Well, she'd make time for it if she really has to!] Does anyone here even know what idol means? Well, considering I'm from Japan, I guess it can mean different things in different worlds.

[Or maybe it means nothing in some worlds, but that's just sad and she's not going to think about it right now. Another huff.]

Ah, I guess I could introcude myself while I'm talking here. [Not because it's polite or anything, she doesn't do polite well.] My name is Nico Yazawa and you all better remember it, you will be hearing it so much that you'll never forget me! I'm universe's favorite idol after all.

[Yes, she's serious about that. You better not laugh at her pride even if that wouldn't be the first time she gets that reaction. Okay, yes but enough of awkward situations where she's not sure what to say, she'll just shut it after that and stays in that same place, looking for her options for new apartment. How dare those mansions be so expensive?!!]

[At first, Roman didn't think much of Weiss' public declaration of war. Zuko was a force to be reckoned with but he could handle Weiss. Thing is, her little business was getting a lot of recruits. If she just stuck to her corner of town he could happily forget that she existed, but at this rate Schnee Corp will reach the status it had in Remnant. The last thing he needs is that prissy little tyrant making dirty deals with the authorities while she still held a personal grudge against him. Best to nip this in the bud.

The video appears to be taken on a rooftop. He lounges against the railing, a glass of wine in one hand and a smoldering cigar in the other.]

Good afternoon! Roman Torchwick speaking. Forgive the anonymous video, but I'm choosy about giving out my personal number. The boys in law enforcement can't keep their hands off me and I'd hate to encourage them.

[He winks at the camera.]

Anyway, I'd like to talk to you all about the Schnee Company. You could consider this a public service announcement. I'm from the same world as her, so I've got a little preview of what we're in for if we let them set up shop here. See that file attachment there? Go on, take a look!

[He takes a drag on his cigar and blows a couple of smoke rings while he waits. For anyone who opens the file, it's a long word document about the Schnee Dust Corporation. It's truth padded by reasonably believable lies.]

That's some but not all of the accusations leveled at the Schnee Dust Corporation in the past few years. Human rights abuses, shady business deals with organized crime and politicians, drug and weapons trafficking... they even threw in some sex scandals to keep things interesting! If you doubt me, you can always go to the Vale subarchway and ask around. The specifics might be different since it's not quite like our Vale, but you'll get the gist of it.

Now I'm not one to judge, but you all seem pretty happy with your small business economy, unbiased justice system, and honest government. I know we all have to make a living, but when I see all these poor suckers falling all over themselves to be part of the Schnee Personal Army...

[He shrugs.]

Well, don't say I didn't warn you.

[ VIDEO ]

[ When the feed clicks on, there's a purple-haired woman that looks utterly bored. She's sitting in her pod, dressed in a long sleeved shirt with a necklace resting on her chest, a skirt that just barely hits her knees and a killer pair of heels. Her legs are crossed and her head balanced against her knuckles. So, she's been taken to another realm again. This really had to stop since she was tired of being yanked around like some pet.

The sorceress sighed deeply, her eyes closing for a brief moment before she decides to speak. ]

What do you want me to say in to this infernal device? "Help, I've been taken to another place against my will! I'm going to scream and cry about how unfair it is since I was doing important things back home!" But, I suppose that's what they want to try to get under our skin. How tiresome for them to expect such a reaction out of new arrivals...

[ A hand runs its' way through her hair with a sigh escaping her lips. Inside, she's righteously angry over being taken from her realm and put here. But, while her anger is, for the moment, reigned in, she's glad for this opportunity. It meant two things for her. One, she could consume new souls. Two, she's able to wreak havoc here too and she's deeply appreciative of that. At least here, she won't be terribly bored... for the most part. ]

If you must associate a name with me, Celosia will do. I'm really sorry I wasn't able to give you the reaction you were expecting for new arrivals. I truly am.

[ The feed continues for a few more seconds before there's a smirk on her features, a cackle following that. She was given a new chance and she shouldn't squander that... Oh, no. She was going to take this moment by the reins. ]

[ ACTION ]

[ Once Olisha decides to depart from her pod with the items she was given in tow, she's walking aimlessly around to get a sense of her surroundings. It doesn't seem like she's looking for anything in particular. She doesn't want to start alerting the locals that early, nor does she want to raise people's suspicions. That would only be detrimental to her. No, she had to act -- for now -- "normal."

Although, it was, for the moment, incredibly liberating to have this kind of freedom. However, she knew that she wasn't truly free. If she was, she'd be able to take on her usual form without any kind of limitations here. She acclimated to her temporary imprisonment then and there was nothing saying that she couldn't do it all over again. One had to adapt to survive, right?

She stops briefly in the middle of the city, staring whimsically up at the moon for just a bit. One day, she'll be able to return when it's blood red instead a pale white.

The sorceress continues her aimless journey seemingly without much, if any, care in the world. Perhaps this place had some kind of potential -- time would only tell in that regard. ]

[ It's not the first time he's woken up somewhere he thought he shouldn't be, but it is the first time he was just left alone to walk around freely. Weirdly enough, that makes it more disorienting than the other time. His eye doesn't hurt and it should, it hasn't stopped for years... but there's nothing. There is absolutely nothing other than what feels like freedom and then again isn't. It's a farce, a mockery. 'You are free, you are safe' is what this place seems to want to tell him, yet he's trapped. It's dishonest and disgusting.

Also large unfamiliar in terms of get-up and technology, which is just another distractor. Kohaku feels out of place walking the streets and it makes him feel on edge. He keeps walking for hours just to avoid sitting and thinking, but soon enough has to acknowledge that there is nowhere he has to go. Nobody is here with him to boss him around and in a world seemingly without zombies, an anti-zombie musician is out of a job. He's been tossed away from everything he loathed but also everything that gave him purpose. It's that wretched feeling of aimlessness that finally gets him to pick up his videophone and fiddle with the commands until he gets it. It's dark out when he makes his broadcast, just to be doing something other than shoving around people on sidewalks. ]

So this is it then? Settling down in a nice little utopia pretending it's not a prison? This place gives me the creeps.

[ And now he's talking to... some thing. He regrets it instantly, feeling only like he's already adapting. He makes a disgusted 'ugh'-noise and goes to plant his hand over the camera and shut off the video without any real goodbye. Arriving in style? Going great. Yeah no.
Sitting on a wall in Garden Park, violin case by his side, and plays with a knife absentmindedly. He imagined it'd feel better to get away from the orchestra. It doesn't. ]
