Athrun Zala
26 October 2015 @ 03:00 pm
[The feed switches on to show Athrun standing in what appears to be some kind of apartment room. He's at home, broadcasting this from his living room.]

Excuse me. A new subarchway has opened in Nova City, and I thought it might be worth calling attention to, since it's from my home world.

The subarchway leads to an island called Onogoro. It's part of the Orb Union, my home nation. It's run jointly by the Orb military and Morgenroete, Inc., a manufacturer. And, as you might expect of such a place, security is, well...tight. Very tight.

Civilians should be able to get basic clearance to visit, as Morgenroete offers public tours of its facilities on a set schedule. However, if you want to see more, you'll have to come to me directly. I'm a member of Orb's military and I have some clout with Morgenroete. I can make no promises, but I'm certain I can at least get them to listen to what you have to say or offer.

That's all.

[He ends the broadcast, then sends two more messages.]

[Private -- to Satsuki and David]

[The message he sends to these two is a simple text message. However, it's accompanied by a photo. The photo shows a giant robot (though the photo shows its surfaces as all being gray rather than of shades of white, red, or purple) in some kind of advanced military hangar. Athrun had made sure to stand in front of it to further accentuate its size. It appears to be close to twenty meters tall.

The photo is accompanied by two words:]

It's here.

Lucy Heartfilia
26 October 2015 @ 05:27 pm
Who: Lucy Heartfilia, Natsu Dragneel, Troy Dantes
When: 10/26/15
What: Bounty Hunting Time!
Where: Fayren

[ Normally when Lucy accepted missions from the paper, she and Natsu would venture out to take cae of it on their own. To her surprise, this time someone else would be joining them. Not Satsuki this time, but someone she didn't know. Their client had insisted on it, for some reason thinking the pair would need more help. So Lucy stood outside the client's home with her partner, as it had been an agreed upon meeting point. Absently she rubbed at her knee, wrinkling her nose. glancing towards Natsu. ]

So how ...big do you think these "giant" spiders are, exactly?

[ Monster spiders were gross, but not scary. She hoped. Little bitty ones on the other hand - there had been many a time when Lucy would shriek and pitch a fit if something tiny and fuzzy went scooting across her hand or leg or something. Just the thought of it made her shudder as she glanced down the road to see if the other had shown up yet. ]

[Well... the dreams docks were... interesting to say the least. He thought he would have helped the other him with whatever reason he was in the puzzle in the first place back home, but now he knows there had been something else first, which was... even more interesting. He never would have known what it was really like to lose ones soul if it weren't for that. Even if it was something he never wanted to know in the first place.

Taking a good few steps out of the place he had the device and switched it on. He seemed a little baffled but he had just woken up.]

I... thought I would go see what the Dream Docks were like and I honestly wasn't expecting certain things to happen... But then again do we really know much about our futures and what to really expect.

[He had been here long enough to know that well nothing is to be expected. He just wanted to know if everything was okay for now. He didn't have much hope for his friend being here.]

Is everything okay in the cities right now? I'm just curious to know what might have happened in one week.

Genessia NPCs

The castle belonging to the Royal family of Fayren isn’t always opened up for people to come and go as they please. But during this time of year..on this very week, the gates to the grounds are opened for all. The family is predictable in that way. Hallow’s Week was something they celebrated with all of Fayren.

The castle was fully decorated with traditional things, spiders, skeletons and the like. But some were enchanted by magic. Made to move or jump when someone was near just to give them a fright! Because what is this holiday meant for but sweets and cheap, harmless scares?

Because of the magical nature of the Castle’s decorations, it probably doesn’t seem too out of place when a mysterious whisping glow rolls through the castle. It’s easy enough to tell yourself that it is just part of what they are doing. Even the guards, knights and other manner of people that helped set it all up didn’t think too much of it, thinking that someone else must have done this to help with the ambiance.

But they couldn’t be more wrong.. Long after that devious magic took hold of the place, some of those creepy crawlys that jumped out at guards weren’t fake at all. Things and fears that they held within them was starting to be given physical shape. And soon this would spread far beyond the castle and come to engulf all of Fayren.

[ooc: A post signaling the start of the Halloween Plot! Which actually started on the 25th, but shhh. You are more than welcome to make your own posts and logs regarding the plot.]

Gale Reinhardt | Orlok
26 October 2015 @ 10:18 pm
[Waking up in a pod wasn't something unfamiliar to Gale. He was generally placed in one when parts of his body needed repairs, and hell, he woke up one day in a tank of clear fluid when he thought he was supposed to be dead. So really, things like this don't come as a surprise anymore. Of course, this was a surprise and a half, and when he was out of the Bay after gathering the intel there, he was quick to make use of the device he was given. When the video comes on, it shows a brown haired man in a purple pilot suit with four red and blue cables hanging out of the back of his neck, while the upper half of his face obscured by a mask reminiscent of a butterfly. Even with half of his face covered, it was easy to tell that he was furious.]

This is your new trick, huh? Putting me to sleep, dropping me off in the middle of some weird ass city and giving me some made up travel brochure all about it?

Well, listen up Cardinal bastards - especially you, feather brain. I don't have time for your little games. I don't care how well this place is constructed or how many people you have playing along with this, and I sure as hell don't care if you kidnapped some prissy little rich girl for that hologram to make this all seem genuine. I'm not falling for it, and if you're smart, you'd better be quick to end this charade.

But I warn you, if I find out that if you caused harm to Lala at any point during this trick of yours... I will find you, and I will kill you. Have I made myself clear, Vermilion Bird?

[Even though he can view every other residents' messages, he's convinced himself that this is all an elaborate hoax, and he is not taking his arrival well in the slightest. He knew full well of what influence the Dulvik Organization had and what they were capable of, so this was something well within their power as far as he knew. While deep down, he had quite a bit of concern for the people that he could see, he was too preoccupied with his own anger to even consider being rational about it.

After his little video message, he can still be found around the center of Genessia City, sticking out quite a bit thanks to that flight suit and the four long cables hanging out of his neck. He was looking at the various trinkets he woke up with, particularly glaring at the videophone, all while scanning the area around him. While he may not appear to be hostile, it doesn't take a genius to tell that he was on the defensive. He wanted answers, and he looked ready to resort to violence if that's what it took to get them.]
