[ Horrible things that happen to Chiyo Sakura on a daily basis: things that aren't this. 'This' referring to arriving in a whole different world. It's definitely an annoyance and it's even worse that she's somewhat soaked from head to toe.

Taking off her shoes when she gets to drier land, she takes off her completely drenched shoes and socks, squeezing the water out of her clothes as she lets out a dry, lethargic sigh. If anybody sees her, she can be seen taking off her school uniform's jacket as she wanders around, trying to see if anybody is out and about...

Maybe she can get some help! (Or you know, perhaps get completely screwed over.) ]

[ nozaki shows up just a few minutes later. he bends over, hands on his knees as he's catching his breath. in one swift motion, he takes off his school jacket, and puts it around her. he keeps her wrapped in the jacket, picking her up with both of his arms around her as he starts to carry her back to Mayu's ]

Mayu said something about people getting hypothermia. We'll be there soon so you can dry off properly.

Uwah...!

[ She's definitely surprised as he wraps his jacket around her, her face turning a bright red when she is picked up. ]

N-Nozaki-kun...! [ Definitely can't speak words right now. ]

[ he doesn't reply verbally, just raises a brow. like what? you wanted to be cold??

the walk probably seems a lot longer for Chiyo just because she's being carried by Nozaki the whole way there. once they're at Mayu's home though, he opens the door and sets her down on the carpet ]

I think Mayu is out right now... His clothes might fit you the best if you want to change and have your clothes dry.

[ It's nice that it's a carpet, but lying on the floor is kind of... awkward. Um. ]

Do you know where his clothes are? [ She doesn't want to be soaked for too long, tbh. ]

They're in his room. I'll get you a pair out. [ he starts to walk towards the room... then there's a long pause ]

Do you want some of his boxers too? I think he might have some briefs. [ I AM SO SORRY CHIYO. WHY DO YOU LIKE HIM AGAIN? he's going to grab the lightest color shirt he can find (which is probably blue) and some regular sports-looking shorts. hopefully she can pull the strings tight enough that the shorts won't fall off ]

I'll close the door so you can change.

[ INTERNALLY SCREAMING ]

N-... No! I don't need his boxers! Or briefs! [ Why does she love him again? Oh, wait, there's a lot of other reasons. But she'll grow rather flustered if someone walks in on her while she changes in the living room... ] W-Where's the bathroom?

[ Because at least she can lock the bathroom door, right? WHY IS EVERYONE SHE KNOWS HERE A GUY. JUST WHY. ]

Oh, it's off to the side. The door is open. There should be some hangers still in there from when I put my clothes up to dry.

[ he'll go to sit on the couch now, just waiting for her to come back. he might even have some tea waiting for her. yeah, he will. he doesn't want her sick. HE NEEDS HER NOW THAT SHE'S HERE ]

Okay, I'll just close the door and lock it, then.

[ Which she's totally going to do as she closes the door and changes. Though she might be taking a while because he said there were clothes in there. That were his.

Just going to casually fangirl over that a little bit. ]

[ yep! it's the rest of his school uniform besides his jacket. he's waiting for them all to dry too ]

[ She'll be fawning over his uniform for a little bit (albeit quietly so Nozaki can't hear her going "kyaaaaa") as she changes. The shirt's a little oversized for her, but she'll get new clothes eventually.

She'll probably have to get a job, too... But when she's done changing for the most part, she'll open the door a little bit, awkwardly inspecting the area as if unsure if it's okay to come out before actually walking out-- and slipping because it's still kind of wet

SHE DONE GOOFED. ]

[ just wait for the money train to start. he'll give her money to go get all the frilly outfits she could ask for.

Nozaki hears that and just about drops his cup of tea. was that her? did she slip and knock herself out?! he gets up in a panic to go over to her ] Sakura!

[ How long will that take, though, she wonders.

She's not knocked out, thank goodness, but she did fall on her butt. ]

I-- I'm okay...

[ ...probably like a week. TRUST IN HIM, CHIYO ]

Are you hurt? Are you sure? [ DON'T DO THAT. HE WILL HAVE A HEARTATTACK. it's bad enough that he's in a new place... with new food. oh god, he'll probably never eat again ]

Okay, good. I don't know where a doctor is around here... Mikoshiba might know already.

[ he went back over to the couch, retrieving the warm tea he had made for her. he's even got a blanket ready. CHIYO YOU HAVE TO LIVE AND BE HEALTHY ] I don't know what kind of tea you like, but it's warm. Mayu didn't have a lot of options.

[ Poor, poor, Mikorin.. having Nozaki-kun think that he already knows where a doctor is. She takes a breath as she takes the tea, smiling brightly. He's doing this aaaall for her, so she's rather pleased. ]

It's okay, Nozaki-kun. Don't worry about it!

Okay. [ he won't worry. HE WON'T. he'll sit down back on the couch, sipping at his own tea. he looks back at her, pointing with his free hand to the spot beside him. COME SIT! ]
