001 [Video/Action at the Bay]
[Azalea emerges from her cocoon thing to see some sort of watery cave. She doesn't quite recognize it as a whole new world yet, because it looks very similar to a place in her own world.]
Wait...what am I doing in the Waterway?
[And alone, for that matter. She knows better than to stray from her clan alone. The last time she tried that, it ended very badly for her.]
[But she doesn't remember leaving the lair at all. When she did leave, she always had Malus and Amadeus with her. And they were nowhere to be found...nor were any of her other clan mates.]
[In a hurry to get out of this cave, Azalea flies at a good speed, but keeps her flight short to prevent exhaustion. Luckily, she happens to land near the hologram of a woman, providing information about this world and their situation. Azalea listens warily. This person looks like she could be from one of the Beastclans, but still different from any Beastclan she's seen.]
[The assured safety of the world itself doesn't do much to comfort the little Fae, though. She's far more worried about the danger within her own body. Without Orphne's medicine, the illness could rear its ugly head at any time.]
[But perhaps she wasn't the only dragon here. Technology wasn't too outlandish for her, as the Lightning dragons had their own brand. But this little communication device was quite different for Azalea. Still, she decided to try it out. Even if this wasn't Sornieth, she couldn't be the only dragon here.]
Hello? Can anyone hear me? Qubine? Coco? Orphne?
[Those were just a few of her friends' names that came to mind. But really, she'll take any dragon from Sornieth, even if she doesn't know them personally.]
Are there any other dragons out there??

[Though Terra's only recently arrived herself. She has the device placed on the grass and she's sitting in front of it. Where ever she is looks like there is plant life and the girl nestled in the center of the picture looks as if she belongs.]
You've just arrived. [She says so as a statement.] I'm sorry I haven't seen your friends.
[She tucks a loose strain of mint green behind her ear while staring at the screen. The young half Esper was usually more awkward but talking to the dragon, for some reason, is easier for her.]
[Still, it'd be rude to not say anything if this person was trying to help.]
...No dragons? Then what...what should I do? If I don't get home...
[She trails off there, not wanting to think about the plague that could creep up on her, to make her the dragon equivalent of bedridden...]
Maybe I can help? I don't know how to get you back home. I'm stuck here as well but... if there is something I can do...
[She wants to help except that all Terra knows is magic. Which doesn't feel like it will be all that helpful right now.]
[Perhaps she can learn if she can trust the people here...]
Maybe you can tell me about...yourself? Are you from one of the Beastclans? Are there other...people? And most importantly...how do they feel about...dragons?
[At least she seems like a nice dragon.]
As for the other things... well, I'm not sure. I've had my memories erased and they've only begun to slowly regain. I don't think my world has Beastclans. [At least not anymore.] My father had been an Esper named Madiun. My mother was human.
I don't know a lot about myself either. I'm sorry. It must sound strange.
[She thinks she's nice but sometimes her memories conflict that and she doesn't want to say she is something she isn't.]
[How's that for strange?]
Do you know about...other people here?
There are also sorts here. I don't feel that I can speak for them, nor do I know where they are from.
[She shifts a little awkwardly.]
Maybe if you had a look around first?
[Suddenly, she felt like she was asking too much.]
Perhaps I will look around for a little bit. Do you have...a name?
[She doesn't seem to mind answering her. Though thee is an awkward laps in the conversation before she finally speaks up again.]
I don't know if I can help but if you need something please let me know.
[She feels the awkward lap as well, but she ought to address her other fear.]
Do you know about...medicine?
[Terra feels her features shift slightly in confusion.]
I know some about medicine. Most of the healing I know involves magic.
Thank you. I was hatched during the Greenskeeper Gathering, and my colors fit the nature theme, so my clan's matriarch gave me this name.
[And good, someone knows magic and healing.]
Ah...I'm glad. So at least I'll have someone who can help me if my plague acts up...
[Terra looks a little worried at the screen.]
Are you alright?
I will do everything I can to help.
[Magic is something that she is very confident with.]
[Azalea gives her a smile again. But if she can't get home, she'll need a safe place to rest.]
Do you know a place where I can...settle?
[As it was Terra liked to nap under trees. She didn't feel comfortable in an Inn but she needed a place until she could get settled.]
[Azalea's lair is all trees, so napping under trees would be perfect.]
My inn is right next to the park. [Terra, similarly, really likes the park and at times prefers to sleep outside.]
If you look on your map, it should be the small green mark towards the west.
So once I leave the Bay, I'll be in...Genessia City, right?
[It’s a fairly easy to read map, at least Terra thought so but that doesn’t mean that people don’t get lost.]
If you can’t find your way I can come find you. [She at least knows where the bay is.]
I see it on the map. I should be able to find my way if I fly.
Alright.
In comparison to how easy it is to spot the wingspan of the dragon, Terra's green hair and pale features made her almost blend with the forest around her. The only thing that makes her stand out is her bright red dress.]

