What: Hanami party~!!

It's Sunday and the cherry blossoms at Garden Park are finally in full bloom, adorning the park in an explosion of delicate pink flowers and petals. With Hikari's help, Labrador has set up a number of picnic mats under the best spots they could find for viewing the blossoms.

Food & drinks~!

Labrador is now taking out the food he has prepared, mainly sandwiches (some of which he's cut into the shape of flowers), cookies of various flavours and shaped as different flowers, including cherry blossom flavour and shape. He's made cherry blossom themed cupcakes as well. He got the idea for the flower theme from Yukiko and really, really loved it~!

He's also brought along lots of drinks - soft drinks, some alcoholic beverages for the older guests and tea! This is Labrador after all so there will be tea. He's even brewed some cherry blossom tea which might not taste like the traditional Japanese sakurayu, but is still delicious nonetheless.

Nanoha and Yukiko will be bringing along more food but anyone else who wants to contribute is free to do so!

Games~!

Yugi is in charge of the games~ But anyone who has a game idea is free to pitch in!

[Yugi had set up a few simple games that he had thought up would go with an outdoors activity. So set up are a simple ladder placed on a floor, a line and bean bags. The name of the game was to stand behind the line and try and get the bean bag as far as one could. Another game was a ring toss that he sorted to fit the theme of flowers and that was it. At least for now anyway.]

Circle Dance

Ted would lead, for anyone who cared to follow, the absolute simplest social dance he knew.

So, he jovially called for all and sundry to gather in a circle, performing all the usual steps. Joining hands, crossing legs, closing and expanding the circle. Not too unlike a flower, eh?

[Mikoshiba hasn't been looking forward to this since he heard about it what are you talking about, and he definitely isn't fretting on the inside now, frequently stealing glances at Mayu and blushing and pretending to admire the cherry blossoms instead. Which was harder than it should be. The blossoms were beautiful, after all, and he usually found them calming. But he didn't want to appear as if he was too into it, because that would hardly work for his image, and when he thought of that, he thought of who he was trying to maintain his image for right now, which--

Just makes him blush more and make low frustrated sounds.]

[ Mayu smiles fondly as he casually drapes an arm around Mikoto. He figures looking at cherry blossoms is a nice, relaxing activity for a couple. He expects his brother to want references. He has no sense of awkwardness over public displays of affection.

He likes it best when Mikoto shows excitement over the flowers, though he's still adorable when blushing. The effects the redhead draw in his brother's manga would make the perfect background.]

[ Nozaki had to show up. this was the perfect time to take photos and to watch everyone to get ideas for his manga. but there was one thing he didn't count on. that memory flooding back. why on earth was it stuck in his brain like this?! every night and day he was worried about Chiyo and if she was okay or not!

he makes his way over to one of the trees, hunched over from lack of sleep and going extremely slow. he almost looks like he's getting sick which isn't good either... ]

[Well, this sure was a beautiful gathering. Karla takes a helping of sandwiches, cookies, and tea, and finds herself a picnic mat to sit on. She takes a moment to admire the shapes of the food items.]

Well, this is nice... [She remarks to herself before she begins to eat.]

[She's content to sit and eat by herself, but she certainly won't refuse company.]

Ted's circle dance had gained momentum, so much so that it temporarily mutated into a conga line, roving through the festival grounds. Hand-in-hand, it's participants frolicked with frightening speed, and only gaining more. Then they spotted their quarry: one lonely sword princess.

In unison, they hollered as they spotted their latest participant, and they cared not whether she were willing. Though Ted was not at the front, his spirit was with the one who was, holding out his hand irresistably. The message was clear: Assimilate, or else.

[Being a good host, Labrador is walking around, making sure everyone enough food and drink.]

Hello! Thanks for coming! I hope the food is to your liking. Would you like more tea?

[Zoisite, not show up for something that celebrates cherry blossoms? And aww, he actually looks happy for a reason that doesn't involve hurting innocents and tricking Sailor Guardians! He's standing under a tree with a cup of tea in one hand, sipping slowly, admiring the view. Cherry blossoms are part of his everyday life, using their petals to teleport and attack, but he almost never gets to see them in bloom like this.

It feels oddly nostalgic for some reason, and his smile turns a bit wistful. If Kunzite were here to enjoy this with him it would be perfect.]

[It's definitely a nostalgic scene. How many centuries had it been since Caster had seen a flower viewing ceremony take place. She hears the comment and can't help herself:]

I know I am but I'm already spoken for~

[Then she blushes as if she didn't realize what she just said.] I suppose the flowers are, too.

[Medicine had left the park for a while, scavenging and exploring. She and Su-san, her little doll companion, hadn't expected this much activity in their unofficial home. It makes her frown and try to move people away from a particular tree that she's fond of.

People probably would take her warnings more seriously if she wasn't such a small doll, barely knee-height.]

Completely oblivious to any warnings Charlotte wandered very much into Medicine's tree-space, stumbling a little on her short legs. Inevitably she did end up tripping, tumbling a short distance right into Medicine. The little witch barely half the height of the living doll and far less threatening with her squishy-soft body. Like a plush toy.

She rolled over, taking a good few seconds to struggle back up to her feet, sleeve covered hands held out to either side as she regained her balance before dropping back down. It was only then that she actually seemed to notice Medicine's presence.

"Hello. Do you have cheese?"

Koishi? Miss a party with cherry blossoms? Not a chance! The little youkai had not quite recovered from her ordeal with the bay and lights, but she was certainly doing better. And viewing the cherry blossoms was just what the moon doctor ordered.

She drifted into the party, third eye bobbing from side to side. She was dressed in her usual sunny yellow shirt and green rose print skirt. She had swapped her hat ribbon out with a long yellow one, several dried roses slipped into the knot. She was quite relaxed for now. No doubt she would be excited by something later on. But for now, she was content.

Oh, a new guest to the party! Labrador walked over to welcome her as a good host should. He was slightly surprised when he saw her third eye but he didn't let that bother him and there was no change in his demeanor. There were all sorts here after all.

"Hello! Thanks for coming! Would you like something to eat or drink?"

"Koishi!" Midboss was glad to see her doing a little better after the Kefka's tower incident, to be honest. And thus, he headed over to go talk to her.

[After he'd heard about the gathering, Blaze was certainly curious to investigate it when the event arrived. He'd never heard of a 'hanami party' and he'd never seen cherry blossoms in person before, so he was certainly pleasantly surprised to actually see it for himself. It was a nice change from the stresses of coming out of a war in one world and being thrown into adjusting to life and researching employment in an entirely different place.

He stood under one of the trees, mostly admiring the party from a distance. He felt uncertain about the idea of approaching anyone just yet, if at all, so he was content where he was. Gazing at the cherry blossoms alone was enough for him for the moment.]

[Labrador notices the man standing apart from everyone and being a good host, he goes over to welcome the stranger.]

A hanami festival, here? Izanami could hardly resist...the event was one she held dear to her own heart. Thus, she wondered into the park, dressed in a long white kimono accented with red and black detail. She explored for a little while, before taking a seat against one of the trees, admiring the view.

Ted was making rounds, and who should he see but someone who, apparently belonged to a very wealthy madhouse in deed, given the detail of her straitjacket. Er, kimono. Luckily she wore her contacts, and thus no more blood eyes. Nothing seemingly dead around her, either. Good news, all around.

"Glad to see you enjoying the party. How have you been?"
