[Action for Satsuki and Nonon, possibly Koishi] Backdated to the 11th
[Gamagori was... at a loss, really. Satsuki had needed him in a way that Ryuko had needed Mako, and he couldn't help her. He had put himself through multiple punishments, despite the rather minor injuries to his shoulder. It wasn't until today that he remembered something he'd bought a while back with his taxi money that might help Satsuki pull out of the rather... deep depressive mood she was in.]

But right now things like that were as far as possible from her mind. She hadn't made it through the battle unscathed herself, though her injuries were not that severe. She was far more worried about taking care of Satsuki, and had been difficult to pry from the woman's side. Only when it was necessary for her to be alone, or when she had insisted, had Nonon left her alone.
The face of the girl as the door opens is twisted into a look of annoyance. There might be a few scratches and bruises there, but they can't compared to the look she has on her face for the person who dared disturb Satsuki while she was resting. "Satsuki-sama isn't taking visitors, go away! I'm not gonna say it twice...." And then she realizes who was at the door. "...Oh. Its you. You're allowed. As long as you're alone." She'd glance over Gama's shoulder to check, but when one of them is extra small and one is extra large, that is extra impossible.

She had been projecting a far more potent calming aura, however. One that could be easily felt by everyone present. It was not something that Koishi would normally do, either, since it probably did Satsuki's pride no favors. Currently, however, it was for the best. Not just for Satsuki's sake but for the sake of everyone else who interacted with her.
She stopped humming and perked up as the door was knocked on, floating up and landing on her feet, her outline sharpening significantly. A few moments later she was at the door, squeezing her way past Nonon, hopping up into the air, throwing her arms gently around Gamagori's neck. It was the only way she could hug him after all.
"Mister Big! Hello!" Fortunately she let go quickly. "Miss White is in her chair! She just made tea. It's jasmine flavor."

She's been pushing through her work, trying her best to focus and pull herself together though with Koishi's aura it actually wasn't difficult to make progress on that front. Really, aside from the change in clothing, one who isn't close to her wouldn't even know she was struggling in any manner. And Koishi is right, Gamagori is right on time for tea, and since neither Luke or her Gothorita are about she's made it herself- she's decent at it, clearly no professional. The seated Guardian would greet the big man with her usual, "Gamagori." once he steps in.
Of course Nonon's presence is always welcome; in fact she had asked the musician's help in putting a new uniform together later today- She doesn't intend to not wear Junketsu forever of course, but she can't bring herself to don him right now either; not in her current state.
That aside she wonders; does he have something to report today?

He gently pulled Koishi from his neck, making his way in front of Satsuki's desk. If there was one thing he could boast, it was being able to know how to get people's attention.
"Satsuki-sama, I have here a package that Nonon and I have gotten for you. I trust you remember why I'm bringing it to you today?"
Sure he was the one that had bought the gift, but considering the rather nebulous version of time that this city wrapped itself in, and recent events, he didn't mind sharing the credit with Nonon. After all, he knows Nonon wouldn't just forget the date.

That, and the little green terror that just keeps popping up out of nowhere. How is Satsuki supposed to rest with some weird ghost girl speaking to her in such cryptic ways? Whenever she doesn't have a headache, she can count on Koishi!
The gesture of attaching her name to the contents of that box does not go unnoticed. She gives Ira a glance, but decides not to say anything. She hadn't forgot, naturally, but there had been other things on her mind. Namely Satsuki. She knew everyone else shared her concern, she wasn't going to go and claim she was MOST CONCERNED just because she refused to leave the woman alone without being asked. Even annoying little Koishi was obviously concerned, and that was the main reason she hadn't tried to chase the girl off. The other reason is, of course, that she has no idea what she could do that would get rid of the satori anyway.
The biggest sign of respect is that not only does she NOT interrupt Ira or try to get into his way, she actually steps aside to allow him to get closer. Its subtle, but it shows just how good her opinion of the big guy is. "Of course she does....right?" All things considered, she might not!

