Lastly came Winter cloathed all in frize
[There appears to be fog or steam rising up around the woman as she appears on screen, in reality it's because behind her is a field of ice leftover from when she froze the water coming out of the pod so she could walk across it without getting wet. Her hair is down, all adding the the abnormal lack of color and making the dark lips and shifting colors in her eyes even more obvious. Her eyes are only sort of in the direction of the screen because she is holding the brochure in her other hand, flipping it over to see if there is any more explanation for whatever god had the audacity to pull her away from what she was supposed to be. And only a god would have that ability because there was no way any humans even in large numbers could have managed the task against her will.]This is unacceptable.
[Gaze lifting from the device in her hand to the surrounding city the Queen looks... annoyed. Which isn't the best mood to have her in but isn't all that uncommon either.] Handmaiden. [Now that sounds more like a demand than a randomly thrown out word. And it is. She's calling for the Leanansídhe and is even more annoyed when the woman does not appear. She'd call for her Knight if she thought he wouldn't run the other direction just to be difficult, he generally had to be suborned into service. Her eyes narrow as she steps out onto a street with passing people and they barely seem to pay her any mind which is not common at all.] Creatures of this demesne, explain.
[And that's about the time things start going frosty all around her, it even crackles into the edges of the screen, icing up trees behind her and something cracks as it freezes so quickly then explodes in a shower of ice shards and wood. One of the lower branches of a tree off to her left side.]

[private and she wouldn't know how to change that if she wanted to]
And she gives her head an odd bird-like tilt at the mention of Harry not being a puppet on strings. One has to wonder if Murphy would like a physical demonstration of what kinds of strings she can pull involving the Winter Knight.
Mab can appreciate that fire. It's unfortunate that is means she's tossing off a bunch of disrespect. Mab is, afterall, prideful.]
Ms. Murphy. [Oh yes, she knows your name.] I can appreciate your loyalty to my Knight. I suspect it may even be useful to me someday and so I will not freeze the blood in your veins when next we meet. [There we go, threat given, time to move on to more important matters.]
Yes, information is precisely what interests me at the moment.
[private] to end
Ok, what we know is that this place isn't Earth, Chicago, the Nevernever or any related realm. Things work om some of the same laws and rules here sometimes but others not.
Like your world physics and dimension seem to be give and take in places.
There are archways that can lead to what seem to be bubbles of other places. Imitations of other places anyway.

The necklaces have some connection. [The agreement was still laced with leftover amusement.] Imitations you say?

I'm not sure the other areas here are what they are meant to be, they don't feel real to me. More like a mock up of the place they resemble.
I know you don't need anyone to provide for you, from what Harry's told me you're sort of the next best thing to all powerful. But there are places you can live if you would like, no where near as impressive as an ice palace though.

A stronghold is necessary for what I am in our reality. In this place I imagine it would be of very little use.

There are houses and apartment buildings, you strike me as the penthouse type and I think there are a few of those. [Not like bad neighborhoods were an issue for Mab, the woman could deal with a whole gang with little more than a flick of her fingers.
Which kinda struck her hard then, like maybe this wasn’t a horribly brilliant idea. Talking to Mab like this, standing up to her like this. Not that she’d been utterly disrespectful or anything but still, Murphy was mortal. Yeah mortal and she’d made it a point to never let things, mortal or otherwise, see her sweat. So her chin angled up and she stood proud, all five feet nothing of her.]
I’d offer you a ride but not sure a bike is your preferred mode of transportation.

[Really she could build off any structure given time and effort but it would be nice not to have to expend energy right away when she did not know the place she was in or dangers that might be around. Murphy was describing things to her and suddenly her face changed. Marginally but something about her stance or expression made it clear she'd just realized who she was talking to. And then she straightened and Mab's lips curled up in the corners as Murphy stood her ground. Humans could be so cute sometimes.]
Bike? [She doesn't get out that much but she's seen bicycles. And no she wouldn't ride on the handlebars of one of those, nor did the idea of pedaling with another person on the kind with two seats seem appealing. Ah but she'd joined the hunt on... ] a motor-cycle? [You could practically hear the hyphen.]

And if she thought Murphy had stiffened before that was nothing compared to the passing comment of first a bicycle and the a motorcycle...jesus it sounded like she intentionally broke the word up even.]
A Harley actually, a work of art in chrome and steel. It's not just a motorcycle.
no subject
I think not. I leave your Harley to you.

Ok there are a few apartment buildings I can recommend for you, and once you are on your feet you can probably even set yourself up in something that seems more like home to you through one of the archways.
no subject
This sounds acceptable for the time being.
no subject
I'm still learning it myself but people are pretty free with information around here.

Humans are very accommodating when they choose to be. [And so wonderfully oblivious to the value of information. This is actually quite close to a thank you from Mab. As thank you's among the sidhe go. So not really one because she acts like these things should naturally be laid out in such a manner for her, but you know. Never hurts to keep her non-homicidal.]

[She didn't sound thrilled but she didn't argue it at least.]

Excellent. I imagine we will see one another soon enough.
