[Video]
[When the video feed turns on, a young woman is leaning in close to the camera, perplexed.]
Hey, hey--what's going on here? I'm supposed to be at practice right now.
[Kashima leans back from the camera, crossing her arms with a sigh. Frankly, she looks more frustrated than anything else.]
I promised senpai I'd be on time today.
[Your phone definitely does not have any answers for you, Kashima.] If I can't do anything, then...
[The smile she flashes could actually be causing sparkles to appear, but it could be a trick of the eye. Maybe.] If I'm here with you all anyway, then I should at least properly introduce myself! I'm Kashima Yuu!

I'm here anyway. Being upset about it isn't going to change anything.
video;
That certainly is one way of thinking about it.
Re: video;
I hope that senpai is all right at home though...who else will help him be the heroine if I'm not there?
[Why are you saying that with such a straight face?]
video;
[Darklaw frowns. This sparkling thing is utterly distracting but she won't say that.]
Re: video;
[Why are you so happy while saying that? At least the sparkles stopped, replaced with an expression that could pass for serious.
Probably.]
He won't admit that's what he wants. [She pauses, head tilted in thought.] He has a manga all marked up. Mikoshiba mentioned that people are supposed to feel for the heroine. So--
[Kashima smiles. At least she's enthusiastic and means well. That has to count for something, right?] I want to make that happen for senpai!
Re: video;
There are two things I don't understand--what in the world is a manga and what does the title 'senpai' even mean?
[Such terms don't exist in the Middle Ages, after all.]
video; tbh I almost never use honorifics when I tag and this is why X_x;;
Manga is a sort of story, with pictures. A lot of people think they're just for kids, but a lot of times they have really involved stories. I saw senpai reading this one called 'Let's Love!', and he had all the pages marked up and everything.
[She tilts her head.] Senpai...is...he's my senior in drama club. It's kind of a term of respect.
video; /pats
[So he was an artist? Of some kind.]
You do seem to respect him a great deal.
<small>[So he was an artist? Of some kind.]</small>
You do seem to respect him a great deal. <small[Even if this senpai seemed really odd.]</small>
video;
[That is really a huge beaming grin, but at least she's stopped sparkling.]
video;
[Okay, now she's interested since the sparkles are gone.]
video; Late tag is very late
[She hums her agreement, smiling brightly.] He's amazing. I wish I got to watch him act more, but he doesn't take on as many roles now as he did before.
video;
[Though she has to ask,] Exactly how do you sparkle like that?
video;
[Beam.]
What do you mean, sparkle? [Darklaw it is so better not to ask these sorts of questions. She tilts her head, genuinely perplexed.] Unless you mean my sparkling smile, princess!
[By the way, you should probably tell her never to call you that ever again, ironically or not--she uses it just the same in casual conversation.]
video;
[... She's distracted by that smile. Wait. No. She can't let this go on--this girl has to be about Espella's age, right? She should just stop this nonsense right now.]
...Yes, I mean your smile.
video;
I love Hori-chan-senpai! Of course I admire him.
video;
Yes. Of course.
Re: video;
Anyway, Princess, you still haven't told me your name. It's nice to meet you just the same!