Oblivious to Nonon's irritation, and ignoring Ira's speech, she drifted right over to Satsuki's desk, reaching down and pulling out a few teacups and saucers and putting them on the table. Though Koishi couldn't make tea poroperly she wasn't so distracted that she couldn't pour it. And pour she did. She lifted the very modern 'teapot' and filled the three cups before topping Satsuki's off. They were uneven and one was filled a bit too much... but it was the thought that counted, right?
She did stop to examine Gamagori's box, making a small sound and flying over to it, tilting her head to examine it from a different angle. "You're getting a present Miss White?" Apparently the little youkai didn't know. "Did I miss a holiday?" No doubt Koishi would try and get Satsuki a present if she was told. Who knows what her strange perception would come up with?

Even if Satsuki had forgotten, the gift is such a massive hint that it would have clicked anyway. At home she hadn't made a spectacle of her birthday in years- but students always knew when it was. Thankfully they didn't sacrifice goats for the occasion. "Of course," she responds though surprise has broken through her otherwise neutral expression at this point. Her gaze is focused on the gift for a moment; normally they're just left on a table and so she doesn't make a motion to accept it. She doesn't really feel like she 'deserves' a gift anyway. "I cannot help but feel that this was not a very.. Good year."
Certainly not one worth celebrating.
Her attention shifts to Koishi then, and she shakes her head, "Not exactly. I turned nineteen today."
no subject
"Not a good year? With all due respect, Satsuki-sama, I disagree. The fact that for nineteen years, you have shown more resolve, courage, and ambition than anyone on the face of our world, that you have lived under the same roof with a creature bent on feeding humanity to clothing and remained pure completely aside, think about where we stand. Yes, our attempt to kill Ragyo did not go as planned and she showed far more abilities than any of us could have guessed she had, however..."
He pauses for a moment, thumbing the golden stars on his uniform. "Iori was able to provide each of the Elite Four with a more powerful Goku Uniform without endangering our minds, we have a powerful ally of Nudist Beach, and we found your sister alive and well, and eager to help our cause. That in itself is worthy of celebration, especially as we are here, free from the flow of time in our world where we can better prepare for the day that we bring Ragyo down."
He puts a hand on the wrapped box, moving it closer to Satsuki. "Nonon, Sanegeyama, Inumuta and I all pledged our undying loyalty to your cause, to your ambition, to your greatness, Satsuki-sama. None of us would have done so for some normal person. You are Satsuki Kiryuin, and you will shape the world with your ambition. We all believe that in the depths of our hearts, and will gladly walk whatever path that takes us down, side by side. You were there to pick us up when we were at our lowest. Please... allow us the honor of doing that for you."
no subject
"Besides, its not like you to let a little something like this worry you so much. So a few things haven't gone how we wanted, big deal! You aren't hearing me complain." Which in itself says a lot, considering her nature. "Now accept your gift and don't make me tell you again." Its not like her to be bossy with Satsuki, but she tops her words off with a smile.

Oddly enough she didn't get as overly invasive as expected during Gamagori's speech. She just floated in place, staring up at him, lips pursed. Her gaze fell to Nonon once he had finished, drifting a little bit toward the pink haired girl.
She let the quiet hang for a moment, looking between the three other people in the room, perhaps deciding it was her turn to give Satsuki some encouraging words. "You're super nice Miss White." Well... She was off to a great start. "And you did a lot of really good things. And you are really strong and brave and ambitious. Even more than other human. Why would you think it was a bad year? We had so much fun together and did so many good things. Don't let one bad apple ruin the barrel."
Koishi reached up and took off her hat, drifting over and placing it on Satsuki's head gently. "You can wear Mister Hat today, okay? I always feel special wearing him so you can wear him too." The little satori's hat was quite comfortable to wear but its slightly lopsided design was still a bit strange.

