Let's all share what we know regarding this Everglade fiasco.
For one, I've been informed by the owner of the Rabbit's Foot that these creatures must be sealed away. The conventional device to do this are magic pots, which ought to do the trick. The proprietors on Mystic Alley have the main supply, but the aforementioned businessman will make what he can.
However, exorcism or another means to banish spirits will also work. The city needs more of that kind if it wants to be rid of these creatures.
Jury's still out on what they want or how to get rid of it permanently, however.
UPDATE: Jury's in! On what they want, anyway. Somehow, Koishi has discovered what they're after: sentiment. Or emotion. Try to display as little of that as possible, should you find yourself in their company.
They also seem to not be terribly interested in those without amulets. I don't know why.
