Who: Utsuho and anyone! (Although Satori and co. have first dibs to calm her down.)
Where: The Bay
When: May 26th, just after sunset.
What: There's a new arrival who comes in with a bang!
[Waking up in some weird pod thing in an entirely different environment was something no one, least of all Utsuho would have expected. So of course it stood to reason that she'd take drastic measures, right? This...this thing had kidnapped her!
It had to pay.
Considering the sun had just set, it was pretty easy to see from quite a distance. As Utsuho burst through the roof of the cavern, she summoned a small sun, illuminating the night sky. Anyone within a half mile or so may also hear warning klaxons.
...and then with a battle cry, she hurled it back down through the hole she'd made.]
Taaaaaaaake that!
[On the bright side, her kidnapper-pod thing was taken out. On the other hand, the blinding light and the resulting explosion of her attack colliding with the ground would likely disturb anyone within a fair distance from the impact.
...and with her apparent enemy defeated, she's sort of at a loss of what to do next besides stare at her handiwork with a victorious smirk on her face. That'll teach it to mess with her!]

"Nuclear... Hellfire- OKUU!" Leaping to her feet, Koishi actually left her ice cream behind. "Miss White! If you follow then you need to team up with Buggy! And be careful!"
Koishi shot into the air and toward the bay just as the sun fell from the sky causing a massive and blinding explosion. They would likely need a radiation cleanup crew to take care of this mess...
***
It did not take long for Koishi to make it to the bay flying at top speed. The little satori came into view with her arms spread, completely visible, and her eyes alight. She was headed straight for the bird-girl, her familiar voice rising above the crackle of nuclear fire below. "OKUU! HELLO!!!"
She managed to slow some before colliding with the hell raven, sending them both spinning a short distance, her hat knocked slightly askew. She was already nuzzling her sister's pet. "Okuu! Hello! I've missed you so much! I'm so happy to see youuu!" Already the tentacles had wound their way around Utsuho several times, though they fortunately weren't constricting her wings.

As she's sent reeling backwards, she nearly drops the box she'd found in her kidnapper-pod-thing. The one with shiny stuff in it.
There's a sort of awkward pause as she tries to think about this, her wings beating slowly.]
...you missed me? But I thought I saw you earlier...
no subject
"Do you know where you are Okuu? It's a place called Genessia! Isn't that great?" She was hovering closer now, third eye moving up and squishing itself against the hell raven's cheek. "It's a really fun place! I bet you'll like it a lot!" A pause. "Oh! And Sis is here too! She'll be so happy to see you I bet!"
no subject
[That's pretty much all she can think of. All that time difference stuff just goes right over her head. It's too confusing, so she doesn't bother trying to figure it out.]
Who kidnapped us? I'll destroy them! [That is clearly the best solution. Of course, that's pretty much Okuu's solution to anything she doesn't like. Most of Koishi's words just go right by her until she mentions Satori. Which makes the hell raven perk up a bit.]
Satori was caught too?! Where is she? [She may or may not be shaking Koishi now with a look of urgency. Please tell her that her master is safe!]

Koishi had to take a moment to straighten her hat, brushing off her sleeves. In fact Koishi was dressed oddly. She was wearing white skirt and blazer with a black shirt underneath. The hat was the same for sure, but the ribbon had been changed.
"Sis is fine too. She's at home. Probably writing a little bit since its after mealtime." Koishi was already reinforcing her calming aura, trying to keep the hell raven from getting too excited again. "We'll go home soon, okay? But you have soot on your shoulders. Sis will get all fussy if you walk in like that." The longer Utsuho was here and exposed to Koishi's aura, the less overly-excitable she would be... Probably.

