[Action]

[For a good three hours the new arrival sat frozen, not far from where he woke, too scared to move. This must have been a dream, and maybe if he refused to react to it, he'd finally wake up, back in his own room, where it was safe and the closest thing to reality shifting was the video games he played. That's how it worked, right?

It wasn't working.

After some pathetic sounds that sounded close to sobs, a fit where he outright panicked and shouted for his friends (or anyone) later, Mikoto steeled himself and stood up, gripping onto the folder like it was a lifeline.

He took two steps before he sat back down and retreated within himself again. Yeah, no, he's not going anywhere.

Still... He played with the videophone in his hand a little. At least one thing made some sense in this place. It wasn't too different from his phone back home. After some hesitation, he turned it on, his face barely visible and eyes averted to the ground.]

My name is Mikoto Mikoshiba and I need a job.

[It was one of those days where Minako for once didn't stay in Nova City and kept an eye out for anything of interest in Genessia such as arrows of love when she came across the other. She had to admit he was rather cute. Nice hair at least. This was enough to get her to walk over with a smile.]

Welcome. I've never seen you before, so I assume you must be new. I'm Minako Aino.

[There was a person here. Why was she here? There was no guarantee she had seen him, so Mikoto kept as still as possible, until she began to approach. Had she seen him?? Scrambling to his feet, he did his best to hide. She was cute, unfamiliar, and talking to him.]

[Wait, wasn't he supposed to say something?]

You'd remember me if you saw me. I always leave an impression on the cute girls I meet.

[He was freezing, but his face felt like it was on fire.]

[Minako couldn't help but watch as the person tried to hide and she couldn't help but give a small chuckle at that.]

I believe that when you say it. I can imagine you leaving an impression. But never the less welcome, new commoner to Genessia, your home away from home.

'Commoner'? You're talking to the shining star of Roman Academy.

[He threads his fingers through his hair, a habit he finds works well with these sort of lines. He smiles as charmingly as he thinks he can while he feels like curling up.]

But I guess I could forgive you. It's not like you knew any better.

I have no idea what this Roman Academy is.

[She pauses slightly.]

I haven't done anything wrong, though. We just come from very different worlds.

That's--that's right! Our worlds are so different it's amazing we can even talk to eachother!

[So there's no way they would be compatible, right? The rich, beautiful girl who always got good grades, and the delinquent guy who had a rough life... His imagination was getting the better of him, going down a road he originally hadn't even intended. With a sound that sounded close to a held-back sob, he ducked away from her, trying to make himself as invisible as possible.]

Huh... you actually have a point about that. How can we understand one another if we are from different places?

[It was actually something she was seriously starting to think about. Interesting, but it will get boring rather quickly. Once she snapped out of it she was wondering what on earth he was doing.]

Um... What are you doing? Are you okay?

[Had she noticed? He stood back to his full height and laughed weakly, trying to look as if he was completely at ease with the situation.]

I was just thinking. It's easy to tell you're not from my world, because only a goddess would be as beautiful as you.

[Oh. Well. That was incredibly embarrassing.]

Oh, really? For all you know, I could actually be a goddess.

[Someone flirting back? At first it shocks him enough to make him speechless, but he recovers and continues.]

If you're a goddess, I would have no choice but to devote my life to you.

[She couldn't help but laugh slightly. This was odd for even her really.]

That is not necessary. So long as you believe in love and beauty, then that is all I ask for. [She gives a small wink and her smile brightens.]

Because love is what helps people in this world.

[Mikoshiba finds himself blushing. Not out of embarrassment, but because he's excited and agrees with her.]

Love is the best! I definitely feel that love can fix all problems! [He clasps his hands together in front of his chest.] That's how they show it in all the stories! If it didn't really work, they wouldn't do that!

Exactly! Stories, video games no matter where you look in fiction love is something that solves problems. Be it friendship or romantic. It's the best thing ever.

[She could go on forever about the subject and she was kind of glad that there were others who actually agreed with her on this type of thing.]
