I don't think that's a reasonable inference to make, but it's a beautiful place indeed. Though I suppose anyone is inclined to say that of their home.

I wouldn't. My home isn't ugly, per se, but it is what you'd expect of a metropolitan city. I think it's the people who make the place more beautiful, in both our cases.

Well, that depends on how many people there are, no matter how beautiful. Or rather, I think so personally. Places get uncomfortable when it's too crowded.

You're more of a rural girl? I never would have guessed. Personally, I like the certain degree of anonymity cities offer. The crowds can be overwhelming at first, but after a while you get used to it.

Well, rural might be too much said.. I've lived in the center of attention quite a bit at home, considering my family is very involved with my country's political structure, but when it comes down to it, I enjoy having time away from it on the country-side.

I can understand why many would yearn for your attention, but coming from someone who can rarely escape the limelight, I understand your plight all too well. It's nice to be able to escape once in a while.

You'vee been exceptionally flattering this whole conversation, but it has little to do with how you are as a person and a lot more with what family you belong to. It's a societal duty you are born into.

I suppose that is a key difference to your fame. What was it that you were doing at home exactly?

Even so, legacies and family-based rankings can only go so far. If you had nothing to back up your name, I doubt as many people would want to spend their time with you. They might tolerate you, but someone who seems as intelligent as you would be able to see through it.

Back home, I'm a famous idol. My voice has enthralled many fans, and my acting has put audiences to tears. They even liken me to a fallen angel, and being the devoted celebrity I am, I've decided to go along with it. I think it suits me rather well, don't you?

[ She nods as he says the first part. There is a lot to being nobility, certainly, and not fulfilling the expectations of those around you is fatal.

A fallen angel...? That's quite the melancholic title, but... wouldn't that make you a devil?

Devils are known to help people fall into temptation, so maybe. I prefer to be thought of as more earthly and attainable than my celestial counterparts.

[he forces himself to smile.]

You can relax though, it's just theatrics.

I hadn't assumed otherwise. It's a grandiose premise for your performances for sure.

That's how I achieved my fame. Even if I had known it would mean the non-stop attention and focus from the media and fans, I wouldn't have reconsidered, but it was a choice for me, and not something I was born into.

It's a good quality to be able to stick to your decisions with all their consequences. If you are holding a show here at some point, I might come by to see what you worked for.
