Fai D. Flourite

[When the device is on, the first thing that comes into view is... a good five cats in a cafe. Which cafe was it? It would soon become obvious when the very familiar voice of Fai pops up over the network. He sounded as chipper as ever.]

You know, this had been an idea of mine for a while. I hadn't been sure if it had been a good idea until recently when I came cross a cute stray cat. So as of today, the Cat's Eye Cafe will be Genessia's first cat cafe.

[He turned the feed around back to his face while the cat's in the background going about their business. Cat's seemed happy enough.]

Things I will note, for one the cats can't get into the kitchen, so there is no risk of problems there. I have also provided them with food and water for during opening hours and homes for them at night. [He paused for a moment.]

I will also note the cats that are here are all up for adoption, looking for forever homes. During the night though they will be living with me until they do.

[Fai has more money than sense, but at least this is on the positive.]

Also in other news, I am planning on opening another cafe. However what it will be like and what it will be called is still a mystery as it's still a work in process, but look forward to it.

[After a moment Fai was looking away from the screen as it soon turned off.]

[It's been quite a while since the blonde-haired Hyrulian had made herself known to the other captives of the world. A month had come and gone so effortlessly that the woman can hardly believe what all had transpired since her first arrival into the world of Genessia. When the feed first appears, the former Princess of Hyrule is in the process of taking a seat at the end of a long table. Stacks of books almost look like castle towers at either side of where she sits, framing her in a coincidental manner befitting her background. Softly, her throat clears, a single hand coming to her lips to excuse the gesture.]

I'm unsure of who this might reach, though I suppose it is safe to assume it will reach a great many of you. My name is Zelda. I want to first thank those who selflessly offered assistance and helped me to get my bearings in this strange place. Our encounters may have been brief but they were well received all the same.

I've.. [For a moment she pauses, turning and reaching an arm out to pick up a large, leather-bound book that falls upon the table top at her release.] .. been catching up on some reading. This world has a wealth of knowledge I've never seen before, and even in a month's time I've only scratched the surface of what lies beyond my home. Contraptions and technology, medicine and arts, so much of it foreign but all so alluring I'm not quite able to fathom what else might be out there.

To the few of you that I did have the pleasure of speaking with, I wonder, would I perhaps be able to inquire more of where it is you came from? Call it curiosity or an inquisition, I assure you I mean no harm in asking, but I wish to learn as much as I can to better be of use to the whole of this world. I've.. not a talent for much outside of what I was raised upon, but I do know a minor amount of medicine and potion drafting. Languages, history, I'm not sure what good those sorts of things will be but if I can help in any sort of medical task I would very much like to.

If you're still out there, Doctor McCoy, I'd be very interested in meeting with you once more, personally.

[She stands from the table, continuing to speak as she walks towards the view of the device.]

To all other parties, you'll be able to find me in the central library, I believe it is called. Once I'm able to tear myself away from the table here, I can most likely give you a better location than name alone.

[She gives a soft smile while her face is framed in the camera, lifting her free hand up to wave at the audience.]

Until then. I do hope to hear from many of you soon.

Ahliz'tah Kantún
[The video opens up to a child dressed in something so very not European or anything of the like, very much still in the Bay area, if the magazine stand is anything to go by. She gives the pamphlet and map a shake with a giant scowl.] It's good the holo-lady was there, because I can't read the funny squiggles and stuff, but even if I followed the green line, how would I know what this 'Kusanagi and Haller Home for Children' even looked like? Same if there was a picture in the map? The squiggles aren't even writing!

[She sounds indignant, if not shaky voiced, but there is fear in her eyes.] I - This is not ok! I need to go home! You can't just kidnap me and expect me to be able to read your stupid squiggles. I have Very Important Things to do. And, if you're going to kidnap me - and this is like, the second time today and I don't even know why this time!, why isn't this [here, she thrusts the necklace into view for several seconds. It's stones are a mix of red and green.] blue? If I have to have it, why isn't it blue? The red isn't even proper red, and the green is too weird. It need more blue, because blue is the best colour.

Plus, my clothes itch, but that's not your fault; they just really itch and the headdress is heavy! And the place is weird, the names are weird, and it's stinky like an anyas den! [-the feed cuts off before anyone can see her burst into tears.]

Action to The Bay, for anyone interested.
[Anyone walking past is going to find the kid curled up near the magazine stand, headdress now at her side. To anyone who's able to sense it, be it via magic or other means, her very being is the perfect balance of light and dark, but they'd have to pass at least five feet from her.  Regardless, she's trying very, very hard not cry, though the sniffles kinda give it away. From time to time she'll peer at the map brochures, as if that will magically turn it into something she can read. It doesn't, and no  matter how many times she screws up her face, it's all alien squiggles to her.] Not fair.....

[She knows she should go and find that funnily named house for kids, but... She doesn't want to leave, not until she knows more, though she doubts poking the hologram will give her anything new.

Plus, this is nothing like being in the bowels of the
Atahualpa. She could at least read some of the writing there and find her way around while hiding out of sight.

This, not so much.

[It’s been a couple of weeks since Jacques took his place as mayor of Nova City and he’s finally settled in, fired his poor excuse for an assistant and gotten a new one. The office has been redecorated to resemble his office back home, complete with the portrait of his younger self. He sits tall in a new pressed suit that’s been topped off with a matching set of sky blue and white striped tie and handkerchief, hands clasped together in front of him on the desk.

Citizens of Nova City, it is my privilege to sit here before you as your mayor. Adjusting to life here hasn’t been easy, but I am fully confident that I will be able to run this city more efficiently than ever before with the support of you, its citizens, and the appointed Guardian, which by the looks of it will be my very own daughter. Rest assured, the two of us are capable of separating our personal and professional lives - there will be no corrupt bargains here. [Insert slimy politician smile here.]

Now, I know some of you are a little on edge with my new-found role. Understandable, given my unprofessional introduction to this world, but I assure you that you have nothing to fear. The position of mayor is one of give and take, and I am available to answer any concerns and address any issues that you may have. Why, I listened to you when you suggested this position over one of a Guardian, did I not? It is my duty as mayor to listen to all of you and respond in the manner I best see fit for our great city. Recently, we’ve seen a new transportation system. We now have living quarters up in the sky. I will do all that is within my power to ensure that Nova City’s Age of Prosperity continues to thrive.

So thank you, kind citizens, for electing me as your new mayor. Together we can make our city a place that we are proud to call our home.

Demencia
[Oh hey it's that weirdo multi-coloured haired chick from like, earlier in the month. The one who tried to eat her phone.

Wow she looks kinda, no really, upset. Like grossly so. There may be snot involved.]

Heeeeeeeeeeeeeee's goooooooooooooone, it's not faaaaaaaair!

[Demencia sulks at the phone, before the gross sobbing begins anew. With some mournful wails added in as well.]
