Most of that doesn't sound too different from things I know from back home... though the singing music magic thing is different.

... I guess. I mean, Caro wouldn't have her dragons kill anyone anyway. And unless you were a criminal or a poacher or something she wouldn't really be fighting you outside of practice to begin with.

What about non-summoned dragons?

They're surprisingly common, yes. Cave lairs, some live along the 'mortals' in the cities... You get the idea.
