[ there's a moment where the view is upside down- and it's of nothing but a blue arrow. he pauses, holds it out further so the entire person holding it is in the shot (still upside down) ]

I think I figured everything out. Sort of. I can just talk into this, right? And then everyone else sees or hears it? [ there's a pause where he's not sure what to do after that. is it even working? how would he know? ] It's so weird to talk to people without knowing if you're actually talking to people.

Uh... - I'm Aang! Hi. Weiss said that this was an entirely different world. Thanks for the introduction explain by the way if you can see this! She said different world so I was wondering where everyone else came from to begin with? I only know the one I came from-- Okay, technically two but the Spirit World is interconnected and I can be in both at the same time so I'm not sure if that counts.

Also, how do people go about finding out if anyone they know is here? Or has anyone seen a flying bison around? Do you guys have bear-bears or different kinds of bears? What's a video anyway? Is this a spirit world or a regular world?

He nearly destroyed Genessia City. It was bad.

[ the fading remnants of that fight are still coiled around his the palm of his right hand and wrist where the lightning he spent hours bending back up at the sky licked his skin. he and azula did what they could against the fire and lightning lucifer rained down from the sky, but they were just two people who couldn't be everywhere at once. at the time, zuko had been grateful he'd been able to talk azula into helping defend the city at all.

before he answers any of those other questions, he can't help but venture: ] ...what you know?

[ he's not sure he wants to know what aang knows. there's a reason zuko's been avoiding the dream docks. ]

[ aang pauses. he has good news. zuko doesn't want to hear any of it and would rather be left without the ease of mind. considering their circumstances, he really has to wonder if zuko expects -- no he definitely expects -- unfortunate news that one or more of them perished or his father took over. which would make want not wanting to hear it understandable. aang's been on the side of bad news from the future before. it's not something he wishes on people.

but it's not the case here. there's a sigh after a moment ]

Alright, Zuko. I'll try not to say anything else about it. [ 'else' because he likely already let it slip that zuko himself made it out of the event just fine by being utterly unsurprised he was talking to him here if zuko was paying enough attention. and aang himself is definitely alive. that doesn't mean they won though, so it's not too bad of a spoiler he thinks ]

[ in all honesty, he's a bit baffled by that confirmation of survival. zuko didn't expect to survive. he left the fire nation knowing the risks, one of those being not living to see the end of the war. it's not a bad spoiler, just one he doesn't quite know what to do with yet. maybe once he's had time to process that, he'll be more open to asking questions and learning more, but right now, it's a notion his more comfortable with shutting down than exploring. ]

You have to stay on top of your bending, and this place doesn't always provide us with opportunities to flex our skills. This isn't a war-torn world. It's actually pretty much at peace most of the time.

Azula isn't omnipresent. And there's a battle dome. There's plenty of places we can go to work on your firebending where she won't see us. Genessia's a big place, and Fayren is just one city.

[ yes, he's doing that again. having to play the loyal brother meant that he couldn't always get away with doing things without azula taking issue. the anonymity the mask provided him with was once again necessary. it allowed him to do what he otherwise would've had a difficult time with if he wanted to remain in his sister's good graces. his betrayal would set her off, he's certain of it, and that's not something he's willing to unleash on genessia. ]

If all else fails, we could meet that way.

[ zuko probably doesn't need to go stealing anything here so any blue spirit antics he's up would have to be good things, right? that's how aang's going to look at it. it would be a way to do things without azula noticing. there won't be any judgement for that. his tone goes completely understanding. ]

Alright. The Blue Spirit and I are friends anyway according to our matching wanted posters. [ well. old wanted poster. they're going to take aang's down. ...hopefully. ] That wouldn't be suspicious at all. I can pretend to hang out with the Blue Spirit while you're with her if you want to be ruled out completely.

[ friends help friends get away with being a well-known criminal ]

[ nope. no stealing -- not unless he needs to steal something from azula that he otherwise can't get his hands on, but he hasn't run into that kind of situation yet. hopefully he won't. he doesn't mind putting a target on his back while wearing that mask, but he'd rather not bring in more attention than is needed. ]

I don't think it's ever crossed her mind to suspect me of being the Blue Spirit, but that would probably prevent her from even thinking about doing so. Thanks.
