[There's a loud burst of childish laughter, as high-pitched and bright as any child.]

Hey! I bet some of you were wondering what happened to that loud-talking man. The one with red hair. Um--Roaming Torchwax or something?

[She giggles some more.] Well. He's probably not feeling too good. I was generous not to kill him but he's probably really ashamed right now. That's what you get when you mess with dollkind.

[Beat.]

So, do I get paid or something now?

A small sigh came over the phone, the voice of the elegant maid following shortly after. "Medicine." A pause. She didn't know who this "Roaming Torchwax" was (and suspected that wasn't actually his name) but she, at the very least, didn't want to see the impulsive little doll get in trouble.

"... What exactly happened, if I may ask?"

[THis news was both interesting and concerning.]

You mean Roman Torchwick? Might I ask what exactly you did to him?

"This lady, um, Schnee was having trouble with this other human. Torchwax. She was paying money to see him captured. I fought him! I won but he managed to escape."

She sounds proud. "He wasn't that tough."

I poisoned him. He won't smoke again, heh.

[Kashima doesn't really side with Torchwick--she doesn't know enough about him to go one way or the other, frankly. But she's not really in support of violent attacks, regardless of the reason why.]

You know, there are police and such here. At least, I think there are. A little princess like you shouldn't have to handle such dirty work!

[That's...NOT HOW YOU ADDRESS THIS CONCERN, KASHIMA]

[Now that it's video...judging by the surroundings? The girl talking isn't normal kid size. She's smaller.]

[Don't worry--the statement is said completely honestly and without irony.]

That's not really important, though--are you all right? If he's as bad a guy as some of the people around here have said, then you could end up hurt messing with him!

[She did end up getting hurt...not that it was visible now.]

[Roman had been almost ready to move on and forget about the whole incident. He's got bigger fish to fry. But no, she has to wait a month and then rub it in his face all over again. Kids these days...

The video is obviously addressed more to the rest of the city than to Medicine. He's impeccably dressed and looking as well as ever, and has his usual air of arrogance and condescension. He's even holding a cigar, though the end of it never quite makes it into the shot and there's suspiciously little smoke. Spoiler alert: it's not lit. He still can't smoke without feeling sick, but damned if he's letting her know that.]

Tsk, tsk. If anyone should be ashamed, I'd think it would be the one who's asking payment for services they didn't render.