Long story short, her eyes widen enough to display enough emotion to read as surprise. After listening to Nonon, the Guardian lowers her gaze to the box and struggles a bit to find comfort in those words- She holds herself to a higher standard; how could she shake off these experiences as 'easily' as they have? How could she possibly view them as 'minor'? And yet their still unwavering faith isn't something she can readily ignore either. There's something she's missing, but she will figure it out; that she is certain of. "All right.." 'I put myself in your care.' is what she had intended to follow that up with but can't quite get the words to pass her lips. Instead reaches for the gift with the intent of unwrapping it as neatly as possible.
Koishi's comments are a welcome distraction, and while she had always assumed the satori is older than her, it still made for interesting commentary- Centuries old, is it? As for the hatting? That is less welcome, but she knows better than to remove it and her justification for it's acceptance being 'a kind gesture is a kind gesture'. Still, she feels a little silly in it. "The thought alone is fine, Komeiji." she eventually says to Koishi, as she really doesn't want another animal in the penthouse. "And.. Perhaps I am just still in a bit of shock."
no subject
"Shock is understandable, Satsuki-sama. But you don't have to bear that burden alone. You know Nonon and I would gladly do whatever we could for you. You're more than just a leader to us, Satsuki-sama."
He wouldn't get into his own feelings on the matter, just because it didn't seem to be the time or place. Not to mention he was pretty sure Nonon would have a fit if he said anything to that effect. Instead, he'd just let that hang and allow Nonon to fill the silence next.
no subject
"I'm sure she already knows that. I mean, consider all we've been through together already, you don't really think a minor little thing like this is gonna hold us back, right Satsuki-sama? It isn't like you to let things bother you this much. Just count on us when things go wrong. You're our leader, but we're still a team." She glances at Koishi with a look of annoyance on her face. "Even if some of us invited ourselves. Still, even that thing likes you, and she isn't even human." She sounds insulting, but in a tiny way she's actually being nice to Koishi. Not only is she acknowledging her existence, but saying something somewhat positive about her. It isn't much, she's not going to just like the girl right away or anything, but its a little bit of a start.

Koishi blinked and perked up, staring off at the wall, her expression muted. Her head slightly inclined as if listening, third eye perked up a bit. A moment later she took a step forward and vanished. While it wasn't unusual for Koishi to pick up something psychically, she generally didn't wander off suddenly like that.
She hadn't gone far, reappearing near Satsuki's other side, the sleeves of a familiar uniform tied around her shoulders. "The whole team is here now! Buggy could hear us and was feeling grumbly so I brought him in. I can hear him better now. I bet he's really sorry too." Koishi patted the sleeve gently, third eye swaying. "See? He's not soggy anymore." There really hadn't been much change in Junketsu though the eye peeking over Koishi's shoulder moved to focus on Satsuki.
Koishi went for her cup not bothering to remove Junketsu fro her shoulders. She at least understood that Satsuki didn't want to touch him at the moment... Or maybe he was just warm. "I love jasmine flavor!"

The gift is unwrapped and at first she doesn't seem to react. It's a long, silent stare at it, then her arm is propped at the elbow upon the desk with her hand raised to her forehead. It isn't an exact match, no, but Satsuki picks up on the intent quite quickly and she, to her own surprise, feels a wave of emotion as a result. For the moment she isn't really certain why getting a gift this time around is so different from her previous birthdays. And it wasn't 'like her' to be so sentimental. So while she looks like she may be aggravated, there are very sincere words that pass her lips, "Thank you."
It's such a consice answer, though. It occurs to her that maybe she should elaborate or give some sort of speech, but it's at that point that Koishi returns. The Guardian is so surprised by what she sees that she ends up jerking back in her seat which drags the legs across the floor a bit in the process. And so her expression settles to an incredibly annoyed frown. "Put Junketsu back, Komeiji."

