Dritter Eintrag - [Video]

[ When the video flickers to life, Augusta appears on the screen, her hand pressed against her forehead as if to nurse a migraine. ]

I used to think it was troublesome when people misplace their personal belongings consistently, but this is on another level.

In the three months that I've been here we managed to misplace more than one entire location.

[ First Attleton Maze and now the Bay, come on... ]

I can't say Nova City seems like an improved place for the Bay either. Considering the load of technology there, it might easily give people from less advanced worlds a heart attack.

Overall, I'm really starting to worry about how unstable everything about this place seems.

Are you afraid? I can keep you company until you feel better if you're worried.

[Translation: Mikoshiba hadn't thought about it up to this point but now that Augusta's mentioned the locations...lack of a permanent location, he's freaking out internally.]

I don't think the robots are helping in that aspect either really.

[They are at least trying to help people when they first arrive while they can't, but they would still weird her out never the less if that was the first thing she saw.]

But... I guess things really are starting to seem more unstable than what it was like when I first arrived... And that was pretty bad in itself.

I must say, in recent times this place has been getting rather out of hand. I wonder what on earth provoked this

Are you making this suggestion out of politeness [ or whatever else compels you to act like you do ] or because you genuinely mean it?

I'm not sure if afraid is the right term, but I'm concerned more than I'd like to be.

The most obvious suggestion would be the thunderstorms but normal thunderstorms don't tend to do this either, so it's not a very conclusive guess anyway.

I'm wondering if investigating both of the locations might bring results...

[ The robots are rather creepy as far as Augusta is concerned, really. She's almost considering whether or not a human welcome committee to even them out would be a good investment. ]

What would you say is worse than before and what has stayed the same since?

Yes, even in the Netherworld, thunderstorms don't usually lead to large locations spontaneously manifesting somewhere else. It is very odd.

I think that might be wise. I may take a look over there myself.

[She asked, might as well be blunt.] Is there anything weird I need to know about your surroundings? If I do, it has to be as predictable as possible. Otherwise, I won't waste my time. [He gives her a haughty look. Nevermind he was the one who offered.]

I would be too if it started moving to things we need. Like...our homes and stuff. [Any false arrogance is erased, his eyes growing wide.] We should totally hang out together! Like, right now! [Words rushed, he laughs awkwardly.]

You're not the only one thinking this is an absolute pain.

[ Schnee Company's entire location was chosen based on the location of the Bay!! As if she didn't have enough stress already.. ]

When I first arrived, something happened and most of Genessia was pretty much destroyed. I don't know exactly what happened, but it was still pretty bad. But now buildings are moving on there own for no reason. I think it's safe to say things could get worse, if they aren't yet.

[She leans back in her seat for a moment as she thinks about what she just said.]

Though when it's not like that, the peace always somewhat stays the same.

[ shrugs]
Weird stuff happens. Anything's possible after getting randomly transported to a different world. I think I'd go mad trying to make sense of it all.

That's fine by me. [ Idiosyncrasies aside, he's not at all a bad person to spend time with after all. They can avoid crowds together, for completely different reasons. ] If you want to come over here, the most unexpected thing could be my two housemates coming and going. If that's bad, you pick the place and I'll come over. Talking in person is nicer than over this thing anyway.

[ Augusta just stares at her for a short moment here. ]

I'd have to disagree with your prior assessment. Most of the town being destroyed sounds a little worse off than buildings changing location but at least... staying buildings.

Consistent addresses is the bare minimum of what I'd expect from a city, but alas...

[ Deep, deep sigh. ]

If we at least knew whether or not things will change back...

[ The maze did turn back but can they count on this? Count on... anything? Such a hassle. ]

We've only talked a few times and you're inviting me to your place already? [Judging from his lower intonation he's trying to flirt.]

...I still have to work for a couple of hours. If you want, you could see me in action for a little while and then we could go there, depending on your housemates. What are they like?

I think I'll go mad if I don't try to make some sense of it, unfortunately enough.

[ Here's a deeeeeeep sigh. She would like to not care. Leaving caring to others usually works. But sometimes the limit is reached. ]

Asking to just know where I am within this place shouldn't be too much.

That entirely excludes the big questions as to 'where exactly is this world' and 'why were we brought here and how can we leave', too.

Both of them are aristocrats from my homeworld.

One of them is an easy-going but reliable young man who's usually giving his best for people. We've known each other from horseback riding. [ Said kind of fondly, really. ] The other is... [ There's a brief moment of hesitation as she muses how to make Lui sound not scary, but then she decides there is no use. Mikoto would be scared of him, no matter what she says. ] a strict nobleman who's very determined and confident. He seems cold normally.

If you'd care to share your results if you find them, I'd be grateful. Admittedly, I have no experience with the supernatural so I might not be able to assess any information well, but it's worth it being informed.

Rather than whether they'd change back, I'd prefer to know why. If we know why, we can work on figure out prevention strategies.

It managed to fix itself eventually though somehow, in this case, we know nothing about the why it happened but with destroyed buildings it was actually known what caused the problem.

I think the unknown is much worse than something everyone knows.

That is true. A known cause can be thought about and measures to coping and prevention can be taken. Like this, we're just playballs to.. whatever is really happening around us.

I agree. Preferably, none of this would ever happen, but the ideal scenario is already missed by a long-shot....

It's just hard to research something this supernatural.
