Be not so sorry for what you've done. . .
WHO: OPEN to anyone!
WHAT: Blake's healing after being trapped in a crystal but after she felt herself die. She's a little out of it with lost memories of her days in the White Fang.
WHERE: Hospital
WHEN: Feb. 14th, Happy Valentine's Day.
WARNINGS: Mentions of death, pain and potential sad? I'll update as needed.
The constant sound of beeping was not only annoying but at the same time it was...nice. One of her last memories was hearing her heart slowly stop when Torchwick shot her with that lightening bolt. Where he acquired such abilities must of been because of that creepy place that had her crystallized and when she woke from that death like slumber, she was greeted by her friend and teammate. She had to somehow make it up to Yang for causing so much trouble.
Which made her thoughts go to...Weiss. Oh good heavens, what if Torchwick got her as well? That made her gasp and sit up in the bed only to clutch her chest with a wince. Under her robe were the markings of scarred flesh from where the bolt had hit her and stopped her heart.
Swallowing the pain, Blake reached meekly to her IV and tugged on it until it freed itself from her. She had to make sure her teammates, Sun and Neptune were alright and she had no idea how long she had been in that bed.

"I seem to have come at a poor time, Miss Belladonna. I did not realize you were being discharged," he said, motioning to the now disconnected IV.

With a small sigh of relief, she leaned back against the bed. She hoped her aura would hurry up and get this feeling away from her of helplessness. Her eyes also widened when she felt the pressure on her head gone and felt up her hairline to feel her ears without her bow.
Slumping her shoulders in defeat, she glanced back at their Headmaster. "I don't...I didn't know where I was or why I was hooked to this..thing. Not exactly a fan of small spaced rooms with little knowledge of where I am." She groaned, rubbing her forehead.
"Are we...back home or-? Was that all a dream?"
no subject
"No, we are still in Genessia, Miss Belladonna, and... from what I've been able to piece together, you've been through quite the ordeal."
He took a package of gauze from the cupboard before moving a chair closer to the bed and switching the gauze for his cup of coffee. "I'm assuming the IV was a pain killer of sorts. How are you feeling?"
no subject
"That's a mild way of putting it..." She mused quietly with her eyes gazing down. How do you begin to even describe or tell someone what it was like to die? Or how it felt in those last moments...
Looking back up at him, she held out her arm. "I guess..? I would of thought my aura would of taken care of something small like this but...I guess now?"
no subject
"Your aura will likely take some time to recover. Considering the sheer number of people who emerged from the tower at the same time as you, I can only imagine what was going on. However, I cannot imagine it was anything pleasant, and it does offer me some comfort you don't seem to remember that."
He sips at his coffee, glancing down at the IV site for a moment. "I know you're not going to want to hear this, but I have to insist that you stay here for at least another day or so. You need rest to recover from your ordeal."

She didn't turn up for a few minutes though, walking in with a bowl of ice cream she'd swiped from the hospital cafeteria, and blinking in surprise, spoon halfway to her mouth, when she saw her partner was sitting up.
"Blake!" She grinned widely. "Finally decided to wake up, huh?"

Throwing off the blanket, she tried to get out of her bed only to see Yang's jacket on the chair beside her bed. Reaching out to try and hobble to it, she's met with her friend rounding the corner and proclaiming her name.
"Y-aa--..Yang?" She asked while almost slipping but fell against the chair. "W-Where are we? Did we...are we back home or--?"
no subject
She wasn't entirely sure what had happened before Blake had wound up in that crystal, but she knew it had been bad.
"Here." And her bowl of ice cream was offered out because she'd feel like a jerk eating it now.
no subject
Holding up her hand, she shook her head. "I'm alright..I don't think my stomach's ready for something like that." Carefully, she urged Yang's hand back towards her. "You eat it. Enjoy it for both of us."
Leaning back against the bed in a slump, she sighed and glanced up at the ceiling. "So...what happened?"
no subject
"Alright," she didn't exactly argue with taking her ice cream back, grinning.
"Not sure. Weiss said you'd been kidnapped, pointed me in the right direction. I got there after the fighting though, broke you out, came here." Casual shrug.
"Pretty basic."

She'd been told it was possible to come back from the dead in this place, but she'd never witnessed it. Seeing Blake when she stepped into the room with a small gift bag in her hand sent a rush of relief and disbelief over her. It barely felt real.
"I was going to get you flowers, but most of them are overpriced right now because of the last minute holiday sales, but I got you a book that came out while we were gone and a bag of a candy called Swedish fish. I don't think they have anything to do with fish besides the shape, though."

Tossing it aside with cat ears folding back in annoyance, Blake tried to push herself up out of her bed only to realize her legs were shaking when she tried to stand. What a helpless and annoying feeling...
When someone entered, she grabbed a hold of the bed bar, almost ready to flip it over her, somehow, if it were another dangerous person. But when she saw that white hair she automatically felt her heart sink as well as her body back against the bed.
"Holiday? ...What-? Where are we? I mean--" She rubbed her forehead, still in a bit of a daze. "Are we home or are we still in that odd world?"
no subject
Weiss was nothing if not straightforward, even if Blake was confused. She came closer, setting the little bag on the table next to the bed.
"I can see the blood on your arm, which means your Aura isn't back up yet so you need to stay here until it is. The medicine helps until you're not dehydrated and well enough that your Aura will wake up. You'll probably be out by the end of the day. And you should know that Ruby and Zuko made sure to hurt him."
The last part she added partly as a confirmation about what had happened, but it told Blake more than that if she was paying attention. Ruby and Zuko had to do it, so Weiss hadn't been able to. The other part was that Weiss was sure she wasn't the only one who took some satisfaction in Roman being injured.

