I've realized that while I have been trained to handle certain types of situations, doesn't mean I can handle other types that one might not consider. Such as being here.

So... I guess I was wondering if anyone would be willing to teach me a thing or two. Maybe with a new weapon or help me figure out more uses for a weapon I have that doesn't involve throwing people at other people with it.

I will appreciate any and all help.

I've never really spared before so I would have no idea how to in the first place. But I'd be happy to learn about other weapons and hand to hand sometime.

I just have a weapon called an Artemis Rod and it sounds exactly as it is called. It's a rod.

I guess I would be better at speed than stength so I guess 6 for speed and around 4 in strength. Maybe lower. I never really rated myself before.

Sniper Scythe? I've honestly never heard of such a weapon before. So it was something you made?

Yep! It's tradition in Signal Academy to design and make your own weapon. I went a little overboard with mine, but I love it. I can show you how it works if you'd like to sometime.

There's a dojo around here if you're interested in learning martial arts. I know there's at least a judo instructor there, that might be a good place to start before you start working with weapons.

That always sounds like a good first start at least. better that and then take the needed steps than jumping straight into it.

Plus, if you don't want to carry around your weapon constantly then having some form of defense would be useful.

That is true, although I doubt that I wouldn't like carrying my weapon around. it's quite easy to conceal when I don't need it.

I take it your weapon choice isn't a large weapon.

It isn't. It can change size but it's still not that big. Easy enough to handle at least.

It's a rod that back home was an Anti-Vampire weapon. All it does it extend and hurt those that are vampires.

I don't think there are too many vampires here. You might want something with a little more power on top of that.

I know, I mean where I live there are some, but I've managed those.

But I guess that's why I am thinking of getting something else, because I know it's not useful against anything else. I just haven't a clue what would suit my style of fighting after only using that one weapon.

Try a few different types out under supervision and see what feels most natural to you.

That should be easy enough to do. I mean there might be a lot of weapons I will have to try, but I'll get there eventually.