Sigh...
As suggested, Satsuki eventually joins the group with Junketsu activated and sword in hand, looking just slightly pale but annoyed and ready for a fight. Of course she takes into account that Utsuho and Koishi aren't fighting so is going to need a bit of a 'splaination. "Komeiji; report."
Translation: What is going on, and what is she even looking at?
no subject
[It's new, it's strange, and there doesn't seem to be any corpses in the vicinity! How could she possibly get used to it?
Honestly though, it'd be pretty easy.Koishi's calming aura was a good thing. It didn't get her to completely settle down, but it was helping. In fact it was the only thing preventing her from simply firing at the newcomer. However, Satsuki will find Utsuho's arm cannon aimed at her.]
Who're you?
no subject
"Okuu! Come down here!" She cupped her hands around her mouth. "This is my friend! Come introduce yourself!"
no subject
She isn't exactly clear what to 'be careful' for; but the most obvious thing would be the cannon arm so that is noted. Perhaps that was what released the radioactive energy even. A slight frown forms as she replies, "One should introduce themselves before asking the other's name."
no subject
Utsuho. [The raven mutters almost begrudgingly.]
no subject
She turned back to the hell raven. "This is Miss..." She paused to think. "...Satsuki. She's one of my best friends here so be really nice to her. I bet you would get along fine once you two got to know each other."
She glanced back at Satsuki. "Miss White? Could you give my sister a call? Then we can all go home as a family..." She looked almost apologetic. She knew full well what kind of issues this much destruction would cause. Or, at least, she could guess. She had no idea of the paperwork involved.
no subject
So she is both a pet and a three-legged crow? That rather quickly explains how Koishi knows her, and somewhat explains her ability.. In a way? But there is so much going on with Utsuho's attire it ends up raising even more questions.
Still, it seems they will need to wait. "I can do that; there will need to be several others I need to contact as well." she replies to Koishi, then looks to Okuu once more. "But first I would like to know how all of," she gestures to the mess. "this happened. It is not uncommon for new arrivals to go on their rampages, but I have not seen one of this extent before."
no subject
The moment the hell Raven looked away to focus on her blast, Koishi took a several large steps back, grabbing Satsuki firmly by the hand and dragging her along. Junketsu would undoubtedly protect her from the heat of the blast but one could never be too careful. Koishi held out a hand, a hardened magic shield forming around the two of them. "Fly up a bit and give it a really good shot Okuu! But don't let an fire fall on the city. The bright lights will make the sky dimmer. So be super-careful okay?" Despite her nerves she gave Okuu her best smile.
Real mixed messages there Koishi. Trying to protect Satsuki while egging Utsuho on. Truthfully the younger sister was hoping that this would help the hell raven blow off some steam. But not even the magic of the shield and the protection from Junketsu would be able to completely mitigate the heat if Utsuho really unloaded.
no subject
...then there's just this amused smirk when Koishi suggests that she show off. She can do that! Easy! Backing up is definitely a good idea, even as her wings beat to carry her up higher. The hell raven looked serious then as she focused, raising her arm up to the sky, the air around her heating up rapidly.
Her control rod began to glow at the tip, a brilliantly colored orb forming and growing, the light and heat only increasing by the moment. Then she fired, a small sun that expanded into a size about twice that of its creator, casting its light upon the city and illuminating the night, along with the wails of another warning siren.
And of course, Okuu hovering beneath it, looked like some harbinger of destruction, all three of her eyes glowing red, a wide grin encompassing her face.]
See my power?!
no subject
As Utsuho's energy flares into existance, Satsuki raises a hand to shield her eyes and the heat.. It's so intense that her body perspires rather quickly; Junketsu most certainly holds up, but of course such protection comes a price that leaves her with vertigo-like symptom and, for a moment, a sense of hopelessness.
"I.. See." Other than that, she's at a loss for words.
no subject
"Spectacular as ever Okuu!" The whole city was lit by the display, nearby plants starting to burst into flames. The water of the bay was steaming and bubbling. "Now put it away and come down here so we can see the stars!"
no subject
Well, at least the city got to see an extra two sunrises this evening. Her grin doesn't fade as she seems to slowly reverse the growth of her sun. The effects of it on the water and the nearby terrain doesn't bother her in the least.
But she happily flies back down to her master's sister and...friend.]
