[It was one thing to go from summer time to winter time, but it was another thing to do that when something very dire has just happened and one had been taken. So the first thing on Rapunzel's mind was not that she was in a brand new place as much as she needed to go to Eugene's aid. She had been so frantic in her actions that she fell out of the pod and into the chilly water. Pulling herself out of the water, she tried to ring out her dress a little to get rid of some of the water at least. Her dress was one thing, but her hair was another story. Reeling in her hair, she tried to pull it all out -- or at least most of it -- before attempting to sort of ring that out as well.

The stuff that you arrive with? Yeah.... She forgot them in a hurry, so with no idea about these items, she tried to find somebody or something to go by. She needed to get back to Eugene somehow.]

E-Excuse me! Please help me! I need to get back to my friend.

[Calling out to people, with no avail.]

Please! I need to get back. He's going to die on me!

[Despite being soaked from head to toe from the fall, there were also tears running down her cheeks. Eugene was going to die and she could save him. She could have saved him with her hair and... Now she was gone. She didn't have time for this!]

It was fortunate then that Sakuya happened to be passing by. The maid was doing some last minute Christmas shopping and was carrying a bag filled with several select items (as well as a small box of still meaty rib bones for Castlevania's werewolves).

She paused upon hearing Rapunzel's voice. An incident perhaps? She took a moment to check her pocket watch before vanishing into the void of time, quickly locating the source of the screaming. No, not an incident. Just another panicked new arrival.

Resisting the urge to roll her eyes she straightened up, tapping her watch once and resuming time, seeming to appear in a ripple of chilling energy. Hopefully that would be enough to snap the frantic woman out of her hysteria.

"Please calm down. No one is going to die."

But... Eugene... He's been stabbed..

He needs my help. I can help him but I need to get back to him!

"I gathered that someone has been stabbed." Sakuya had to avoid sighing, closing her eyes for a moment to keep her irritation in check. Maybe someone was actually stabbed and things will get interesting? She held up a hand to stop Rapunzel.

"Is it safe for me to assume you just woke up? In a metal pod?" Then again she was soaked. No doubt she fell out into the bay...

[Well sorry if the guy she loved was dying while she was taken here and she could save him.]

Well.. Yes.. I.. I think so?

"Then you have nothing to worry about. You've been spirited away to another world." She held up a hand to stop Rapunzel before she could object again. "Time will not advance in your world until you return. So your friend will not die."

She straightened her shoulders. "This is all explained in the information provided in the pamphlet. I assume you did not read it?" She also didn't seem to have taken the provided phone and necklace. "You will need that as well as the other objects given to you if you wish to survive here."

But... How is that possible?

[So he... She could save him after all..? If that was true, she would feel a little better, but that doesn't change much for her. She was still worried.]

I... No I didn't. I didn't even notice those...

"None of us are really sure how this was possible. All we know is that we are here now. There's no changing that." The maid let out another sigh, though this one was far less irritated than the others.

Her eyes flashed red and there was a ripple of chilling energy as the maid vanished momentarily, reappearing with a necklace, the pamphlet, the phone, and the envelope in hand, offering them all to Rapunzel. "Here. You will need these. The necklace especially. Do not lose it."

What's a warrior-mage to do, faced with a woman crying like this? "Whose dying?" she asked, casual clothes disappearing in a puff of smoke before her armor materialized. It sounded like there was danger here.

A sword similarly appeared in her hand, ready to take on whatever challenge came.

[Wow, that was really revealing for a moment. That wasn't important though.]

E-Eugene... He's been stabbed and I.. I need to help him!

[Was it? Erza does it quite often, actually...

But yes. It wasn't important. She gave a curt nod, gripping her sword tight.] Where is he?

[alwaysgrounded]

I.. I don't know... I was with him and then... I must have blacked out and then I ended up here.

I see... It was the same with me.

I'm told time doesn't move back home.

[alwaysgrounded]

It.. doesn't move? So... I can still save him?

[Action]

[Luke is startled by the shouting, and turns to look at the stranger. She's crying--and a gentleman would never leave a lady in need without trying to help!]

Ah--miss! L...let me help you!

[Luke doesn't have much that's warm, but he offers his scarf and mittens to her, and starts looking for a handkerchief so she can wipe her eyes. At least something.]

[That's nice of him and while she is a little cold since she isn't wearing any shoes and a light dress, she's not as concerned about that. But it was offered to her so she accepted anyways.]

T-Thank you but... Eugene.... He's in trouble...

Time passes different at home...even though you're here, people won't miss you there--it's almost like it stops totally.

[Luke finally finds a handkerchief and hands it to her, frowning.]

It... It stops? But... But how is that possible?

[But if that's true, then that means he won't die and she'll be able to save him after all!]

I don't really understand how. But people keep saying that--or that time will pass, but their friends from home say they weren't missing at all. It's...really strange.

I'm sorry but there is no way to leave this place. You'll have to hope he makes it through on his own.

[She said somewhat harshly, but there was a sad comfort to her eyes]

[She shoved it out, not feeling completely unsorry for her plite]

There's no use dwelling on that for too long. No one leaves here...

[What more could she say? Eugene was going to die and it was her fault. It was her fault that she got him to take her to see the lanterns. He would have been okay if he'd never met her.]

There's no point in worrying about it. If you're lucky- you being here means time might have stopped in your world. At least that way he wont be dead.

[She was being a tad harsh, but there was no amount of comfort would get rid of the worry the poor girl felt. Death was hard to deal with.]
