[Believe her, if she had a choice, she would not be calling for help. But she's tried everything, and she can't fly anymore, or shapeshift out of this mess, and trying to darg herself anywhere resulted in carpet burn which not only hurt like Glob, but made the already itchy scales hit a maddening level of itchy. she can't even reach water to stop them itching.

Though, it's audio for a reason - she's too embarrassed about the fact that she's stuck and that she now has the tail of a fish to show herself straight away. Mermaids are cool and all.... but not when she is one.]

Water. Lots of it. Before I got crazy would be awesome.

But of course. Where are you right now?

I'm at my apartment. It's this one. [A few seconds later, you get a text giving her apartment number and address.] Door's open but knock before you come in. [She might not be a vamp for now but that was pretty well hissed.]

[and he's on his way!]

[As soon as the knock is on her door, she's making sure her long black hair is covering everything that's to be seen before she says] Okay, you can come in.

[Meet Marcy the Mermaid, Adam. The long and thick black hair means that her currently naked breasts are not visible and so long as she doesn't move about too much, it should stay that way. As you can see, she is beached. It should be clear what she means by a lot of water. The silvery-bluey-grey tail is shifting a little restlessly in her discomfort. And there might just be a permanent colouring of the cheeks until she's wearing something on top. If you think of that.]

adam blinks behind his mask as soon as he sees her, he's simply trying to take in the scene before him. sure, seeing her topless and in such a state was surprising, but a prince wouldn't embarrass her!

so she was a mermaid and she needed water, easy enough. adam glanced around as soon as he closed the door.]

To the bath- that should help you out.

[for the time being at least. she would do much better in the water surrounding this place, but he wasn't sure if she would even make it. the man walks towards her, and he simply scoops her up into his arms. he carries her bridal-style towards the bathroom.]

[She nods a little bit in response to the bath thing, trying not too move to much. Her arms go up to cover when he picks her up bridal style, but she can't complain about manhandling. He's definitely gentlemanly about it.]

...So... what's your name...? [What with you having hands on her and all. She's not going to do the awkward silence thing. Although, this is probably just as bad.]

[but of course he is a gentleman! he thinks he's a prince, after all. even so, if he weren't in this weird trance then he would have considered helping her out. she's not a human, after all, he has no problems with her.]

I'm Adam, and what's yours?

[as he says this he comes into her bathroom, gently placing her in the bathtub. adam brings his hand up to his face, biting the edge of his glove and he pulled it off with his teeth. he turned to glance at the faucet, turning it on. the hand with no glove went under the water, testing it for the right temperature before he pulled away from it.]

There, how's that for you? [as the bath begins to fill...]

I'm Marceline. And I'm not really a mermaid.

[Then the water starts to run and it feels somewhat like bliss where it's touching the dry and itchy scales, providing an almost instant relief.] It's awesome, thanks.

[ah. okay. he's heard this story before, saying that they're really not a bandit or a princess. to him though he really is a prince, at least at the moment he thinks that.]

Then what are you if you're not a mermaid?

[...he just now noticed that she had been covering up her chest this entire time, OOPS! adam clears his throat then turns away from her. his back is resting against the tub however, but he won't peek.]

[She doesn't uncover it right away, but she feels a little bit better about it. She gets a little bit more comfortable, and it's audible in her tone.]

Vampire. The queen of, back on Ooo.

[No hint of a lie, irony, or anything. That's a straight up fact, and one that she sounds a little proud of.]

[a vampire queen? that's actually... well, really interesting. adam smirks a little at that, nodding.]

So now you're a mermaid and a vampire? That's sure an interesting combination.

How's the water?

Mostly mermaid, or I'd just shift out of this [Gesturing at her tail] into something else until it goes away.

The water is great.

[he can hear her gesturing to her tail, but he's still not looking, nope.]

Well, I've always been a prince. This all suits me just fine.

[no, he hasn't. he's in far too deep and he really believes he's prince charming.]

[And she's never met him before now, so she has no reason to believe anything otherwise.]

I guess that's before you got whisked away here, right?

[...his memory is a little hazy, but he nods a little. he felt like this was the most comfortable though, being here and being a prince. he barely remembers anything before.]

This place is... odd though, even so. [he blurted that out and he barely understood why. this curse was hitting him hard.]

So not going to argue with that.

[The water sloshes around her as she fidgets a little, making little waves around her. There's a snicker, but she stops as there's not much room in there. Lets not get the floor too wet.]

But it's not really bad. I don't think so, anyway.

[some of the water spills over and gets on adam, in which he turns to glance at his shoulder.

jeeeez! but he smiles and goes back to looking ahead of himself.]

You like it here, I take it?

Like I say - it's not really bad. Sometimes it sucks, sometimes it doesn't. I've definitely seen worse than this place.

Hmm...

[he nods.]

That's good to know. [he pauses before speaking up again-] ...If you're okay with the water for now, I can go if you'd like.

[The water sloshes again as she shrugs, and she reaches over to turn it off. Those scales are covered now, so she's feeling a lot better.]

Whatever, I don't really mind. But thanks for the help.
