Though, it's audio for a reason - she's too embarrassed about the fact that she's stuck and that she now has the tail of a fish to show herself straight away. Mermaids are cool and all.... but not when she is one.]

[As soon as the knock is on her door, she's making sure her long black hair is covering everything that's to be seen before she says] Okay, you can come in.

[Meet Marcy the Mermaid, Adam. The long and thick black hair means that her currently naked breasts are not visible and so long as she doesn't move about too much, it should stay that way. As you can see, she is beached. It should be clear what she means by a lot of water. The silvery-bluey-grey tail is shifting a little restlessly in her discomfort. And there might just be a permanent colouring of the cheeks until she's wearing something on top. If you think of that.]

adam blinks behind his mask as soon as he sees her, he's simply trying to take in the scene before him. sure, seeing her topless and in such a state was surprising, but a prince wouldn't embarrass her!

so she was a mermaid and she needed water, easy enough. adam glanced around as soon as he closed the door.]

To the bath- that should help you out.

[for the time being at least. she would do much better in the water surrounding this place, but he wasn't sure if she would even make it. the man walks towards her, and he simply scoops her up into his arms. he carries her bridal-style towards the bathroom.]

[She nods a little bit in response to the bath thing, trying not too move to much. Her arms go up to cover when he picks her up bridal style, but she can't complain about manhandling. He's definitely gentlemanly about it.]

...So... what's your name...? [What with you having hands on her and all. She's not going to do the awkward silence thing. Although, this is probably just as bad.]

[as he says this he comes into her bathroom, gently placing her in the bathtub. adam brings his hand up to his face, biting the edge of his glove and he pulled it off with his teeth. he turned to glance at the faucet, turning it on. the hand with no glove went under the water, testing it for the right temperature before he pulled away from it.]

There, how's that for you? [as the bath begins to fill...]

[Then the water starts to run and it feels somewhat like bliss where it's touching the dry and itchy scales, providing an almost instant relief.] It's awesome, thanks.

Some people in his home world might find his interest in the girl odd, since he didn't really have anything to gain from her. But, she was one of the first people he had met here and he did kinda consider her a friend. She was nice enough to him at least. So, he was willing to help her, to an extent.

[There's a pause. Well, she like BJ enough that she's going to skip all the dramatics and get to the point on this one.]

"No problem, babes. I'll be right there," Betelgeuse promised. He magicked himself to her apartment and appeared in the nearest surface reflective enough to hold a steady image. Grinning crookedly, he knocked on his side of it. "Yo, Marceline! I'm over here! Nice tail!"

[There is a good reason she told you to knock first. The second you're knocking, is the second her hands fly up to her torso, covering her upper half. She even got the stereotypical mermaid endowments.... but has lacked a sea to get seashells or the weirdly friendly sea creatures to... cover. So, naturally, she freaks out a touch. But it lacks the demonic face that usually accompanies a freakout which should tell you it wasn't her that put herself into this shape if nothing else does.]

Betelgeuse laughed unrepentantly, keeping his gaze mostly on the ceiling.

"Heh, heh, heh, sorry, babes," he offered, shrugging. "I didn't realize you were having problems with your rack. Though, what's so perverted about a guy admiring a gal's rack, anyway? There's worse things than a little honest perversion, y'know. Uh. Want some help with that?"

Betelgeuse laughed, then stuffed two of his fingers into his mouth. He gave a long whistle and the floor space next to the walls began rising. As a pool formed, water bubbled up from the floor, filling the empty space. A ring of bubbles wrapped themselves around Marceline's chest, solidifying into a tacky bikini top that looked like plastic bubbles glued to a thin strip of blue cloth.

"There ya go," Betelgeuse announced proudly. "Can I come over now?"

[She's still a little pink in the cheeks, but it's just fading embarrassment. She's a lot better about it now that she's covered. The floor of water is awesome, providing relief for her instantly - also calming her mood. And tacky is better than none at all.]
