First Concert - [video/action around Genessia City]
[ It's not the first time he's woken up somewhere he thought he shouldn't be, but it is the first time he was just left alone to walk around freely. Weirdly enough, that makes it more disorienting than the other time. His eye doesn't hurt and it should, it hasn't stopped for years... but there's nothing. There is absolutely nothing other than what feels like freedom and then again isn't. It's a farce, a mockery. 'You are free, you are safe' is what this place seems to want to tell him, yet he's trapped. It's dishonest and disgusting.
Also large unfamiliar in terms of get-up and technology, which is just another distractor. Kohaku feels out of place walking the streets and it makes him feel on edge. He keeps walking for hours just to avoid sitting and thinking, but soon enough has to acknowledge that there is nowhere he has to go. Nobody is here with him to boss him around and in a world seemingly without zombies, an anti-zombie musician is out of a job. He's been tossed away from everything he loathed but also everything that gave him purpose. It's that wretched feeling of aimlessness that finally gets him to pick up his videophone and fiddle with the commands until he gets it. It's dark out when he makes his broadcast, just to be doing something other than shoving around people on sidewalks. ]
So this is it then? Settling down in a nice little utopia pretending it's not a prison? This place gives me the creeps.
[ And now he's talking to... some thing. He regrets it instantly, feeling only like he's already adapting. He makes a disgusted 'ugh'-noise and goes to plant his hand over the camera and shut off the video without any real goodbye. Arriving in style? Going great. Yeah no.
Sitting on a wall in Garden Park, violin case by his side, and plays with a knife absentmindedly. He imagined it'd feel better to get away from the orchestra. It doesn't. ]

You play?
no subject
[ Oh right, the violin, not the knife. ]
What else did you think it was for? Decoration?
[ .... don't mind the rudeness, he's always like this. ]
no subject
Nope, looks like a violin case to me!
[He smiles cheerfully.]
I've been wondering if other musicians existed around here! Hey do you know obscure instruments?
no subject
I would hope so? Never played anything but violin but I know my shit with music in general.

[Demyx smiles and summons a very large sitar. Certainly, it's his weapon, but more importantly it's how he expresses himself through music.]
no subject
Pleasure to meet you. [ Directed at the instrument - he would not go along with this with other objects, but instruments. Music. ]
no subject
First person not to ask me what it is.
[It's in his hands, he's already playing a pleasant tune. He knows how to play his sitar like the back of his hand.]
I've been playing a lot here, for fun.

[She wouldn't call it a prison... But then again it's a much bigger prison.]
Though why does it creep you out?
video;
Other cities you also can't leave.
[ Okay, a very big prison. ]
And why wouldn't it?! There's everything off about some place just randomly sucking you in and then pretending to be all harmless, wanting you to settle down... The way it's playing nice doesn't match the situation at all.
video;
[She taps a finger lightly on her chin for a moment.]
It's not pretending to be harmless. I'm not even saying it is. It has it's dangerous moments every so often. But other than that it can be peaceful.
video;
[ He's grumpy because he comes from a world with constant danger. ]

[ His house in his world is a car and they recently crashed it...... Well, it's repaired now but oh well. ]

[ Shrugs. HE MAY HAVE KICKED A FEW PEOPLE ALREADY. But more pressingly than that, hey, this is the girl who made the intro video. ]
There's noone to rage against though right now, is there? You seem like you know your shit when it comes to this place and it's still a 'whoever'.
video;
[ She doesn't know what kind of person he is, but that's what she's come to need as her philosophy- though she wouldn't try to kill people normally, she knows that some people view that as justice. And that kind of justice would just cause things to escalate here, whereas a swift boot to a prison cage would make them much more likely to stay out of trouble. ]
I make a point to be as knowledgeable as I can be, but yes. If the person or people who brought us here are watching, they're likely doing it from outside the area that we presently have access to.
video;
Wait, wait, hold up.
They come back. [ And honestly that isn't in the slightest surprising, except his eye doesn't hurt. ] In what condition?
video;
They're not zombies, if that's what you're implying. This isn't some B-movie. Apparently they have to sacrifice an important memory to come back, but it works. [ There are other things that can be given up, but she hasn't spoken to anyone who's given up anything besides a memory.. ]
video;
Not sure what you're saying by B-movie, other than that you guys seriously never had problems with the undead before? The fucking disgusting kind that is after human flesh and only spouts unimportant gibberish?
[ People come back sane in other words. This Kohaku has yet to witness the resurrected Berthie so this is pretty revolutionary. ]
And you're sure they're not just kind of remote controlled, programmed to seem like their old selves?

[ Lots of problems. Yui just isn't the type to fight so much as she is to try to work within the situation at hand in hopes of getting to go home soon..
She offers a kind smile. ]
But it isn't too bad, besides that.
video;
[ God, why is everyone getting on his nerves about 'oh but it can be dangerous' now? He didn't ask for this.
Except he totally did, by posting this publicly. Impulse choices are baaad.]'Not too bad' still seems like a fucking mild judgement for random purposeless kidnapping.
