Backdated to earlier in the day on the 2nd [Video]
[Blake pops up on the screen looking more than a little concerned. And why shouldn't she be? Her partner has been missing for an entire day and night now, something very much not like her, and Blake is starting to fear the worst.]
Yang, if you can hear this, answer me. Ruby's worried sick.
[She sighs, pausing for a moment.]
If anybody else has heard from her today, can you contact one of us?

[he sighed slightly.]
You know your friend, where would she go to track down this person? That would be your best bet. Remember Blake, not only should you think like Yang would, think like a criminal. If she got in over her head, then where would they take her to?
[he taught her a lot as they grew up, but he always felt the need to remind her how to act.]

[The lessons were still there, but hearing them spoken outloud, in Adam's voice, brought them back to the forefront and gave her something to focus on besides her own worry and frustration.]
[She closes her eyes for a moment, taking a slow breath. Don't just think like yourself. Put yourself in your enemy's mind, think of things from their perspective, and decide how to act accordingly.]
They wouldn't have taken her easily. So... they'd need some place where they could keep her secured, and away from help. Not out in the open, or in the main part of the city.

So on the outskirts of the city? Is there a place where they could be hiding away?
Be it a building, or whatever. A captor's main objective is to stay hidden for a certain amount of time, so think about the shadows.

[She's thinking outloud now.]
But the city isn't very big... the problem is the subcities. There are plenty of places to hide somebody out there.
no subject
[honestly, he was just spewing out questions too as he thought outloud.]
I'll admit, even I'm a little stumped. [...but he was helping because he knew it meant a lot to blake to get her friend back.]

If it was me, I'd go for somewhere close and easy to reach, at least at the start. But they had hours to get a headstart even before we started searching.
[It's starting to look less than promising.]
no subject
We're both quick. If we split up and search the outskirts we might be able to find something.
[adam wasn't doing this for yang's sake, he didn't even know her. he knew that blake needed help, and there were still so many mixed feelings ever since he came here but....
he couldn't abandon blake. that wasn't like him.]
no subject
Wait. Are you saying you'll help us?
[Adam was going to help rescue a human?]
no subject
[she's blake's friend. he wouldn't even think otherwise if she were a random human.]
no subject
I'll take the Northern part of the city.
no subject
Blake. What does Yang look like?
[the most obvious question and yet he almost overlooked it...]
no subject
Oh. Right.
[That would be helpful to include, wouldn't it?]
She's about five-six... long blonde hair, violet eyes but they change to red if she's mad. She might be on fire.
She stands out in a crowd.
[She doesn't even hesitate describing Yang. Adam was offering to help, not harm her and there wasn't much point in hiding it. The city wasn't that big and if Adam wanted to find out what her friends looked like, he would.]
no subject
I see. That makes it even weirder that she was captured without anyone knowing, by that description.
[he nods.]
I'll be off to look.
