Lastly came Winter cloathed all in frize
[There appears to be fog or steam rising up around the woman as she appears on screen, in reality it's because behind her is a field of ice leftover from when she froze the water coming out of the pod so she could walk across it without getting wet. Her hair is down, all adding the the abnormal lack of color and making the dark lips and shifting colors in her eyes even more obvious. Her eyes are only sort of in the direction of the screen because she is holding the brochure in her other hand, flipping it over to see if there is any more explanation for whatever god had the audacity to pull her away from what she was supposed to be. And only a god would have that ability because there was no way any humans even in large numbers could have managed the task against her will.]This is unacceptable.
[Gaze lifting from the device in her hand to the surrounding city the Queen looks... annoyed. Which isn't the best mood to have her in but isn't all that uncommon either.] Handmaiden. [Now that sounds more like a demand than a randomly thrown out word. And it is. She's calling for the Leanansídhe and is even more annoyed when the woman does not appear. She'd call for her Knight if she thought he wouldn't run the other direction just to be difficult, he generally had to be suborned into service. Her eyes narrow as she steps out onto a street with passing people and they barely seem to pay her any mind which is not common at all.] Creatures of this demesne, explain.
[And that's about the time things start going frosty all around her, it even crackles into the edges of the screen, icing up trees behind her and something cracks as it freezes so quickly then explodes in a shower of ice shards and wood. One of the lower branches of a tree off to her left side.]

[Forgive her... She's not exactly the sharpest knife in the crayon box.] </>
Are they creatures? I always thought that people were people, and creatures were other things. Y'know, like monsters and stuff.
[Her head tilts just a bit, the motion not human at all.] It was my understanding that humans had books in which they might derive such meanings. [That's right she's telling you to find a dictionary.]
...We do? What's it called? I'll look into it sometime.
Perhaps you should ask your peers.
[There's a brief pause.]
Oh right, you just got here, didn't you? do you need any help getting yourself set up?
I-I could help you find a place you might like?
[The sidhe purses her lips and frowns.] For the moment it might be useful.
Just what are your duties anyways?
[Oh hey, she wants to go find a place, that'll get a smile out of Ruby.]
Great, are you at the Bay still? I'll come and get you.
I am outside though I have not traveled far.
Half of weather in the entire world!? Wow... You must be like crazy important where you're from.
Who controls the other half?
[Don't worry Mab, it's clear she's on the move while she's asking you all these questions.]
I'll be there in a jiffy, just stay where you are.
[The sidhe pauses for a moment in contemplation of the meaning of her sentence and finally decides to respond with,] Yes. Crazy.
My counterpart Titania controls Summer.
Oh and what's she like?
[It doesn't take Ruby took long to get to the Bay from where she is now. Mab will likely see a girl in a red hood approaching from the distance.]
Hmm.
She is my opposite.
[Mab sees the red and stands perfectly, inhumanly still as the girl approaches. Her feline eyes cool and focused. If Ruby can feel power she's got it rolling off of her. Unchecked though the ice around her is starting to melt at least.]
[action]
Ruby unfortunately can't sense any sort of energy, however, the ice around her reminds her a little of her sisters aura, except opposite because Yang's aura is fiery not icy.]
Oooooh so cool...
[Head in the game Ruby, stop focusing on the ice powers.
She'll casually approach Mab, she doesn't seem too bothered by her inhuman stillness.]
Uhm. Mab, right? Ready to go?
[action]
[Her focus sharpens as the girl uses her name. A name that can be used to summon her as well. Her Knight may have some damage control to do eventually.]
[The Winter Queen is tall, nearly six feet though she can appear any size she'd like, she looks down at the girl and dips her head once in acknowledgement before stepping forward, hands innocuously at her sides.] Indeed. I am. [Both Mab and ready to go.]
[action]
Right, well I guess since you're a queen you'll want to be in the nicest building, right? I'll show you that one first!
[And she's already starting to lead the way into the city, but she stops short for a second. She completely forgot to introduce herself. She'll turn to Mab and smile sweetly.]
Oh right! My names Ruby Rose, but you can just call me Ruby.
[And she's back to leading the way.]
[action]
That sounds agreeable. It is a pleasure to meet you, Ruby Rose.
[Especially since Mab is careful to get the pronunciation perfect.]

It's nice to meet you too!
Trust me, you'll love it, this place has a great view and a pool!

A pool? [She has been swimming before but it is rare. And so far in the past she can barely remember it. She has never had any desire to swim for leisure.]
We will see.
no subject
Yeah, it's one of the reasons I thought it would be cool to live there, but I'm not sure if I'd actually use it anymore.
[There was this whole thing where she got kidnapped and nearly drowned, it has her rethinking the whole swimming thing.]
Yep, I guess we will.
no subject
And what has changed your interests?
no subject
W-well I had this really long cold bath near the end of last year and well... Let's just say it gave me my fill of large bodies of water for a good long while.
