III - Halloween Hunger
Who: Charlotte, Lucifer, Leviathan and everyone
What: Halloween Hunger
When: November 8, 2014 (06:00 to 23:59)
Where: All 5 cities
Warnings: Overeating, blood, excessive biting, excessive sexual desires, obsession, violence, possible death?
Once Lucifer's network post has ended, Genessia is left silent. As he appears from one city to another, people may find their vision hampered. People may think that the entire city has darkened momentarily. But it isn't the city. In reality, it is just their eyes. And for those people who weren't affected, they'd see a black cloud covering the eyelids of those affected, before the cloud enters through their eyes.
After a few seconds, everything becomes normal again. Everyone resumes what they are doing. Nothing explodes. No one dies. Everything is safe. But is anything really safe with Lucifer in this dimension?
For those who are observant enough, they would notice that the affected individuals are incredibly hungry. They hunger for food, for water, for blood, for attention, for sexual intimacy... they hunger for those things which society dictates them to control. Their hunger knows no boundaries. People can't get enough of the good stuff. They will continue to consume even if everything in their body tells them its wrong to go any further. Nothing will stop them. They want to stop. They know they should stop. But they don't. Because for those affected, nothing is more important than feeding their hunger.
The change is gradual, but as the hours pass, their hungers increase. All control is gone. Nothing is forbidden.

[For Charlotte]
[Charlotte]
"WHERE IS IT?" Despite having a completely different form her voice had changed very little, the same multicolored runes drifting from her mouth, though they were far more jagged this time. "WHERE HAVE YOU HIDDEN MY CHEESE HUMANS?"
She didn't really wait for a reply, screeching as she barreled down the street, mouth gaping open, head whipping to either side, snapping down to shear apart and devour any passerby misfortunate enough to not get out of her way in time. Behind her trailed her broken realm of sweets, covering the streets and buildings in cake and cookies, giant silverware rolling down the street, smashing into buildings and breaking glass.
To make matters worse, Charlotte's minion creatures, knee high plush mice and spindly nurse creatures, were swarming into the broken buildings, whipped into a frenzy, searching homes for cheese. They weren't the strongest creatures, but the bone saws and scalpel the nurses carried could easily rend someone apart.
/crashes into here
He was unable to find Charlotte's little lair and the spindle-nurses and plush mice were not taking him there. She wasn't in the designated meeting place they had chosen a short while ago. And she certainly wasn't answering the phone when he tried to call. Spirit was running out of ideas as to where to locate the little girl when he recognized the screeching voice outside the window--not that he'd need to, since very few ran around screaming about where the cheese was hidden.
So here is Spirit, barreling out the door and looking around for the source of the voice. "Hey! Hey! Didn't we agree that you wouldn't go trying to eat people if I found you cheese!?"
Yeah that is his best scolding-parent voice. He doesn't see Charlotte just yet, which is probably not so good, seeing as only an idiot would scream at a giant eight-story-tall snake.
I'm the one doing the crashing here!
It was like something out of an old monster movie.
It wasn't long before the whole structure began to crumble, the coils holding it somewhat upright as more and more was devoured, the creature growing ever larger and just more hungry it seemed. Hopefully there weren't any people nearby when it started eating.
"IT'S MINE! MINE! MINEMINEMINEMINE!" Jagged runes drifted from the snake creature, dissolving after a short distance.
ALL THE CRASHING fyi nooo idea how to fight her
Spirit managed to dodge out of the way of the crumbling cheese-building, but just barely. He was already exhausted from the confrontation with Stein and he didn't know that he had the energy to take on this giant snake creature. More importantly, he wasn't sure he had the energy to take it on alone. Stein wasn't helping him, and he had a feeling that neither was Maka.
"H-hey!"
He had to get her attention somehow, right? Somehow it followed that this was Charlotte...and she clearly either didn't recognize him or didn't care to. The stuffed-like tail of the snake was near him, and he did the only thing he could think of to get her attention: one arm transformed into a blade and he stabbed it into her. It wasn't intended to be deep--for the large plush snake it probably felt more like a stubbed toe than anything else, as that's how he intended it--but it was hopefully enough to get her attention.
XD good luck with that.
Meanwhile Charlotte just kept growing, her hunger unending as the cheese finally gave out, sending her sprawling to the ground, writhing, trying to reorient herself.
The blade cut easily into Charlotte's flesh. Her body was indeed soft like a stufed toy, but it wasn't blood that seeped out. In fact, nothing did. It was like the tail was filled with a spongy blackness. She did react though, her little wing ears perking, gaping maw turning toward him, lashing down and around, surrounding him.
She hesitated though, not lunging right away. "SPIRIT?" A pause. "NO! MINE! GO AWAY!" she twisted, trying to flick him off her tail. If he didn't pull the blade free he would go flying.
Go team idek
but probably not giant snake witches."I'm not going anywhere! You can't just destroy the city! You agreed that you'd call and I'd help you, whatever happened to that plan?"
Spirit won't swing at her again. He still doesn't want to hurt her--giant snake or not, he still has a firm image of a tiny little girl in mind.
Whooo! Do your best!
"NO! THIS IS MINE!" Another huge bite. She seemed determined to cling to her pile of cheese. at least until it had been safely squirreled away.
Some of the nearby minions were heading toward spirit now, and they seemed far less friendly than before, the mice charging at him, the nurse creatures not far behind with raised bone saws and scissors.

