[ the feed cuts on all of a sudden as a video being taken from above. in a trainee uniform stands a young boy with dark hair and freckles. he's got a couple of the brochures in his hands and seems to be dropping a few things that he was given while he reads over them. taking in as much information as he can. finally, he pats himself, and then tucks the brochures underneath his arm as he kneels down ]

Oops... I guess I should be a lot more careful. I hope this doesn't get me in trouble. [ he picks up the videophone, looking very calm and collected for someone who just showed up in a strange place ]

Hello, my name's Marco, member of the 104th Trainees Squad and assigned command of the 19th Trainee Squad. Could anyone give me any information? Or if I actually have to go get a job here? I kind of still have a job to do back home.

Marco, listen to me closely. There is no way out of this place, but I'm on my way to get you. It might take me a little while though since you're near Genessia City and I'm in Nova City right now.

[And after a while, the sound of equipment isn't nearly as loud. She'd bought casual clothing since coming here of course, but there was something about this that has urged her to wear her uniform. That being said, she's sort of made it a habit to wear her uniform more than needed. Carrying her 3DM gear on her was a normal thing for her.]

This is going to sound crazy, but you're stuck here like the rest of us and there's no known way out yet. That being said, I've been told by a few people that time works differently here and time seems to freeze back home while we're here. I can't verify this for myself, but I'm not in the position to believe otherwise either.

[Grabbing the device, you might hear the door open as she heads out of her apartment that Eren and her shared.]

M-Mikasa?! [ what was she doing here? she was needed at home a hell of a lot more than him! ] Aren't you... Where's Eren? Is he frozen back home?!

Is this place even real? It seens so nice here...compared to our home. [ he pauses ] I'll wait here. I've been here a while just reading over these pamplets.

[Seeing his surprise is not really.... surprising. She's been there before. So while she's holding the device, there's also some background noise that suggests she's using her 3DM gear.]

Eren is here with us as well, but you're the first person besides us to come here.

Unfortunately, this world is as real as it gets. There are other dangers that await here, but there have been no sightings of titans here. It's.... a little weird to have the free time and peace here that we never had back at home. To be honest, I'm still adjusting and I've been here for a few months.

That being said... [There was a pause as she continued moving.] What is the last thing you remember?

I remember being assigned to the breech on Wall Rose from the titans. I believe I was getting ready... Then I came here.

[ he raises a brow ] No titans or anything? I feel like...it'll probably be hard to adjust here too.

[So he was still alive when her was pulled here... There was no way she could say something like that to him though. She had no reason to, either.]

I see... I'm from a further time point than you are then. The last I remember was taking down an intelligent titan... Someone else like Eren to some extent. Or rather... I was just about to attack her.

[On a lighter note....]

There's some of the outside world here. Somebody here showed me what an "arcade" was or what "video games" are. I can't say they're really something that I'm used to. There are also things called "cars" around here. They're sort of like carriages, but you don't need a horse to pull it. It seems to have some sort of technology to pull itself.

A female titan?! [ he literally shouts it. he wasn't expecting to hear that at all ]

So they're things like this "videophone". Does this mean that we're in the future? Did everyone get taken into the future too? Or are they from the same time as everything here? [ he's still rambling off questions, his face getting pale and his voice getting lower and lower...then he passes out, dropping the phone onto the ground. so much for staying calm ]

[She's not about to tell him who it was since Annie wasn't here]

Well, in some nearer future, but I don't know how far. Some people are from the same time period of later even. It depends on the people and their worlds.

[And then she heard what was going on and...]

Marco? Hey! Marco! Stay with me here!

Marco!

[And then she head a loud clump and then the sound of the device falling to the ground.]

Damn it! Hold on, Marco. I'm on my way!

[He couldn't hear that probably, but nonetheless she picked up her pace as she turned hers off to focus more on getting there faster.]

[ none of this made any sense at all. none of it! and knowing that only the three of them were here... where was everyone else? frozen? or was that just something to ease his mind? was Jean okay? maybe he took on too much responsibility at once...

when Mikasa gets to his location, he'll be lying on the ground with the brochures scattered everywhere and holding the map to his chest. he's definitely out cold but maybe this is a much needed nap for him ]

[By the time she finally made it, she let out a small sigh. Picking up some of his stuff, she gather it all together and set it down for a moment to grab Marco and pick him up. If she could carry both Armin and Eren over her shoulder, she could just as easily carry Marco and his stuff. She just couldn't use her 3DM gear. So starting to walk after picking him up and carrying his stuff, she started the long trip back to her apartment for the time being.]

