[The video feed shows Mirajane Strauss practically buried in blankets, tissues overflowing in the wastebasket beside her, and a half-eaten bit of toast next to her.]

[She honks rather loudly into her next tissue clearing her sinuses a little and clearing her throat with a raspy cough.]

Sorry about that. As I said I'll have to take a few sick days from bar-tending for a little while, but I should return before Valentine's day. I'm terribly sorry I've been gone for so long, but I have not been doing well at all. Have I missed much in my time apart from all of you? I seem to remember being frozen into a block of Ice and that seems to be the cause of my current malady.

I'd like to thank everyone who has been looking after me these past few weeks, and I hope you're all having a better day than I am.

I'm so sorry I've been so absent lately, I hope you're not disappointed in me.

(ooc: Hi everyone, I'm back from my hiatus and I'd like to make an apology for my crummy health. The entire month of January was pretty bad for me, and I didn't get a single day of RPing in. I hope to come back more with my other characters to, but I figured I should start with my muse who's most active in the community.)

[This time Lydia is absolutely just sitting on what seems to be a balcony in an otherwise brightly lit almost club-like setting if it weren't for the fact it's just silent. She's grinning a little, nails lightly tapping on the armrest of her throne-like chair of silver.]

So I gotta ask, would anyone actually vote for that idiot going on about running for mayor of Everglade? Because, I have to be honest here, he seems no better than the current set-up we already have and I'm not overly interested in anything he has to say.

Call me old fashioned, I suppose, but usually to become an official in some way, shape or form, you'd have to have done something to earn it. If he's done something to earn it, by all means let me know, but from where I'm standing he just seems like another loud blowhard.

[A brief pause and her just fixing some loose hair from her ponytail.]

Not sure if I'm going to be going to that Valentine's Day thing or not.