But the stars aren't as bright. [Yeah, she's bragging.]
no subject
Wow, youkai are terrifying.
Satsuki wipes off her brows with the back of her hand, "I.. Will have to pass and suggest you take your stargazing elsewhere. This area needs to be repaired before any other newcomers arrive- How about I have your sister meet you at the Academy?"
no subject
"But now you've made the stars brighter by burning away the clouds!" Koishi waited a moment for Utsuho to cool down a bit more before drifting over and giving her another hug. "And I think going to the Academy is a great idea. I get to fly over the city"
She let go and drifted a short ways back. "Do you want to ride on my shoulder Okuu? That way we wont have to match speed."
no subject
or Okuu'shands, it could be disastrous. However, apparently her being so dull is the reason it's so powerful. And getting Okuu out of the area before more strange people arrive is a very wise idea. It'll help prevent further damage to the area. The only part of their conversation she picks up on is mention of Satori though. Until Koishi hugs and begins speaking to her once her body had cooled down a bit.]
I guess?
[And in a little poof of feathers and light, in the previously kind of intimidating young woman's stead, is a much smaller raven, although she retains her ribbon, the eye of Yatagarasu, and a third leg.]
no subject
Well. That just happened.
If anyone needs Satsuki she'll just be somewhere over there.]
no subject
"I missed youuu Okuuuu!" She placed Utsuho on her shoulder, gingerly reaching up and scritching the back of her neck.
She addressed Satsuki next. "After you make your calls you should come visit us. Okuu can show you how the furnaces of old hell work. We don't have any corpses though so we wont be able to turn it up as much as normal, but it's certainly better than all the snow we're getting now."
And with a wave she took off in the direction of the academy, careful not to fly too fast for fear of throwing Utsuho off by mistake.
This seems like a bad decision on Laharl's part.
[Laharl had been napping nearby, nearing the second week of his nap at that, but the shock wave and intense heat had been enough to dry out the grass he was laying on and wake him up. As such, he was grumpy and glaring at Utsuho where she hovered, hands shoved in his pants pockets, just in case he needed to put the newcomer in their place.]
Oy oy oy! Knock that crap off. There are people trying to sleep 'round here.
no subject
With her temporary high on victory over the pod sating her for the moment, he catches her off guard.]
Oh, sooooooorry!!!!
no subject
[He grumbles a bit, not... expecting his scolding to actually work.]
You should be! I had a real nice patch of grass but now it's all dried out. Ugh what I wouldn't do for some bloodgrass though.
no subject
Can't you just go find some? [She's never heard of it before, though.
no subject
Not exactly something you can run out to the store to get. Stuff grows in the Gehenna Plains. If I had a Dimensional Gate, I'd be napping there instead of... here.
...freaking Dark Assembly taking its sweet time recognizing my claim to this dimension...
no subject
[Okuu, it doesn't work like that. She also completely missed the part about dimensions or whatever.]
What's a dark assembly?
no subject
Different. Dimension.
[He sighs, kind of annoyed that he once again has to explain what the Dark Assembly is.]
A group of demons in the Netherworld who's laws are written into reality. They should have processed my claim to this dimension by now, but they're all a bunch of lazy slackers that only show up when I call a meeting because they know if they didn't I'd kick their butts. But here, I can't do that. So I'm kinda stuck.
...freaking freeloaders...
no subject
[Well, sort of.]
She's not very fun though.
no subject
As much as I would like to have a word with them, I doubt you'll find them here. We're all kinda trapped here. Wherever "here" is...
no subject
no subject
Not unless you call a crater "home"...

Kid, you're talking to the strongest demon to ever live. If I can't blast a way out of here, you're not gonna be able to either.
no subject
...well, I ate a god and got some super cool powers!
no subject
I've killed things that even the gods are afraid of. Trust me, you're stuck.
[...Laharl, it's not a competition...]
no subject
no subject
Yeah, good luck with that, kid, but I'm gonna need ya to not pull that sort of crap while I'm trying to sleep. You wouldn't like me when I don't get my naps.
no subject
no subject
First of all, I nap wherever I damn well please. Secondly, you're not going to destroye it, because I'm not going to let you.
[He pulls his sword from his pants pocket, resting it on a shoulder.]
Trust me kid, you don't want to piss me off. I'm already grumpy from being woken up too soon.

Yeah and it'll be rebuilt by tomorrow. So, I'm going to say it again. You're not going to be blowing anything else up today. Got it?
