Shit. Another strange place. Ryuko though they'd left this behind when they hopped on that van out of Satsuki's crazy city. Shit.There some other crazy foe she has to fight!? This doesn't seem like Ragyo's cup of tea, or anything from that crazy cloth.
Her eyes scanned the area for some clues about this crazy ass place. Maybe there was at least a lemon stand here, or something. She could use a snack, while she figured things out.
She could start by getting a good view. She looked for a low hanging building, before tensing her legs. With a running start, she traveled directly up to the top of the building, then kicked her way off to reach the next.
After a good long investigation, she'd travel her way back down, glancing at the device in her hand. Maybe she oughtta leave a message for whoever ran this place...

Besides, she had echos of this girl in her memory. From when her mind was unclouded and she spent the day with her sister and Satsuki. Oh... Right wasn't this Satsuki's sister? Yes. It had to be. Her memories of that time were as clear as day, a strange beacon in her mind considering how mixed up she usually was, though memories from reading minds never lasted as strongly as memories of spoken words. Though wasn't Satsuki's sister already in the city? This one just arrived from the bay... Or did she leave and come back?
She landed next to Ryuko when she finally came to a stop, reaching up and poking at the black-haired woman's arm. "Miss! Hey! Now that your head is clear, can you see me? Heeeyy!" Hopefully she would become visible if Ryuko focused on her...
no subject
That had given her a bit of a nasty shock. Her eyes quickly traveled over the woman, though. She didn't seem like much of a threat. "What do you meany 'your head is clear,' anyhow?"
no subject
She tilted her hat up with a thumb, her luminous green eyes growing brighter with her smile. "You're Miss White's sister, aren't you! I didn't get to meet you before you poofed for awhile! Now yo're back! And you can see me! Yay!"
Without asking the creature threw her arms around Ryuko's waist, hugging her tightly. Fortunately she let go just as quickly, grasping her hand and shaking. "Hello Miss! My name is Koishi Komeiji! I'm a satori youkai. But you don't have to be scared of me, okay? I can't read minds anymore. Just the subconscious mind." She somehow seemed to brighten further. "Miss White will be super happy you're here I bet! I can't wait to tell her!"
no subject
"...You know Satsuki?" Sis... She was still getting sorta used to that. "What do you mean poofed for a while? I"ve never been here berfore today, you know."
Then the hug, and she was pretty much immediately moving to... apparently pry off a girl who was already there. "You're not making any sense!"
no subject
"Yeah! You were here and then you weren't. Now you're here again!" A bright smile. "Sometimes people forget, but that's okay. It means you get to make friends all over again! Neat, huh?" She seemed to just grow more and more excited. Almost impossibly so. "Miss! Oh! You should go see Miss White! She's really really busy but I bet she'll make time! Then we can get ice cream! Miss White got me some when I first woke up in the metal tubes. It had crackly things on it. I like crackly things!"
She reached into her pocket and pulled out a piece of hand-wrapped taffy. "Here! My sister makes me taffy for when I'm out and about. You can have a piece. It's really delicious because she puts just a tiny tiny bit of sake in it instead of some salt so it has a really nice flavor. Even Miss White likes them and she's always got a yellow crinkle badge on."
Great, now she's talking in riddles.
no subject
"What sort of nonsense is that? I'd know if I were here before. And I'm already on my way to see her." Though why the girl kept calling her Miss White....
"Yellow what badge?" She's looking at that taffy like it might be some sort of drug, at the moment. At least Mako makes a kind of sense when she babbles.

She took Ryuko by the hand, drifting into the air... flying. She looked about to take off a lot faster when she paused, something catching her attention. She looked the street a ways back, a pink car traveling along toward them. "It's Mister Big! I bet he'll take us in his rumbly wheels thing!"
She took to the air, heading toward the car, looking beyond elated, waving one arm and shouting for "mister big." Though there really was only one person who could have a nickname like that...
(Let's continue here.)

Before she really had a chance of making a message of any sort, a familiar pink car would be pulling up alongside Ryuko. Gamagori had spotted her jumping across the buildings while dropping a client off and decided to follow her.
"Matoi. Get in."
no subject
The building had offered a pretty good view.
no subject
"Mister Big! Mister Big! Please take us to see Miss White! We can have a party!" Her third eye drifted forward, squishing itself against Gamagori's cheek. "I know where Miss White hides the chocolate chip cookies. I bet she'll be so happy she'll pull them out and we can all share!"
no subject
Gama merely gives Koishi a cursory glance, making sure she was buckled in before starting the car moving. He produced one of the introduction pamphlets that were at the Bay, on the off chance that Ryuko's urge to get out of the bay prompted her skipping the introduction.
"These pamphlets contain just about everything we know about this place for the moment. What is the last thing you remember before waking up here, Matoi?"
no subject
"What? Sailing away with Mako after that whole graduation mess."
no subject
At least she wasn't being as obnoxious as she could be...

Usually...until a person jumps down right in front of her.
Maka's reaction is downright blase as she tilts her head and regards Ryuko. Again, that feeling of familiarity nags at her--looking at her face Maka feels like she knows someone that looks like her. Satsuki flashes in her mind, similar frown of concentration that the young lady is wearing in place.
...Oh. Nah, I'm just tired.
"Hello!" So Maka starts off with a friendly greeting, of course. "You're new here, right? You probably have some questions...have you looked at the pamphlet yet?"
no subject
"Pamphlet?" she asked. "It got anything about the school over there?" she's pointing toward where Honnōji Academy's been set up, with a slight frown on her face. Something pretty weird was going on here, and Maka wanted answers.
"...How'd you know I was new, anyway?"
no subject
"The school? It probably has an overview of some of the businesses started by people that have been brought here, but I don't know if it has anything about the school." How did she know it was a school and why is she so curious is a question that occurs to her, but answering a question with another question is not very helpful. Maka turns to the direction Ryuko's pointing, hand tapping at an oblong-shaped wrapped object attached to her waist as she considers.
"That's the school Satsuki Kiryuin started. She's the guardian of one of the cities, and pretty serious about making sure Genessia is able to defend itself...do you know her?"
All right, maybe one question.
no subject
Her gaze was still locked on the school. Her muscles were tense as she stared at it, She was considering how fast she could run there, actually. Maybe Satsuki would have an explanation for this rabbit whole she'd fallen into.
She wasn't paying too much attention to Maka, yet. She seemed nice enough, but so far she wasn't triggering any sort of instincts anything for her.
no subject
It's weird but that's the only way she can think to explain it.
"Your soul's getting really jumpy, don't you think you should call her first before running off to meet her?"
no subject
Her big sister was a lot of things. Easy to startle didn't make the top thousand. Too much composure, maybe. Ah well. Her sister's got her own reasons for doing things the way she does. Ryuko has hers, too.
"...You say my souls jumpy?"

*Finds this two months later and cries tears of shame*
action;
"Well hey there, my mysterious beauty."
action;
Ryuko blinked at the greeting, more surprised than offended. "...Me?"
action; (Sorry for the delay)
"Of course~" he said, covering his surprise with a playful smile. "Must be my lucky day, I don't normally have cute hunnies just drop out the sky in front of me like this."
action; (No worries!)
action;
since he called Azula 'sweetie', anyway. The fact that this newcomer was interested in women was not something he'd actually considered."A girlfriend, huh? She...must be a pretty lucky girl," he said, "Well anyway, what's your name? I'm Zelos. Zelos Wilder."
action;
"Y-Yeah." She's feeling more awkward than anything.
"Ah. Ryuko. Matoi Ryuko."
