[Some small around of disorientation is to be expected when one wakes up in an unknown place, but Shallie resolves to keep a clear head about it and not panic. As the daughter of the village chief, Shallie is a representative of Lugion, after all, and panicking won't help save her village from the Dusk. Someone is bound to have more information on the situation at hand, after all, and she's certain that remaining calm and polite will leave a much better first impression.
So it's with that that Shallie exits the Bay, reading the pamphlet that she found as she walks. Of course, her attention gets quickly diverted as she realizes just how much more advanced this city seems to be than Stellard was, especially when she comes across the holographic stand over by the magazine racks.]
Wow... it's really amazing! Is this what the big cities look like back home, too? And the Dusk doesn't seem to even be here, either. [Judging from all the water in the Bay, that is, and from Weiss' message about how this city is safe. In any case, Shallie continues to walk around, taking in the sights, though sooner or later, she finds herself going back to the Bay, if only because of the water. It's almost too good to be true, even if this is a different world, and she wonders if maybe, she can find something here to help her village.]

[Even with the instructions, Shallie's never used anything like the walkie-talkie before, and she's more than a little concerned that she might accidentally break it. As such, she's a little surprised at how easily she manages to turn it on, even if the instructions weren't particularly hard to follow.]
That's good... it really does work. [She really shouldn't have worried about it, but eh, what's done is done.]
Hello, my name is Shallistera, and I only just arrived not too long ago. I'm the representative for Lugion- my village- though I guess that doesn't mean much here... since this is another world.
[But maybe it'll help things if she gets that bit of information out of the way? To show that she isn't just some kid that knows nothing.]
Um... I'd like to speak to someone from... 'Schnee Company Welcoming and Travel Services', I think it was? If possible. I'd like to help out in any way I can, but there's something I'm wondering about.

Hello, Shallistera. My name is Armin Arlert, I'm the administrative assistant at the Schnee Company. How can I help you?
[She has a few questions, really, but she doesn't want to look ignorant, in case the answer is right in front of her face.]
I was wondering... I'd like to try to find a job here, so I can help everyone out, but I'm not... really certain what kind of jobs I can take on here. My only real talent is alchemy, so...
Otherwise, there are plenty of entry-level positions available: secretaries, receptionists, wait staff, clerks, assistants - that sort of thing. If any of those sound like something you'd be interested in, I can get you a more complete list.
[Zelos shrugged.]
Yeah, whatever titles we had in our old worlds don't mean anything here.
[Well, then again, up until recently she'd never been away from the village. She did get the occasional remark about there being two Shallies, though.]
Mm, I thought as much, but I still kind of feel like I should do my best to represent everyone back home.
Represent everyone from back home, huh... Sounds like your title means a lot to you? Not sure how many here'd want to take responsibility for their whole world like that.
[He'd just been taking the 'ignoring his old life entirely' approach, so there's that.]
[As the next village chief, Stera admittedly has a lot of responsibility on her shoulders, but she's been trying to uphold them as best as she can.]
[So she was technically a noble of sorts back in her world too? Interesting. Zelos himself had a lot of responsibility back home... but this was something he'd long since run away from.]
Well, just remember to keep yourself happy too. No point putting yourself through the ringer just to uphold your status like that, you know? It's a new world, a new place, no harm in relaxing and taking some time for yourself whilst you're here.
Hi, Shallistera-san. I work at the Schnee company as well as a front desk attendant, what do you need?
[Pause.]
I'm not that great at much except for alchemy.
[She's...pretty sure it isn't actually turning lead into gold, anyway.]
Otherwise there's a pretty good variety of work around here. Most employers here are pretty good about showing their new employees the ropes.
