[ When the video flickers to life, Augusta appears on the screen, her hand pressed against her forehead as if to nurse a migraine. ]

I used to think it was troublesome when people misplace their personal belongings consistently, but this is on another level.
 

In the three months that I've been here we managed to misplace more than one entire location.

[ First Attleton Maze and now the Bay, come on... ] 

I can't say Nova City seems like an improved place for the Bay either. Considering the load of technology there, it might easily give people from less advanced worlds a heart attack.
 

Overall, I'm really starting to worry about how unstable everything about this place seems.

Consistent addresses is the bare minimum of what I'd expect from a city, but alas...

If we at least knew whether or not things will change back...

[ The maze did turn back but can they count on this? Count on... anything? Such a hassle. ]

Rather than whether they'd change back, I'd prefer to know why. If we know why, we can work on figure out prevention strategies.

I agree. Preferably, none of this would ever happen, but the ideal scenario is already missed by a long-shot....

It's just hard to research something this supernatural.

What I wouldn't give to have my company's resources back home.

[ Having lots of money and power can get you a lot of information and mega research labs and things, okay. It would certainly make life much easier here. ]

We might actually be capable of finding something out if we did.

There certainly is something to be said for having an established social standing and all the benefits that come with it - and responsibilities, in this case.

[ You get wealth, you get power - and in turn, when things go awry you're there for people and try to figure things out. ]

Typically you can't have one without the other.

No. Wanting responsibility without resources is often pointless because you have nothing to fill your word with on a large scale. Having a social standing without filling the responsibilities is condemn-able to me.
