[ Action ]
[ On waking in the pod, Lucy was admittedly very.. disoriented. It wasn't her apartment back home OR in that other world she'd been in for a year. MOreover, Natsu wasn't with her like usual. Or Levy, or Erza. But maybe they'd gone to scout ahead? ]

[ No, she was sure Natsu would have waited. After looking over the items left with her and familiarizing herself with the new equipment (thankfully she was familiar enough with a thing like that so it didn't take long for her to understand), she slipped out of the pod, searching around the Bay first, before heading out to the city.

Boy did she hope her friends were here somewhere. One can find Lucy exploring/scouting around not far from the Bay, her videophone in hand. ]

[ It isn't long after she's digested all the information she was given before she fussed with the videophone enough to turn it on to broadcast a question. ]

Hi - I'm new here, and I'm looking for some friends of mine. I'm not sure if they're here, but they all have the symbol of our guild on their body - it looks like this. Though it isn't always on the hand. But if you see anyone with a tattoo matching that description, please let me know. My name is Lucy; Lucy Heartfilia, from Fairy Tail.

[He'd woken up first with a jump, startled to not find himself in Lucy's comfortable bed back in the cabin in the world he and a few others had been taken to. Needless to say his pod suffered a bit of damage as he jumped out quickly scanning his surroundings and realizing with dawning horror that this was not the same place. So the first thing he did was run out of the place, sniffing the air like a bloodhound and earning quite a few odd looks.]

[That was until the device he'd found on waking, sparked to life with a familiar voice. Thanks to his time in that other world he wasn't as technologically inept so he had no problems replying to the call.]

Lucy? Lucy they brought you here too? Where are you?!

[ And she stopped short at the first response over the videophone. ]

Natsu!?

[ Thank everything she hadn't been sent somewhere else and left him behind. She remembered how he reacted the last time she went home. ]

I'm here too - I haven't seen Levy-chan or Erza yet though. Are you still near that bay? I'm not far, I'm turning around.

[ Turning to quickly trot back the way she came. ]

The bay? Okay I'll head to the entrance and meet you there.

[Honestly the relief he showed was merely a flicker compared to how it was on the inside.]

That's a relief.

[He sighs as he rushes over.]

They're not with you? Hmmm Well I've been out for half an hour now so they should show up if you did.

Okay, I'll be there soon.

[ Excellent, a meeting point. It's easy enough to find her way back - she'd gone in a straight line, after all. Oddly it didn't occur to her that he might not remember Exsilium. The last thing she remembered was the party -- and then she supposed the transporter sent them home and... somehow she wound up in a new place after that. ]

I thought if you all were here too, you might have been scouting around to figure out how we all ended up here.

[ And when she drew near the Bay and saw him waiting, her heart skipped a beat. ]

Natsu...!

Yeah I went looking around. This place is totally not where we should be! I couldn't pick up anyone else's scent so far though...

[But that tone quickly changes as he spots Lucy approaching.]

Lucy!

[He runs up to her and spins her in a hug of relief before setting her down on her feet again probably leaving her a bit more dizzy than intended.]

I know... [ She sighs faintly. ] Do you think it's just us..?

EEP!

[ She doesn't have time to think about that possibility when Natsu is abruptly scooping her up and swinging her around in a hug, causing her to drop her videophone in surprise. She laughs, wrapping her arms around him in the hug. When he put her down again, she stumbled a little, because yep, that was really dizzying. ]

Haha, Natsu, jeez..!

[ For as chiding as she sounded though, she was just really happy. ]

[Kefka had been relatively quiet since coming to this place. He'd mainly been studying, waiting for something to come along that was worthy of his attention to announce his presence. That's when he noticed something. Something... magical. After making his way toward the Bay, he sees her. Pure, powerful, naive. If it weren't for her physical appearance, he might've thought she was his favorite plaything. He floats down, just hovering over here for a moment, examining, before making a comment.]

You seem lost~

[ Hey, Lucy is no one's plaything! And... this guy is floating. Obviously this is some kind of magic, but his makeup was kinda of...odd. Startling at his particular manner of arrival, she blinked, before venturing a hesitant smile. O K A Y ... ]

Well, I guess you could say that. I just arrived in this town this morning. I was hoping to find one of my friends - I don't suppose you've seen anyone with this marking anywhere?

[ She held up the back of her right hand. ]

Well I thought it was just me. Until you called.

[He holds both arms out to help steady Lucy until she can stand on her own again. ]

Sorry. I couldn't help it.

[He was actually genuinely afraid when he woke up and she wasn't there.]

[No, Lucy is definitely not Terra. That's not to say he can't have fun with her. ...Even if she isn't half-Esper.]

[He floats downward, getting a little... too close to her hand before shrugging and floating back.]

Can't say I've seen it anywhere, no. What does it mean, if I might ask~?

[ She placed her hands against his arms when the world no longer felt like it was spinning around her.]

