[Action]

[When Gohan initially woke up, he was worried. He didn't know where he was, and didn't know what to expect. He immediately pushed his power level way down so as to avoid attracting unwanted attention while he figured things out.

Though if something had managed to bring him to an unfamiliar location without him realizing it until after it had happened, then it had to be more powerful than even he, a martial artist who had discovered a level even beyond that of Super Saiyan, was. As difficult as that was to believe.

When Gohan walks out of the bay, he's greeted by the hologram. After listening to what it says, he leaves the area, trying to find this welcoming agency. He's still not sure what to think, so rather than risk flying, he decides to walk. Best to look casual, even if you're wearing formal clothing.

He eventually arrives, and immediately begins trying to figure out what to do. If you happen to be there that day, you'll find a preteen boy walking around with a somewhat lost expression on his face and wearing a suit and tie, occasionally asking people for help.]

[Later, after Gohan gets some info, he decides to try his luck asking people about what to do here. He turns on the video feed.]

Um, excuse me! Can anybody hear this? My name's Gohan, and I just got here, and I don't have a place to stay. Can anyone help me with that? I mean, I'm still a kid, so I can't live on my own or get a job, so I don't know what to do.

... Umm, well, according to my Mom, I'm a couple of years older here than what she last remembers.

Really? Huh. I have to wonder how that works. I've never heard of any magic like that before.

Yeah... I have no idea how that works either. It... really doesn't make much sense. Time travel's pretty much one of the first things we're told is impossible to do when we start learning about magic.

Hm. I don't know about magic, but it's possible with technology back home. I've only ever seen a single time machine, though.

... I think it's supposed to be even more impossible with technology that doesn't use magic.

[ Though she had to admit, hearing that it was possible was kinda... well, cool. ]

What was it like?

[Well, there was no magic involved, that's for sure. Gohan might have questioned it if the person who had build it hadn't been Bulma.]

Um, I actually don't know. I never used the time machine. But I did know the person who did.

... Oh.

[ She paused for a moment, thinking... ]

You have seen it before though, right? What'd it look like?

Um...it was kind of like a pod, but with legs and boosters on the outside of it. Also the top half was the canopy, so it was completely clear.

... I guess that type of design makes sense. I mean, if you're doing time travel, it'd probably take a lot of energy, so making something big wouldn't really work out that well.

[ Of course, there was the issue that time travel was supposed to be impossible, even if it obviously wasn't since Gohan had seen it. ]

So... umm... why'd he need to go back in time in the first place?

Uh-huh. It could only hold enough energy to make two trips before it had to be recharged.

Um, it's kind of hard to explain, but...the future he came from was a bad one. He couldn't really change the future he came from, but he could come back and make sure that a better one existed. He could also come back in time to get information.

You see, his time had been terrorized by a pair of really powerful androids. I think they lasted for almost 20 years. So he came back to try to find any weaknesses they could have, help us out, then go back to his time and use what he learned to end them once and for all.

[ Vivio stared at Gohan for a few moments, because of course that would be the reason why someone would need to go back in time, and she really feels stupid for asking about it now. ]

Oh. I... I see. That's a pretty good reason to try going back in time.

[ Still, that last part is kinda confusing. ]

... But why couldn't he change what happened if he went back in time?

[He shrugs.]

I don't know. He just told us that he can't change his time, but he can create a new timeline. That was one other reason. As long as there was a timeline out there where the androids didn't ruin life on Earth, that was good enough for him and his mother.

That... okay, I have no idea how that makes sense, but I'm not the one who has experience with a lot of time travel happening.

Well, other than here, I mean. But that... that was really good of them. [ Yeah, being a different age than she should be for Nanoha-mama was just weird. ]

He was a good guy. I guess future me taught him well, eheh...

[Though now he's a little bit embarrassed.]

... Wait, he actually told you that you were the one who trained him?

[ Oh right, doesn't affect his timeline anyway. ]

That must've been pretty weird. I mean, only being a couple of years ahead of my mom is already weird enough for me.

Uh, well, he didn't say it to me directly, but I heard about it. He told Dad, and I kind of found out about it after we learned who he was. I didn't really pry, since I kinda...well, kinda died in that alternate future.

Oh. I... wouldn't really want to pry into that either.

[ Honestly, other than that, Vivio really has no idea what to say now. Because... wow. That was... yeah. ]

[Gohan may be socially awkward, but he does know how to read a mood. He changes the subject.]

So, anyway, I'm Gohan. What's your name?

[ Oh good a completely different and not sad topic to talk about! ]

I'm Vivio! It's nice to meet you, Gohan!

[ Anyway... ]

So, umm... do you have anymore questions that I can try to answer?

Um...I guess the big one is, am I heading in the right direction to reach the welcome center?

[ Vivio smiles, then thinks about it for a moment before turning and pointing in a slightly different direction. ]

For the most part, yeah. You're going to want to go that way though if you want to get there.

OK. And what does it look like?

Well, it's a pretty huge building, it's kinda hard to miss once you see it. They have a big sign and everything.

[ Though now that Vivio thought about it, maybe she should've paid a little more attention to how the building looked. She was more concerned with meeting up with Nanoha-mama last time to care too much though. ]

OK, good! Then I don't have to worry. See you, then!

[Gohan crouches for a second, then leaps high into the sky. Once airborne, he flies off in the direction that Vivio had told him.]

[ Vivio stared for a moment, before shaking her head and smiling before going back on her run. ]

I really need to get Nanoha-mama to teach me how to fly.
