WHAT: Housewarming party!
WHERE: The Manga House in Genessia
WHEN: In the afternoon, around 2pm

Surprise everyone! There's a new house that's come on the block of Genessia and the inside looks like this!

Nozaki has sent out invites to everyone and has cooked a wonderful little traditional Japanese meal for everyone that comes over. Most of this is to celebrate the release of his manga and to celebrate their new home. He looks excited as he's cleaning and everything once everyone gets situated inside "The Manga House".

"Everyone, I hope you're ready for all of our visitors today." he paused, going to take his apron off and put it into the kitchen, "Mikoshiba, no hiding. Kashima, if you have to, take him under your wing while you socialize. Hori, make sure no one is stealing things from our house and no one goes upstairs to our rooms. Mayu, stick by Mikoshiba or me if you want to. I'm not that worried about you honestly. You usually know what to do."

He clapped his hands together, "Okay! We're all set then."

Satsuki's gaze shifts toward Nozaki once he approaches; the bunny ears are certainly difficult to miss that's for sure. And yet she can't help but feel that she's.. Missed something. "I appreciate the welcome," she replies, trying (and failing) to soften her expression. She reluctantly accepts the cake afterward. "And congratulations on your new home."

Mayu isn't far behind; the moment he arrived if anyone had sensed any sort of tensity from her before, it's faded some at this point. "I am glad to have the opportunity to meet everyone at once- I had little idea your group had grown so much since we last met." meant in a 'good for you' manner, of course.

Ah, and then Mikoto. The height of the brothers can only do so much as the red-head's nervousness is far too simple for her to pick up on. Rather than draw attention to it, she pretends not to notice for the time being. "Satsuki Kiryuin; I am the current Guardian of Nova City." she offers her hand to shake, then speaks to everyone. "Nozaki Mayu and I met last year at a Halloween party; he was dressed as Sanshiro Sugata- I was quite impressed with his choice of costume. Not long after that I asked him to teach judo to one of my younger associates. You must be proud to have such an efficient and driven brother."

"Ah?" Nozaki blinked a few times actually. His brother? Driven? Wow. He usually slept and avoided responsiblities.

"Mayu must've changed a lot without us here. Well, he had to deal with more responsiblities."
But now wasn't the time to even talk about it. He bowed to the other, realizing how rude he was being.

"Thank you for looking after Mayu in my absence. I appreciate it. You can call me Nozaki-kun, if you'd like. ~~Everyone else pretty much does, except for Mayu.~~"

Kashima breezes towards Mikoshiba, the action looking every bit as easy as it is calculated. She can sense the tension radiating off of him, and Nozaki did ask her to keep tabs on him anyway. She casually bumps his shoulder encouragingly, the hand closest to his squeezing his hand in reassurance. It would only be obvious to someone looking very closely, and all things considered she thought she had kept the action subtle enough. A far more serious expression crosses her features and she also bows politely to Satsuki, after shaking hands as offered. ~~You are damn lucky she didn't kiss your hand, Satsuki.~~

"It's a pleasure to meet you, Kiryuin-san."

Standing back upright, she tilts her head. "The Guardian position in Nova City? You're about our age, aren't you?"

Curiosity has overridden her need to act like a prince, at least for the time being. This is better for everyone present, most likely.

"Nozaki.. kun.." Satsuki pauses for a moment, then responds with a seemingly approving nod. That works just fine since she'll probably be speaking with both brothers a bit now and then. "I confess he has done more for me than I have for him; but you're welcome."

Her attention then shifts to Kashima. Really, there is just something strange about him? Her? There's something charming about her so perhaps it's safe to assume she's a he for now. "That is possible; though after my mix-up with Nozaki, I am not entirely certain how old the lot of you are. I turned nineteen in November. You could say I come from a militant culture, so the position does come rather natural to me. Do you all work in the manga industry?"

"What all has Mayu exactly done for you while he's been here?" Nozaki might be suspicious now...

MAYBE HIS LITTLE BROTHER IS A PLAYER AND TWO-TIMING MIKOSHIBA.

He does have the looks for it...

Nozaki can't help but give a short laugh. All of them? In the manga industry? Please. They all might be assistants but the true star/genius here is Nozaki himself, "No, I'm sorry. I'm the only one who is a mangaka. Oh, happy belated birthday as well." Nozaki, stop. It has been too long to even say that!! "The majority of us were still in school and only in clubs. I was the only one with what would be the equivalent to a full time job. Mayu is still in junior high."

It has been far far too long indeed; so when he wishes her a belated happy birthday, she just stares at him for a moment. Not nearly enough to make it awkward at least. ".. Thank you. But I understand now. Normally I would bring mention to the Academy here in Genessia City, but the program in it's entirety needs some reworking. But in the future I would like to ask for your groups thoughts on some academic-related questions."

"As for what he has done; he has been training one of my associates, Luke Triton, in judo. He was in a bad place at the time- And still is in a way, but I believe he has been changing for the better ever since. He can connect to Luke in a way that I cannot."

Nozaki blinked. Someone...needed his opinion? Honestly?! He kind of stared for a few moments, "...That would be fine. Just let us know in advance."

He gave a nod, smiling lightly when she was talking about Mayu. All these things that he had been doing without them all here... It made him so proud. He leaned his head down, wiping tears from his eyes before exclaiming,

"I'm so proud of him!"

Someone will act ~~appropriately~~ less strangely than everyone else at the party.

"It's good to hear Mayu-kun can use some of his skills from home!"

Often she feels that she looks at Mayu much like she looks at her own younger sister. And she's happy to hear that Satsuki had encouraged him to be involved--someone had to.

"I'd be honored to help you however I can, Kiryuin-san." Just pick directed tasks. And minimize distractions. Kashima's at the top of the class...and has the attention span of a flea.

Ok.

What is happening here.

Satsuki can somewhat understand the joy of being proud of ones siblings. Sort of. But to be moved to tears, it's like watching a giant bawling his eyes out watching a soap opera. Awk-ward.

And then Kashima goes full sparkle. Satsuki actually finds herself at a bit of a loss for a moment as her cheeks take the slightest tinge of red. Normally she wouldn't get flustered; obviously she has loyalists at home but there's something about this 'young man' that is making it difficult to brush off. "R- Right... Thank you." She also reaches into her pocket to produce a white kerchief for the older Nozaki.

"Which way to the restroom?"

Mikoshiba might be blushing when Satsuki talks about Mayu, but he doesn't cry at least. In fact, he looks like he's suffering from a lot of second-hand embarrassment on Nozaki and Mayu's behalf by the way he's hiding his face.

"He always does well when he's motivated to do something," he mumbles. But knowing a City Guardian was also impressive. He's too shy to speak to her immediately, allowing Kashima to handle the conversation. And Nozaki, he guesses. Mostly Kashima. But he has to help now. Satsuki asked them to. So he practically shoves Nozaki aside.

"The bathroom's that way!!!" He announces with too much enthusiasm, pointing. He continues on without thinking.

"Just ask me if you need anything. I'm an expert when it comes to academic life and the rivalries and love relationships involved in it!"
