[Stirring slightly at the gently rocking, Lucina woke up to find herself definitely not where she had gone to bed last night. Looking around before sitting up carefully, she saw that her bed of choice definitely followed her as she picked some straw off of her tunic. Looking at her belongings through the slotted mask she went to sleep in, the woman verified she still had Falchion on her as well as a few new items to take note of.

Finding the hologram that explained everything as well as a pamphlet, she knew what first steps to take to get acquainted to this world. Pulling up her hood she started on her way to the city to find her room and take in everything she was experiencing. Feel free to stop her along the way!]

Good afternoon, everyone. Pardon my intrusion upon your video feed. I've been working on the archive lately and had a curious thought.

I would like to make a list of all of the worlds we come from. Hear me out? I hope to categorize them based on our pendent colours, and perhaps learn what we have in common as opposed to what we don't. For example, I've met a number of vampires and we all function very differently. I imagine it's the same for all of the magic practiced here, or even what laws we are used to abiding to back home. 

I like to think learning about our differences may help us to unite as we move forward... If that's a naive thought, then I apologize.

If anyone has the time to tell me about their homes and assist with the archive, I'd be most grateful. I'll have snacks and tea set out at our Genessia location for anyone willing to spare a few minutes for an interview... Phone interviews are fine as well.

[Sabo awakens with a jolt, momentarily concerned about the bed he's in. Is it some sort of coffin? He couldn't be dead, no no no no, this has to be some kind of nightmare!

He darts out of the pod-like bed and glances around. He's in a cave, which makes this situation even stranger, but his pipe, hat, jacket, and goggles are neatly sitting on the ground close to where the bed is. He takes the needed minute to throw his jacket and hat/goggles on, and grabs his pipe, effortlessly placing it on his back.

He continues to glance around for a minute, and then realizes that he had left a few items on the foot of the bed, which he must have tossed around a bit when he jolted awake. He picks them up, reads any text he can find, and then fiddles with the smartphone for a couple of minutes until he figures out how to turn it on.

[His face is uncomfortably close to the screen, since he still has no idea what the heck this smartphone thing is, and he's really curious about it.]

Hello? Hello?! Is this kind of like a Transponder Snail or something? Huh, I guess it is. Well, that's useful. Koala, where are you? Did you wake up in one of these really weird coffin beds? [He puts a hand to his chin and thinks for a second, with an audible 'hm'.]

I kind of think you're probably not around, otherwise I would have been yelled at already for sleeping in.

I wonder if anyone I know is here. [He decides, after another moment of thought, to introduce himself, just in case he doesn't know anyone around.]

Well -- uh -- for anyone who doesn't know me, my name is Sabo! I'd appreciate some more information about this Genessia place if anyone would like to talk!

[As hard as she's been working to get a foothold into the modelling scene around Genessia, Ann's come to the conclusion that she needs to find a second job. She can't help but feel guilty that Ren is working so hard to cover the rent and beyond that, she's finding she wants more disposable income than she currently has.

She hadn't been sure what she might be suited for. But then she'd happened across a notice that an arcade in Nova City was looking for matchmakers and, well, that could be fun, right?

That's the attitude she walks in with, at least, determined to make a good first impression on her new boss and to help others with their love lives even as she's not sure quite how qualified she really is to advise. She's friendly, eager and determined to do her best and she even finds some good customers.

Then there's the ones who aren't so good. The ones who seem to have mistaken matchmaker for something else, something far less wholesome and wholly inappropriate for an arcade. And that's where people might hear Ann raise her voice, stern and relenting only at genuine apologies. By the end of the day, she's exhausted but oddly fulfilled.

Which isn't to say she's above a little PSA in the aftermath.]

[Based on the view behind Ann and the ambient sounds of cutlery and drinks being made, she's filming this from a cafe. Because she thinks she deserves cake after the day she's had, but she wants to get this out before she forgets.]

All right. I figured most of you would know this anyway but after today I think people might need a reminder. The Aphrodite's Love Matching & Arcade matchmaking service is not about you coming in and paying for sex. I'm sure there are places around the cities where you can do that sort of thing but our service is for people who are genuinely looking for a relationship and I for one will not expose our customers to people who are so obviously only after one thing.

And no, the matchmakers aren't there for you to have sex with either. Trying it anyway won't make us believe that you're genuinely interested in what we do. We can help you deal with potential relationships better but we will not help you to trick someone into thinking they're getting something they're not.

[She sighs, then, pausing to take a bite of cake and swallowing before she speaks.]

But you know, all that aside? Matchmaking can be pretty fun. And I wanna hear about the good stories, the ones where it worked out. So I guess, if you've ever helped to set up a couple or you've been helped like that, and you don't mind sharing, I'd love to hear all about it.
