Dragons, a labyrinth... what sort of nonsense is going to happen next? Bezella herself?

I know there are the GUardians but isn't there some sort of general enforcement in these cities?

Careful what you wish for; the world of Genessia appears to have a twisted sense of humor.

A couple of the Guardians are new, and may not have had the opportunity to procure a proper force as of yet. But I can confirm that Nova City does. Unfortunately they do not seem to be trained for these much stranger occurances.

Bezella is the Great Witch, the source of all evil in my home of Labryinthia. Her arrival wouldn't be 'good' but seeing as she's been hiding from the shadows for so many years, her being in the open would finally give someone the chance to end her reign of terror for once and all.

Even if there were, I doubt they would be able to handle superhuman threats or supernatural beings.

That is, of course, if they had no training.

Even with training, against some supernatural or superpower beings, they would still be nothing.

It would be worse to do nothing.

I guess I've always seen the Guardians and their Deputies as police officers. It probably isn't exactly the same though, is it?

I actually don't know. I guess I just assumed the Guardians were what would be considered police officers around here. U-Unless those that go after the bounty count.

I won't deny that I am a relative newcomer to this place but it seems that if there was some sort of volunteer force, perhaps there wouldn't be so much trouble?

I don't think there is as much crime as there was back where I was from for example. But I guess if people were willing to do something like that, no one would complain.

Do you know of the Fayren Guardian? Seeing as that's the city I live in, that's the one I would have to deal with. I hear she's garnered quite a reputation.

But things happening out of no where is what makes this place fun sometimes.

Life is full of unexpected things but these things are undoubtedly dangerous.

Even dangerous not much we can do to stop something like that but to trust those who are meant to protect the city.

Wouldn't it be more helpful to them if the common folk tried to do work with them rather than stand around like sheep? I'm not suggesting rebelling against the Guardians.

If I'm not mistaken, they Guardians are working on it in both locations those things have been a problem. I don't know if you've been living in a strange reality or not before this place, but just having law enforcement of some kind doesn't make problems just disappear.

I'm not trying to downplay their contributions. I merely think that it may be easier to solve problems if there was more people contributing to solving them.

I'm aware of that, which I know at least Fayren may be working on and I believe Nova City may already have a team for.