"I don't want it but those are buildings!"
He would continue this argument if it weren't for two spindle-nurses rounding on him while a mouse rammed his feet. One of the nurses with a scalpel--because of course it has a scalpel--lunges for his side, and he's only quick enough to avoid a deep wound. Spirit is thankfully strong enough to overpower the three quickly, but that does little to stop their cohort from following behind. He's careful to maintain his footing as best he can, standing firm against another nurses' bone saw that met with steel instead of flesh.
"HEY!" Ok, we've resorted to shouting at snake witches, very mature.
"You pay attention to me!" Again, one blade digs into the little tail. This time it is done with far more force--the weapon's arm sinks deep into the black nothingness. That wasn't an attack to get her attention. That was intended to hurt.

Charlotte screeched as the blade dug into her tail, though it honestly didn't do that much. The snake creature was so massive it would take a lot of damage to even sow it down. All the same he now had her full attention, her lips curled back over her teeth.
With surprising swiftness she unwound from the cheese pile and lunged at him, mouth gaping open. If he didn't do something he would be cut apart by her teeth or even swallowed whole.

He spits out a curse and slices the creature down, snapping back to his feet. When the head of the snake collides with the street, he whirls on her and swings hard for her side. If she doesn't move fast she'll get two long and deep slices from each arm.
"Come on, what happened to when you were small and adorable? Go back to that!"
The scythe is fast, and he flashes into and out of his weapon form quickly to adapt to whatever the snake witch is doing. He's not causing immense damage as he swings at her, but his goal is to slow her down for now. He will address stopping her later.

The only saving grace is that the minions would probably be less dense here once the cheese was gone. They would wander off to find new areas to pillage. For now, though, there were a lot more heading toward spirit. At least it seemed that the blades used by the minions weren't anything special. The metal of his weapon form was more than enough to stop any attack short.
You wanted a decent fight tag, but it was me, Bizzy who stinks at fight scenes ^_^;;;;;;
The cheese-building was starting to crumble, lost to the large snake's stomach, and he was wondering what would happen next. Would she go for the next building down the street? And what of the people in the buildings?
Stopping her was likely the only suitable option. Again, he lunges for her, but this time aiming a bit higher for the snake's body. This attack was done primarily through momentum. Fighting alone was not his strong suit, but by running for her and transforming mid-movement, he could attack using the full blade of his weapon form while having the benefit of momentum.
That's okay xD
If he fell now he would probably hit the ground fairly hard. On top of that the minions were becoming more and more frenzied, clustering around Charlotte, brandishing their weapons. Perhaps falling was the least of his worries... At least they weren't climbing on Charlotte.

This isn't working. The snake witch has taken plenty of damage but it doesn't seem like he's done much overall to slow her down and he's not certain what else to try.

Well damn. This could be a whole lot harder than anticipated.
"MINE!"
Again she dove at him, mouth gaping open, possibly intent on swallowing him. At her size that would no doubt be a very easy thing to do.

With the snake careening at him he realizes he doesn't have many options. It's time to approach the situation differently. A new snake forms from within. Does that mean his only method of defeating her might be from attacking her from the inside out?
Spirit might have pondered more on this, but there's little time. He transforms fully into a scythe, a steel rod planted into the ground, and braces himself to be swallowed. He could cause significant damage by slicing her throat on the way down, and then cut his way out.
Gruesome, yes. But it seemed like his only option--especially with how quickly the snake is descending upon him.

It was like sinking into a void, Everything was inky black, a strange magic clawing at the living weapon, trying to break it down and rip it apart. It wasn't all that powerful, especially against his metal body, but it probably wasn't the best idea to stay in there for any extended period of time...

Sinking into the darkness, he focused on the sensation of where he is in relation to the world he knows is outside. The clawing sensation of magic grabbing for him, trying to dismantle him, is enough to reframe his focus again. With a moment's pause he could right himself and know which way was out. Movement without a meister remains something he struggles with, but he starts to slice forward to out--despite being just the weapon himself the movement is fast and hard, enough strength behind the motion that the blade will slice easily.
[Minions]
The plush mice and nurse creatures weren't very sturdy, but they were quick and efficient. Every home they entered, forcing their way through doors or climbing outside and breaking windows. Their goal was the fridge and cabinets, searching for any cheese or cheese flabored product. If they didn't find any they would hunt down the patrons of the home to bring back meat instead.
Though they weren't especially strong they could easily kill any human through sheer numbers. Each was dangerous in its own way, the mice by ramming people, the nurses through bladed surgical equipment.