"I'm just glad I could please you, Satsuki-sama."
no subject
"What part of what I said made you think I like you? I tolerate you because Satsuki-sama doesn't seem to mind you, that is all! Don't go thinking we're friends or anything." Though she doesn't protest too loudly. She doesn't want to disturb Satsuki or ruin Ira's touching little speech. So for the sake of that, she lets it go. Right up until the youkai girl decides that a kamui is actually a cape. Her eyes go noticeably wide, but Satsuki seems so calm about it and Gamagori is so quick in taking control of the situation she lets it drop with nothing but an annoyed look being shot Koishi-ward. It only lasts a moment before turning her attention back to Satsuki.
"Don't worry. We'll take care of you today. After all, the city needs you to take care of everyone, after all." She'd have to have been both blind AND deaf to not notice Satsuki's reaction.
Must catch up on tags x~x
She almost didn't notice Gama advancing on her, turning and looking up at the giant at the last minute. She hopped back very quickly, expression settling into a mild frown. "Buggy wanted to come in and say he was sorry. I'm sure of it. He's opaque and fractured all over..." It was likely that she had not removed herself from the kamui's 'subconscious' since the incident. "He's a part of the team too and the team cares what happens to you! Because you're a nice person and a good leader."
"He's just not very good at self control I bet. If you work with him it will get better. I'm sure of it. He doesn't like being lonely all wrapped up in a tiny place."
The kamui moved then, a sleeve unwinding to wrap up around the satori's head, covering her eyes. The other wound more around her shoulders and neck. It had pulled itself up further to see more of the room while also reinforcing its grip.
Fortunately, Koishi didn't appear to be in any distress, giggling slightly, the looped heart growing more defined as she tried to work the sleeve off of her face. "Buggy noooo! I can't see if you do that!"

But it is rather difficult. Leaving the office may be a good start. "I trust you have brought your vehicle, Gamagori? Perhaps we should go out to get something to eat."
Her attention returns to the satori youkai, expression blank as if processing what exactly she's looking at. Because seriously; she had never seen the kamui behave like this before and it's almost a little worrying. First she raises her hand, as if signifying to Gamagori that she'll handle this herself. She taps her finger on the desk at a steady pace, then at the tenth tap speaks, "Tell him his apology is accepted, then place him back. This is the last time I will repeat myself, Komeiji." The tone may or may not ring familiar to the koiball; it is similar to the way she spoke before she let Luke go.

Even with everything he knew, and had seen. Everything odd about Matoi and Senketsu... nothing really quite prepared him for the notion of apologetic clothing. Still, he offers a nod to Satsuki, releasing his grip on the kamui as he attempted to pry it from the Satroi. Of course he doesn't step backward either. He was still a bit defensive after the kamui went berserk.
"It is parked outside, Satsuki-sama," he said, eyes still not moving as his scowl fell on the kamui.

It was mildly annoying that the little satori doesn't respond to her words, but she is willing to let it go. What she isn't going to let go is how the girl seems to be making a bother of herself. She opens her mouth to berate the green haired little thing, but then closes it just as promptly. Satsuki has spoken, and no doubt the satori will take her words more serious then she would Nonon's.
Satsuki's suggestion brings a confused look to her face. "You want to go out? Really? ....Well, if you want to." It might be for the best. Sitting around alone wouldn't help her as much as getting out there and being a person instead of a mopeyface. She wouldn't have to do it alone either. "But it should be just the three..." Her eyes rest on Koishi and there's an audible and undisguised sigh. "...four of us. Leave the kamui here."
no subject
She looked up at the Kamui smiling. The article was just staring at Satsuki. "I bet that if you practiced working together you would be an even better and more controlled team. It's hard to sense Buggy because he's not a normal person. If it's hard for me I bet its really hard for you. If he learned to better anticipate what you're doing I bet you'd work together much better."
Koishi finally turned and began walking back toward the other room, the Kamui turning a little, still watching Satsuki. "Too bad you can't talk. That would help a lot. And... Don't worry..." Koishi's voice faded in and out a little bit until- "Buggy! Stop! Miss White says I have to mmph-" a pause. "Don't cover my mouth like that. Wah! Now I can't see again. Hey- ow. Just...!"
A moment later Koishi backed out of the room, holding her hands up. "Now just stay there. You should take a nap or something, okay?" The little youkai faded, appearing again at Satsuki's side, picking up her tea once more. She sipped. "Aww... It's cold now..."
