[Levi had been in this place for an hour or two, reading the pamphlet he was given at the very beginning and testing the strange device he had been given. He's not panicking. It's not like he was kidnapped or eaten by titans. He was simply returning back inside the walls when he woke up here.

However, he is rather annoyed. He didn't have time to be here. There were things he needed to do back at home. After that battle they needed to regroup and be prepared to what's to come. So why was here? It really pissed him off not to be able to do anything about it.

He had to keep going for the sake of those who had fallen. There was no time to find yourself in a place like this.

Levi finally decided to take contact with the device given to him. There wasn't much emotion on his face, even if his eyes told another story. He was wearing his usual survey corps clothes, but he didn't have his 3D gear with him. On top of that, he was injured, but that didn't show on the outside.]

This situation is fucking idiotic. I don't care a shit about where we are or what we need to do here. Frankly, I don't even care why the fuck we're here.

[Well, good day to you too, sir.]

Once someone figures our a way to get the fuck out of here, I would like to know. My name is Levi.

[Surprised, Armin takes out his phone when he hears that voice. It's less than a month since he'd spoken to the man, but he hadn't expected to see him again so soon.

He turns on the video and immediately salutes.]

Captain Levi, sir!

[ u know what a girl does, when she needs a lot of distractions? Checks this network thing as often as possible, she should get used to using her device too anyway.

The problem is mostly that she doesn't ... exactly... feel very good about going to talk to people there. She should, but -- well, she's only been here for a few days. So mostly she keeps looking at that network, trying to say something to people there because it'd be great distraction and getting to know people is great.

Then she sees this...]

Petra just ...stares at his post for a long while. She's awake, right? This is as real as things are here, right? He sure sounds like Levi, looks like Levi and even says his name is Levi.

Umm, what the fuck is she supposed to say to this? "Hi."?? What if he's from the future and knows what happened to her? Well, then he's probably going to be fucking weirded out by this whole hi dead people can be alive here miracle shit, but also glad to see her?? What if he's from the past and doesn't even remember her?? Okay, so he looks the same age as he is back where she's from and he's wearing -- wait, where is his 3D? Not the most important question here, but -- really, what can she even say to this? "Captain Levi" always works, but--

No. She's not going to say anything via some stupid tiny screen, where even she can't believe her eyes of Levi being right there. She knows where he is, should be anyway if he's still where people arrive.

So after staring at him for another long while -- because wow, hi you are still there right and that video is not disappearing or she's not waking up from some dream -- Petra is going to make some new fucking record of how fast she can put her 3DMG on before she rushes out the door to get there as soon as possible. No explanations to anyone, but it's seriously easy to figure out why she'd rush out like that.

Maybe Mikasa should start naming more and more people, who need to show up. It clearly works!]

[There were times when Zelos was in a bad mood, and then some moody new arrival turns up over the comms just waiting to be trolled to make him feel better. This was one of those times.

Sorry if you were expecting someone helpful, Levi.]

Nope~ We're all stuck here. Haven't bothered looking for a way out, though, that's way too much effort.

[It takes a while to get there from Mikasa's and Eren's apartment, maybe someone will have time to explain the weird time shit to him while she's still on the way. Well, if no one gets to that before she gets there, then -- well, then he's just going to get the explanation from her if he's from another point in time. Once she gets there, she starts looking for him.

Honestly Petra still has no idea what to even say to him. What do you say to the man, who you devoted your whole life to? When you see him again after thinking for days, that you would never see him again?? She'll figure it out! Somehow. She'll just say -- something. Whatever works, right? Or she can just be quiet, that works too. First she kind of needs to find him. He can't be far, right? Sorry, it's still a new place for her too and Levi is too short to be found in a few seconds. But she's rushing. He is still here, somewhere, right?

The girl takes a deep breath. Emotional control. No raging emotions, no panic. It's not like he'd disappear right aw--

Petra stops on her tracks when she sees him. There. Alive. Here. Fortunately not looking her way, so she can walk as close as she can get without him noticing her. Why does she want to approach like that? Don't ask, she doesn't even know. He seems as unapproachable as ever but that's how he always looks.

Right, okay, time to figure out something to say once she's close enough and still good at not making him pay attention to her, not yet. Something that's not just "Hi, captain Levi." even if that would work too. She's thinking back to what he says on that video. Way out? No, Levi, please please please don't even think of a way out -- Fine, okay, better think of that something to say before she's going to get a break down from well, everything today. She's ecstatic to see him, she knows well this is the only place where she can even see him again and that's the really sad part of it. Please just -- don't go away from her ~~again~~.

She takes a deep breath somewhere near his right side.]

Sir, I don't know about a way out of here... but then again, captain Levi, I was hoping you'd stay here -- at least for a while, even if it's kind of a very selfish wish.

["Hello." Her so called good emotional control is about to fly the fuck out of the window right now, so excuse her if that smile is like half-sad and excuse her even more for looking like she's about to cry soon. Help?]

[There's a voice and face he recognized. It's not like Levi had talked with Armin a lot, but he did remember the faces of other survey corps members pretty well.]

Arlert. So they got to you as well.

[Levi was thinking about his next course of action after making the video-whatever thing. The only thing was probably exploring the place and finding a place to sleep, in case he really needed to stay here for longer than necessary. It's not like he would find a way out magically right away.

Just as he was about to start leaving, he hearts a voice he'd recognize anywhere from behind him. His body felt stiff and he couldn't more for a while. Once he did, he turned around to see the person the voice belonged to.]

Petra?