"I don't now why it's not working or..building up faster." Frowning, she rubbed her arm before setting the blanket over it to help cover the blood up just a bit. Better than staring at it trickle along her skin.
Glancing back at her teammate she tilted her head. "Him?..." She held her hand to her head while drawing back memories before everything went dark. "All I remember was a light..the burning..." Lowering her hand, she tugged on her hospital gown and looked down to see the spiral patterns of an abstract sun-like-scar over her heart. That's right...
"Torchwick..." She said with nothing but utter hate. Gold eyes glanced back to Weiss, searching her features as if it would tell her the truth but in the end, there was nothing but more questions.
"What happened?"
no subject
Weiss was trying very hard to sound like she didn't care what had happened. She'd been trying pretty much since she got back because it wasn't something that she wanted to deal with. Showing weakness wasn't something Schnees did if they had the option. The only people she was really letting take care of her were Zuko and Ruby, really, and even then she wasn't listening very well when she decided she had things to do.
"He hit you with lightning, I watched you die, and instead of grabbing you and running and trying to get to a healer like I should have, I tried to kill him. He captured me, I don't know what happened to you after that but I heard a name from one of Torchwick's henchmen and I... think I told Yang. I spent a few hours in the hospital too, even though I didn't die, but I was barely conscious, so I don't know exactly what I said, but she found you. I would've come with but-"
Weiss wasn't even sure she knew how to explain that she's pretty sure she would've just put Yang in danger if she went. She wasn't going to be a liability again.
"I'm sorry, Blake."

As a nurse I cringe every time someone pulls out their IV it is SO MESSY X_X;
True to form, he's brought a small tin of tea, a blend that's supposed to help with healing. He knocks quietly on the door before stepping in.
Standing in the doorway, he sees that she's tugged out the IV line, and his eyes widen. "M...Miss Belladonna! That--it's bleeding!"
The tin is abandoned at the foot of her bed as he scurries to the paper towel dispenser, quickly grabbing a fistful and hurrying over to Blake.
IT IS.;A; I went with mama who does home hospice and so many tried to pull theirs and catheters out.
Turning her head, she blinked and held out her hand for the paper towels with a faint nod of thanks. "I-- My aura shouldn't be allowing this. We don't usually bleed at all..." She said quietly and looked back at her arm, covering it with the paper towel.
Holding her palm to her forehead, she glanced back at Luke. "How did I get here?"
Please to not pull those out. Combo of ouch and very messy
"I'm not sure...I was visiting Koishi, and I heard somebody say you were here too so I asked the nurse at the front desk and she told me what room yours was."
His eyes flick to the paper towel and then back away. "Oh--m-maybe we need the nurse to look at your arm, to make sure it doesn't bleed too much." He pauses. "We probably do. I should go ask her what to do--"
Sorry Blake, there are two factors at play. The biggest of course is his worry about her; the other is that he's pretty scared of blood himself. Not exactly a winning combination in this situation. Even still, he doesn't move, instead looking to the door and back to Blake, uncertain if he really ought to leave her alone.
yeah ;A;
"Thank you.. I'm sure I'll be okay." She assured while tucking her arm a little closer to her to spare him the sight of blood. "My aura should hopefully return to normal soon. It'll be like nothing happened." To her arm at least; the scar on her chest was certainly a different story.
"Thank you for coming to visit, too. I honestly wasn't sure if I was back at Beacon or if I was still in Genessia."
Luke would like to make Blake feel better
Luke stands just slightly on tiptoes to keep one hand on her arm with pressure, though his eyes remain on the other side of the room.
"You're welcome." He pauses, then adding: "if I'd known you were here sooner I would have come then!"
When he's sure--or at least convinced anyway--that her arm is okay, he goes to wash his hands and then takes the tin from the foof of her bed.
"I brought tea. It isn't the best tasting sort, but it's supposed to help you get better so I thought it would be nice." A pause. "It's kind of bitter, really--but I promise it does help! At least, the Professor says it helps."
Luke you precious babu ;w;
Late tag is so incredibly late X_X;;;;

He moved back over toward the chair that he had placed near her bedside. “And don’t even think about leaving until the doctor clears you.” He knew well how stubborn Blake could be, and he was certain that her being bedridden in a hospital probably wasn’t going to sit well with her. At least not well enough to keep her there.

Feeling her legs start to quiver, she shook her head and tried to lean up further on her bed. "My aura should be working soon... I just can't lay here and do nothing." She frowned and glanced down at the little bits of blood coming out.
"H...How long have I been here?"

With a small wince, she rubbed the spot over her heart only to tug the gown down to see the results of being shot with a bolt of lightening. A sort of abstract sun fanning outwards with scarred skin. Only then does she release another sigh.
"I don't now what happened after... Torchwick- he had some kind of magic. The electricity with water must of depleted my aura..but- I died." Raising her head, she looked over at him. "I felt myself die."

Very late tag
It was about that time that Ruby returned that Blake was awake and tugging at her IV. Setting her drink on the closest surface, she hurried over to her.]
Blake! You're awake! You need to rest! Everything is okay now!
[Trying to get her back in the bed. Maybe okay wasn't the best word to use, but she doubted anything else would be useful right now.]
