As a No-Star, Mako was used to finding herself in strange places if she wasn't in her usual home in the slums. Obviously, now things would be much different with the world free of the terrors of the Life-fibers -and Ryuko & Satsuki's crazy mother!- but that wasn't what worried her so much!

Actually, being in a strange new world would normally be really exciting for Mako if she wasn't sleeping somewhere near The Bay. In Nova City. That would be really inspiring for her to see, gawk and stare at in all it's glory...!

If, as previously stated, she wasn't asleep.

And what about her newfangled device she received upon arriving? It's in her hand. Possibly turned on. With anyone who's listening in possibly hearing her snore oh-so-lightly while currently unaware of her new lifestyle away from home and mystery croquettes.

[ Genessia was living up to its' expectations with how utterly monotonous everything was. The only interesting thing was the accusations thrown around by Roman and Weiss, and even that wasn't enough to sate her boredom.

What would a sorceress do, in that regard?

Well, right now, she was walking around in her child form for the hell of it while gathering ingredients for her potions. From the corner of her eye, she took notice of Mako's sleeping form.

...Well, now. Someone was that deep asleep here? The demon salivated at the opportunity -- there was a fresh soul waiting right there and she hadn't had any of those in quite a while. She hid her smirk as she approached, peering at the girl in the pod. ]

[ Nothing's saying that she can't put on the saccharine bullshit, right? A soul always tasted better when despair was sprinkled on it, after all. ]

Psst -- hey, miss. Miss, I think your thing is on. You shouldn't be sleeping here. You might get hurt...

(Ta-da! As Mako wakes up, she puts enough pressure on the walkie-talkie and turns it off while looking around for a few moments. Wait a second; she notices the girl next to her but doesn't know her from Adam or Eve or anyone else from many, many, many years ago!

She leans in, pets her curiously for a minute and then responds.)

Really? Thanks a lot! I heard everything that Weiss-san or is it Schnee-san said next to that stand before deciding I needed a quick nap. Maybe I should find out if anyone I know is here.

Say! Are you lost and alone too, little girl? Maybe you know my friends or possibly heard of them? Ryuko-chan, who's undoubtedly my best friend but she could be considered my only friend, or maybe even Satsuki-sama, Gamagoori-sensei Jazukure-san or any of the Elite Four? Have anyone with those names shown up here before now? Huh, huh, huh?

(Good luck trying to get this girl to fall in despair.)

[ Olisha takes a step back when Mako leaned in, tensing up when she was petted -- dammit, she wasn't some pet.

And then, once she talks, the sorceress immediately regrets waking her up. She can feel a migraine forming, which isn't helping anything worth a damn. But, no, she needed to remain calm so that no one suspected a damn thing right now. ]

Um... I'm not exactly lost, no, and I haven't heard of your friends. They might be around here somewhere. [ By Lucifer himself, why-- ] Maybe we can use the videophone to find 'em, 'cause I don't know where they exactly live.

[ Well, okay, she could find out if she wanted to, but that would be blowing her cover. ]

Ohh! A videophone? That sounds just fine with me 'cause I was gonna call it a walkie-talkie and try talking into it like you see in those old-fashioned movies where the army says 'Over!' and wait for their commander to say stuff, then they say 'Roger!' and 'Over and out, ma'am!'

(Either way, she'll have to deal with Mako as is since there's no off button for her. Unless she happens to come across her homeroom teacher. Who knows all sorts of different acupuncture techniques.)

I'm sure your parents will be very pleased to learn you helped out a total stranger who's new to this world, but hopefully I'll get the hang of things real soon! Are your parents here? [Chihiro had been busy when not at work, exercising and trying to improve himself by getting stronger. What he hadn't been expecting was to nearly fall over someone who was fast asleep near the bay.

Managing to keep ones balance, he turned around, unsure of what exactly to do before he carefully knelt down, making sure his skirt was at least tucked under his knees before speaking up.]

E-Excuse me. Ar-Are you alright? [He slowly started to reach over to shake in the hopes that they were in fact alive.]

(It's almost due to instinct, or maybe it's because she's lived under the 'oppression' of Satsuki's reign for so long, but when Chihiro even started to reach over to touch Mako, her eyes open and she bolts to her feet.

Yes she's awake, and very much alive!)

Ohhhhhhh!!! Are you a pervert, looking to defile Mako, or one of those mystery roaming kenshin warriors who walk the path of the nomad while seeking their next battle? Or maybe you could be someone who's just as new to this place as Mako is?

He tilted his head slightly. Wondering how on earth they managed to figure that out when honestly, he never told anyone. Did he give something away somehow? Never the less he could help but worry slightly that they would tell everyone before he had the courage to.

"H-How did you know?!" It was obvious that well he had been doing this for a while and this was the first person to figure it out that wasn't well family.

Ryuko stares for a long moment. A very long moment. Probably the longest she ever stared at Mako before.

She knelt down in front of the woman. She tilted her head a little to the side, curled her forefinger up inside her thumb, and flicked the woman upside her ear.

"OI!"

Oww! That hurt! Mataro, was that y-?!

(Mako's almost in tears as she's woken up rather abruptly, and almost annoyed as her eyes jerk open to see the perpetrator of that rotten, nasty, vile deed...and then her eyes open wide as she just stares back at Ryuko.

Staaaaaaaaaaare...and cue sudden leap into the air with arms outstretched!)

W-W-WOAH! [With no time to prepare, and only a vague moment to wonder how girl built up momentum that quickly, Ryuko slammed backward from the suddenly flying Mako.]

(Mako just glomps Ryuko right there, arms wrapped around the other girl's waist while giving her question some thought.)

I got here about 5-10 minutes ago, I think! Or maybe it was 20 minutes. I heard everything that Weiss-san, or is it Schnee-san, had to say while keeping track of my walkie-talkie, wondered if anyone else from home was here and took a nap!

How long have you been here, Ryuko-chan? Did you come just after our date too?

"They're not exactly napping." she pointed off into the distance. "Sis is running the school again. Guess she's the city guardian or something." She sort of feels like she should be proud of her sis, but everything is a complicated mess of timelines. She doesn't know what to think of anyone, and no one knows what to think of her.

She's ignoring the question of how long she's been here, but. "...Neah. It was after the graduation ceremony."

Ehhh?! The graduation ceremony?!! OMG I MISSED OUR GRADUATION! I'll have to repeat the year all over again and it was hard enough to understand what our teachers said before; what am I gonna do now that everything's been blown sky high and the school's practically a crater with nothing but ruined life-fibers and scattered clothes all around?

(...Hopefully Ryuko understands amidst all of this that her girlfriend's part of that 'complicated mess' of timelines -aka, she's from 'before' said graduation.)

...Huh? Moved the school here?! How is that possible? Did Satsuki-sama use some sort of hidden ability with life-fibers to make the school move? Does she use that same power to make others go to her school? Did she move our teachers here too?!

(Mako's pretty much got quite a few questions and she's hoping Ryuko can answer most of them. 'Cause seriously, when have Mako and Satsuki ever conversed with each other pre-end of the world maneuvers?)

But, that's great to hear; we're both transfer students now, so we can get matching transfer student buttons or maybe pins or how about backpacks?!

(Mako's bounced up and down, left and right, all around while keeping her bff/girl in her sights as well. While she suspects Ryuko's a future version that's still aright with her; she's still Ryuko and that's all that matters.)

Better to have on regular clothes than going naked like the Colony!

Right! We'll definitely graduate together...and Mako promises to try and stay awake during class.

(Or at least, she'll try to have her homework finished.)