[How was she standing there? Instinct told him she might be someone pretending to be her, but when he looked at her eyes, he believed in that feeling less and more to the fact that some kind of a miracle had occurred. She was standing there. She was breathing. Looking at him.

Petra's father's words rang through Levi's head, giving him more confidence over that fact that this had to be her. Those eyes, devoted to the person in front of her. Who could fake that? She was really there.

She was also almost crying. Without saying anything, Levi closed the distance and wrapped his arms around Petra. It wasn't like him to show this much affection, really, but seeing someone he thought he'd never see again... he needed to feel that she really was there.

Alive. She was alive. Breathing in his arms.

Still, he had no idea how this was possible, but he had a feeling he would learn the answer in time. For now, Petra was what mattered.]

[Wow. Much respect. So grateful.]

So practically all you wanted to say was that you're fucking useless.

Yes, s-sir. Eren, Mikasa, Jean, Marco, and Petra are also here.

[He can explain that this is not the first time he's been kidnapped to a different world later - he can tell from context that Levi probably doesn't have his memories from his time as a Traveler, though it's something he want to confirm. Later, however. For now, there were more important things.]

As far as we k-know, there's no way out. Eren and Mikasa have been here for five months, Marco and Jean arrived about a week ago, I th-think, and Peta and I arrived just a few days ago.

[He appreciated that Armin took the time to tell him who were here. Really, he's glad to have information like that right away. But..]

[Of course, Armin could always be talking about someone else who's name is Petra or someone with a very similar name, but it's a touchy subject, okay.]

[Armin looks genuinely confused, not understand the comment or its implications right away.]

[Armin's eyes widen as Levi glares, almost afraid - he's never felt the captain's anger directed at him before. He bites his lip, still confused and uncertain, now wary of saying the wrong thing, though he's not sure what that might be.

He swallows hard, starting to realize what must have happened - but his instinctive horror at finding out about Petra's death, and all the memories that invokes, overwhelms him such that he can't quite process everything. Once he gets past the fact of her death, there's an obvious solution to the problem of the misunderstanding with Levi - but it was just so unexpected that he couldn't handle it instantly.]

Suddenly just closing the distance for that reason is ... being even more amazing than ever, but it's not going to make her any less emotional of seeing you here, dear sir. In fact, it just makes her to actually have that fucking break down. That's not a bad thing, not really, she's probably kind of needed it since her arrival.

Sorry, she's been really bad with keeping up with emotional control ever since her life went to hell back home.

Still, she's done something right in her relationship of becoming a close friend with him, when that's the first thing he does!! Sure, it's not the first hug she gets from him (what? there were off-screen hugs in the series, as far as headcanon here goes) but -- she really didn't expect to ever see him again, so she expected moments like this even less than that.

Yeah, she's alive. Breathing and alive and those eyes sure looked at him with the same devotion as ever. She'd fucking punch anyone for faking to be her in front of you.

Petra returns the hug, of course. Unlike Levi, she's a very affectionate and hugs + other physical contact loving person -- she could hug people all the time, really. Her hug is tight, she's clinging a lot even. Wow, she'd say she's super sorry for this hug and this break down thing, but well, she's not so sorry for it actually.

Still, that hug from him is pretty much what she needs to calm down too, so please just -- stay there for a while, so she can collect herself again. Wow okay, super sorry sir, she'd really like to be good at not letting her raging emotions get to her, but well --- weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeell, she can't exactly help it considering the point she's from. Or because of you, or everything there is to that.]

... Sorry... [for dying, because yes she's sorry for it and also sorry for the break down, though she hasn't calmed down from it yet.]

What else could I possible mean? I don't know where your fucking head was at that time, but you should have seen the aftermath.

[The conclusion from Petra's reaction was that she must have experienced the battle against the Female Titan. Why else would she be this shaken up just because Levi had come to this place?

No words escaped through his mouth. He felt that words like "It's okay" wouldn't be effective, so instead he held the girl a bit closer, to imply that she could be there as long as she needed to. It's not like Levi would push her away.

Levi had thought it was a sick joke that Armin had come up with. A delusion that he believed in, after forgetting things that happened back home. Yet it was all very real. So very real. He'd have to apologize to that guy later. Not that he was good with those.

Well, that would come later. First he needed to take care of Petra and... see what to do from here. Her "selfish" wish. He would grant her it.]

[She's sure he can make that conclusion, yeah. She's not sure if it's easy to say that it's happened recently, but that doesn't really matter. Petra could tell him later. But she's also so, so happy and relieved to see him, there's that too. And that she just can't have break downs in front of 104s - or she could, but she'd feel bad for being older and having one. Girl is dumb sometimes.

Levi, you should know by now, that any words from you are usually effective with her to some extent at least. Whether it's just your Intuition or another word whenever... But then again, making the hug tighter works even better maybe. Since that's also an okay from him to do it, Petra holds him tighter too. It's still hard to believe for her too, that Levi is really there, but -- well, there he really is; the man, who she's going to devote herself/her life again and who she adores like he's the most amazing and most important person walking on Earth. Not that knows it. ( ummmmm, girl, your father kind of told her -- some of that at least. )

Petra calms down, eventually. There's no way she wouldn't when she is in his company. What did you do to get someone devote herself to you this much, Levi? We just don't know. Still not letting go of him though. Can't blame the girl, when she considers you the safest person anywhere. Sorry, stay there for a while longer, at least she's mostly calm now. She swallows hard.]

That fucker was just about to ...kick. But then I found myself here seconds before it happened, about four days ago.