She stopped short. What in the... Huh. She drifted closer, head tilted to one side. A little dragon? Still unseen, she shrugged after a moment and drifted over, reaching up and very gently plucking her right out of the air. This would certainly be enough for the dragon to notice her.
Koishi clearly knew how to handle flying creatures, quickly smoothing the dragon's wings by her sides so they wouldn't get damaged, supporting her body so she would feel secure. The youkai was being very gentle but her strength was far beyond any human.
"Hello little one. Please don't shake, you're safe, okay?" Hopefully Koishi's calming aura would be enough to prevent full on panic, else she may be going home with some scratches. "I'm Koishi Komeiji. I'm a satori youkai and I really like little things."
no subject
Here she was, suddenly finding herself in a new world and being taken away by something...she didn't know what a "satori youkai" was. It didn't seem like a Beastclan, but it was still clearly not a dragon.
"Don't...please..." she sobbed. "Let me go...h-help!"
no subject
Drifting over across the bay Koishi sat down under a tree with the little dragon in her lap. "There now." She reached up to scratch at her ears. "You're much cuter where its brighter and the light can do your colors justice. You're very green too! Just like me, and bulbasaur too. But he's sleeping right now."
Now that she wasn't restraining the poor thing, it was easier to get a look at this would-be kidnapper. She looked very much like a human child, though she very clearly wasn't. Her scent was completely different with eyes that glowed with an inner light. A baseball sized eye, blue and closed, hovered next to her. It had two fleshy cords attached which looped around her body and connected at the ankles. Arteries perhaps? The bit over her left shoulder had looped itself into a loose heart. She was dressed in bright colors topped with a slightly worn sunhat.
"You're so cute and sweet. You have big pretty eyes and adorable ears. I really like you." More petting. "And your mind is lovely too! Bubbling and overflowing with tree-roots and criss-crossing lines too bright to look at. And colors! So many! And so sweet. You must be really strong!"
If Azalea tried to sense her magically it would be a completely different story, however. Difficult to detect, it was almost like her presence had been completely inverted. Probably explaining the strange invisibility from before.

Azalea looked up at the person now, forcing herself to calm down. All the panicking was exhausting her, which would give the plague a chance to act up. She was already starting to feel weak from it. She couldn't say that the petting was unwelcome, though. Perhaps it helped with her calming down.
"What...what are you going to do with me...?"
no subject
"There aren't any dragons where I come from. At least, none that I've seen. Miss Gaps said that a great dragon-god, big enough to fill the sky helped create Gensokyo. It's a kind-of sanctuary where youkai live. But that kind of dragon looks different. You look more like the dragons I've seen in Fayren, but none of them were as tiny as you. They were big and breathed fire and growled at me after I brought them a deer. I wanted to share it with them but they just took the whole thing and glared at me until I left. It was very rude."
A pause, the satori looking down at Azalea, pursing her lips. "Worry and crackle dark washed over with red and indigo blue. Really really dark. Are you okay little dragon? Do you not feel well?"
no subject
"I've never heard of Fayren..."
She averted her gaze at the last question. "Ah...I have this...plague. I think it's trying to act up again."
She couldn't help trembling inside again. What if it acts up to the point where it immobilizes her? She'd definitely be in trouble without any medicine or healing.
"Maybe...if I find somewhere safe to sleep...maybe I'll feel better..."
no subject
"You're gonna come with me, okay? Sis will have something to help you. I'm sure of it. She has all sorts of animals and she has to help them when they get sick." The third eye drifted closer to Azalea, gently nudging her face. It seemed to be the source of that strange emptiness that surrounded the youkai. "You can tell me about it on the way there. If Sis or Fayren's magic can't help you then Nova City probably can. They have all sorts of special medicines and science there."
And with that said Koishi took two steps, her body coiling as she leaped into the air, flying quickly toward the Fayren gate. Without wings, no less. She wasn't flying terribly fast but she kept one hand on the little dragon's back to keep her wings from getting caught by the wind.
no subject
Azalea looked away as she thought about the friends she's lost. "The only reason I'm even active is because the Gladekeeper treated me with her magic...but even she couldn't cure me completely. And then Orphne makes medicine for me and the other sick dragons..."
She tried her best to relax as the youkai suddenly started flying, though she was surprised that she could even fly without wings.

Fayren likely looked and smelled far more similar to what Azalea was used to. Koishi remained in the air for several more minutes before angling herself down, landing very lightly near a stone staircase leading down. "Sis and I live in a sub-archway underground. It's a little dark but don't be scared, okay? It's a really nice place and we even have an underground sun. You can meet her if you like. She's really nice. Just don't ask her to show off or she'll surely melt something and then Sis will be irritated."
no subject
"A sub-archway? And an underground sun?"
At least Azalea wasn't too scared of the dark. She could use a fire-based spell if she needed to, if there was a torch to light up or something. That shouldn't exhaust her too much.

"Yeah. That's how we stay warm in Old Hell. Since its abandoned and no one is there to run the furnaces we have to run them ourselves. Just a little bit makes everything pleasantly warm and not hot. Because nuclear hellfire is really really hot."
She carried the little dragon through an old, half decayed door, revealing a portal set into the far wall of an old pumping station. The frame looked like it was made of jagged metal and the surface showed a rippling image of what was beyond. Fortunately it was well-lit for the moment so the distorted image of the normally imposing palace didn't look too scary.
"I'll check right away if there's any medicine I can get you. I'll bring all kinds out. Do you think you will recognize what kind you need?"
no subject
She frowned at the medicine question, though.
"I...don't know how Orphne makes her medicines. I know she's used some Serthis poisons to treat bite wounds, but that was applied externally. I don't know what kind she gives me either...just that it keeps the plague at bay."
Kind of like an immune system booster or something.

She passed through the portal, the imposing structure that was Chireiden standing before them. Koishi didn't bother going inside, walking around the building to the back. There was a vast garden here filled with all manner of plants and animals. Some insects too, though probably not as many as the little dragon would like. Considering the pets it wouldn't be surprising if some insects were raised for food somewhere on the grounds.
Koishi set the little dragon down on the grass, walking over and picking up a tin cup, filling it from a freshwater spring that seemed to trickle from a stone spike driven into a larger rock. It must have been a magic spring.
She brought it over to the dragon. "Here. The spring was made by a nice frog goddess and the water is really pure. It makes my head feel better when it cracks and rolls away."
no subject
"Oh...thank you..."
She sipped from it slowly. It was somewhat refreshing, but she'd probably need to sleep soon.