[ he wouldn't stay out for long. probably half way on her way back, he starts to stir ]

Uhh... What...

Oh good, you're finally awake.

[And you're still being held over her shoulder.]

I can assume from that you can wake on your own now, correct?

Yeah, of course I can...

Can you put me down now? [ his face is probably red from just knowing that Mikasa had to carry him ] Sorry about that.

[Sorry Marco. It was easier to carry you like this. But she stopped to set him down. Once he was on his feet and balanced enough, she offered his things.]

I didn't mean to overload you, so I'm sorry about that.

[Although there was so much more to this place that he hadn't heard about yet...]

No, no, I did it to myself. I started worrying about everyone and home... I just overwhelmed myself with a lot of questions. [ he took all of his brochures from her, beginning to look them over again ]

Is there...anything else I need to know about this place that I haven't asked yet?

[She let out a small sigh.]

Well... To be honest... there's a lot you should know about that I haven't even gotten to yet.

There are four cities around here, but Eren and I live in Nova City currently. There's Everglade, Genessia City, Nova City, and Attleton. Since Nova City has taller buildings, we figured that would be the better place to live since it helps with the 3DM gear.

Do you both live together? [ boy was that an obvious question. of course they did Marco, jeez. why wouldn't they? he almost wanted to ask if he could stay with them. just for the time being. he didn't know anyone else after all... but he decided not to say anything. he didn't want to intrude ]

How did you get here with your gear? Did Eren come with his gear too?

Yeah. He arrived shortly after I did. [She wouldn't have minded to be honest. She's just glad to see somebody from her world, despite her expression.] You should have some bills to start out with, but if you'd like I'm sure you can stay with us for now. It would help to save as much as you can, after all.

I woke up with it, but Eren didn't. So I'm the only one with the gear thus far. Which honestly... I'm glad to have come with it. I can't say it's super dangerous here, but it's better to prepared than to come empty handed.

Bills? But I don't even own anything right now. [ he sighs, a little defeated ] I didn't ask for any of this...but I guess there's no reason to complain about it.

...Really? I mean, as long as I'm not a burden on either of you.

I'm glad at least one of us has it. You are the more skilled one in our squad.

Ah! No, not bills as in you have to pay for something. There's some red bills in that packet that's start up money. The currency here are these.

[Pulling out some of her own to show him before putting it back.]

Not at all. I may ask a little help as far as rent goes, but you're fine for now.

[She knows she graduated first out of the cadets, but it's still a surprise to hear someone think that. She was more concerned about keeping Eren, Armin, and herself alive to care. Still, a compliment is still a compliment.]

[She may or may not be tugging at her scarf without realizing it.]

Oh! [ he pulled out his own bills from his pocket to show ] These? I thought I heard someone talking about "bills that are due" and I figured that I would have to do that as well soon...

[ he couldn't help but smile, nodding his head ] Of course! Anything you ask! I could clean or cook whatever you guys would like. [ he notices, still smiling lightly. he won't draw any attention to it though ]

Yep, that's what I'm talking about. Those are what are used as currency here.

[Oh, that would be fantastic wow.]

That would be great. So far I do most of the cooking and cleaning, so an extra hand would be helpful.

Eren doesn't help? [ he doesn't exactly picture Mikasa as some kind of housewife... so Eren must just work a lot ] Thank you. I really appreciate all of your generosity, Mikasa.

He does sometimes, but some of the stuff is out of his comfort zone...

[Like cooking, but Mikasa isn't exactly much better. She's been basically teaching herself how to cook better slowly.]

It's nice to see you're okay.

[And yes that could insinuate his death, but she can just as easily pass that off as... She's glad to see people from her world.]

Ah... I understand. How far away is your home from here?

[ his smile turns a little sheepish ] Yeah, I'm sorry if I scared you when I passed out earlier. I heard you yelling...but I was slipping out of conciousness.

Well, I hurried here with my gear so it didn't take nearly as long. By this point we're almost there.

[She could maybe figure out a way to carry him while using her gear but... he's not small like Luke was. Luke could hang onto her piggy back style without hindering the process of moving. It wasn't going to be that simple with Marco, nor does she think he'd like that.]

It's fine, you just worried me a little. I didn't expect you to black out like that.