It's okay. I was worried too, when I woke up and I didn't see anyone else. [ She flashed a grin at hime. ]

Just goes to show not even the Powers that Be would dare separate us, right? [ Because they're partners! ... and uh... ]

[ H.. hey you're getting a little close there, buddy. Look with your eyes! ]

It identifies members of the guild my friends and I are from back home, and symbolizes the bonds we share with each other.

[ With a soft smile, she drew her hand back, though the smile faded a little. ]

So you haven't seen them... still, according to the map this is a pretty big place. They could still be here somewhere.

I see, I see...

[He taps his chin in mock thought for a moment, taking a seated position as he floats.]

Are all your friends mages, then?

Taking that as a signal that she could stand on her own he let his hands fall back by his sides.]

Sorry. I should've probably stayed closer to where I woke up I guess?

[He says sheepishly before laughing at her words.]

Looks that way. Though I've gotta say the lack of snow is definitely a plus here.

[If she somehow doubted he was from Exsilium he had just unintentionally provided her with the confirmation that he indeed did come from there.]

It's all right - we found each other now. Maybe Erza and the others too -

[ She trailed off, suddenly blinking in surprise. ]

Snow...? [ Waaait a second. ] Natsu, do you ... have you heard of a place called Exsilium?

[ Well there's no harm in answering that, he'd probably be able to figure it out for himself anyway. And it's not something she would ever hide. ]

Yes, that's right . .. you're one too, aren't you? Floating like that and all.

I am~!

[The tone is that of almost forgetting it himself. Of course it's quickly discarded as he spins in the air and strikes a pose.]

Kefka Palazzo, High Court Mage of the Gestahlian Empire, at your service~!

[He blinks innocently at her surprised reaction. Did he say something weird? Nope it's just Lucy being her weird self same as always.]

Yeah. That's where we fell asleep last night after the party.

[And BOY what a party that was.]

[ Ohhhhhhhhhhh suddenly his garb made all the more sense. This Empire must require them to dress like that. ....... WHY?. Hot on the heels of that is sudden realization that...Natsu was probably tactless enough to comment on it. ]

It's nice to meet you, Kefka. I'm Lucy; Lucy Heartfilia.

[ No Lucy, it's not nice to meet him. Run away. Runnnnnnnnn! ]

[It's amazing how much he was allowed to get away with, even in diplomatic situations, just on the "oh, he's just an eccentric magic person."]

A pleasure my dear~! I must admit though, I am... mildly confused. In my world, magical abilities are not inborn, and must be induced through other methods.

[He makes a quick motion at his face.]

You, however, seem to lack any of the tell-tale scarring of the process. Is magic really so widespread where you are from?

[ Fkl HE REMEMBERED THE PARTY TOO. A slight blush surfaced and she mentally choked on her response, for a minute. Then she decided to... not question that any further. He might ask awkward questions. ]

A..ah, I... wasn't sure if you remembered that place. [ Cough. ] I... the last thing I remember was .. the Transporter must have sent me back home for a while, before bringing me here, in the middle of the night.

[ A frown. ] But I don't remember the Initiative saying anything about sending us to another world without consent or anything. When we were evacuated to the moon they at least gave us some notice.

[ Hey, Fairy Tail is FUUUUUUUULL of eccentric magic people! ... .... okay no Kefka pretty much took the cake on that one. She tilted her head curiously. ]

Other methods? What do you mean? [ Lachryma maybe? But no, he's not from her world, so it must be some other kind of method. Absently she touched her face, then shook her head with a smile. ]

Not everyone is a wizard back home, but they're probably in the majority of the population, at least in Fiore. There's more than one guild than Fairy Tail. [ And not all of them legal. ]

[Now it's his turn to be surprised and a little afraid to boot.]

You were sent home?! How far?

[He frowns at the mention of the transporter and the lack of warning.]

Maybe it broke somehow and threw us here?

[ Lucy was silent a moment, because she remembered what Natsu told her, and he hadn't told her about her future self's fate. Not that she hadn't found out anyway, but living through it was ten times worse. ]

We declared war on Tataros. Happy, Wendy, you and I were going to one of the ex councilor's houses. The one you told me about, where Jackal appeared. But before he showed up, I wound up here.

[ She looked thoughtful a moment. ]

That's possible.. if that's the case, then maybe Levy-chan and Erza are here somewhere too. ... and Zeref. [ She was a little torn on that. He was a friend but.. ]

[He never intended to make her live through that but now she likely knew why he was much more attached to her presence than before.]

So almost to where I'm from huh. Well at least you made it back okay.

[Because he's still worried about what happens after he got taken out.]

[His expression sours a little bit at the mention of Zeref given that his creations put Laxus in the sickbay poisoned while also killing lots of innocent people.]

Yeah I'm sure they will. In the meantime we should have a look around, get our bearings.
