[Action]

[The newcomer had enjoyed his swim until the robots showed up. Chasing them didn't seem to do anything, so he gave up and hesitantly left the Bay in hopes of finding somewhere peaceful and without any more creepy metal people. Or meeting Thoth. Either would be fine.

So now in Nova City, there is a young man shaking out the excess moisture from his hair without caring that he's getting anyone else wet. He holds the sleeves of his jacket up, looking at people suspiciously, and quickly scampers off to the shadows. He understands he was brought here against his will. It isn't the first time, but this place is a lot more intimidating than Zeus' garden. He just wanted to find someone he knew, or better yet, return to the garden. He curls up with the jacket, feeling something in his pocket. Oh yeah, there was that weird thing that was supposed to help him talk to people. He pulls the videophone out, staring at it warily.]

Kaa?

[If only Thoth was here, he could definitely explain how to use it. He pulls out the pamphlet, which is now wet, and starts to read the instructions...until he finds it to be too much work and tears them out in frustration instead.]

Kabara! Bara!

[Stupid communication thing! He begins pressing buttons at random, digging his nails into the sides and trying to pull it apart. Maybe if he sees how it works he'll be able to make it do what he wants. Probably not.]

[Video]

[He accidentally turns on the video feed without realizing it, so now anyone watching is going to see an annoyed looking God moving the videophone around so it doesn't focus on one thing for more than a second.]

Kabara! Kaa!

[Finally, he gives up and throws the device on the ground. It wasn't doing what he wanted and he didn't see anyone familiar anyway. He huddles against the wall and doesn't move. Maybe he'll come out if most of the people go away.]

[ Oh. He wants to wash it. She's got it. Okay! ]

You want to rub it with the sponge, which has soap in it. The soap will make sure to kill any germs it might've picked up on the floor that we can't see.

Kabara? (Will you tell me more about germs?)

[He starts rubbing the sponge in delicate, fluid motions, taking care to clean all of the openings.

Eventually, he gets distracted by the bubbles, and drops the colander into the sink to try and catch them with his hands.]

Um, that is.. [ he seemed to be asking about something, but he got the cleaning down, so.. Maybe the germs. ] Germs are like bacteria, viruses, and fungi that are tiny enough that you can't see them with your eyes. They can make you sick if you aren't careful. Or, well, they can make humans sick anyway.. But if you have the limiter from Zeus-san on, you should be careful anyway, since you may have to worry about it while the limiter is on..

[ She's not 100% sure about that, or if Anubis has a limiter, since she hadn't seen him before it was put on- she has no idea what's jewelry or what's suppressing powers. ]

Kabara. [He shudders, his hair sticking up at its ends, just thinking of the tiny creatures that might be all over them. He thinks he remembers Thoth once speaking about a device they could use to see really small things. Even better than a magnifying glass...

But he doesn't remember its name. Still, he's knows about illnesses, and what they do to humans, as well as all living things.]

Kabara bara. (It's scary.)

[ He definitely looks freaked out now, so Yui holds her hands up defensively. ]

You don't need to worry. That's what the soap is for. As long as you wash anything that falls on the ground, it'll kill the germs so you won't get sick.

Bara? (Have you ever been sick before?)

[It's difficult for Yui to understand him, so he tries pointing at her to communicate his question. There are still some suds around, so he picks them up with his hands and starts flinging them around.]

Kabara! (It's like a cloud of bubbles!)

Me? Ah, yes, I've been sick before. It's not always preventable, unfortunately, but we can usually make it through it.

[ The pointing seems to have gotten the point across, and Yui ends up laughing a little as she watches him play with the bubbles. ]

Having fun?

Bara. (I don't want either of us to get sick! But I want to learn more about germs...)

[He stops and runs up to her, holding out his hands.]

Kabara! (It's fun!)

[ Yui gives him an inquisitive look when he comes to her with the bubbles, eventually settling on giving them a gentle blow, which hoists a few of them up into the air. ]

How's that?

Bara! [He dive tackles the bubbles, not paying attention to the fact that Yui is nearby.]

[ Hello gravity my old friend.

Yui isn't quite sure what happened, but the next thing she knows, she's on her back on the hard tile, wincing. Not quite a soft landing on flowers this time... ]

[Huh. That's weird. Anubis just helpfully stays where he is, listening to Yui breathe. He should be afraid, but he's just confused...

He stares at her as if hoping she'll answer his unvoiced questions, jumping up and trying to grab her hands to pull her up.]

Kabara ka? (That was fun! Are you hurt?)

[ She stares up at him while he is the most helpful individual around, until he actually helps her up. ]

I managed to keep my head from hitting the floor at least. [ Yui rubs her back for a moment after she's up. ] Are you alright, Anubis-san?

Bara. (I'm glad you're unharmed.) [He nods to answer her question, playing with his sleeves. Humans are fragile.]

[ Nods are very easy to understand, so she smiles back. ]

Maybe you should only play with bubbles in the bathtub, alright? That way no one risks getting hurt. I'll show you how to use a bubble bomb later, I'm sure you'll enjoy that.
