From Heads Unworthy [Video/Action]
Who: Spirit Albarn (cameraman), Laharl, Mid-Boss
When: Backdated to the 4th day of the event, evening
Where: Attleton Colosseum
The video started off sort of shaky looking with Laharl perched sort of on the lip separating the front row of the coliseum's seating with the arena floor.
"You broadcasting this?" he barks, looking slightly annoyed.
"Yeah, broadcasting. But why are you so intent on showing off this Vyers lookalike?" Laharl scowls at the cameraman for a second. "Sorry. Vyers, Mid-Boss, Dark Adonis. Whatever."
"If you're broadcasting, then I'll tell everyone." Laharl steps aside, a rather dapper looking fellow poised in the middle of the arena floor. He actually looked like he could be a relation to Laharl, just with a bit more refinement and class to his look.
"In the Netherworld, there was one demon who's rule was legendary. Unmatched in ferocity, strength, and cunning. One that none dared challenged, who's reputation was known across alternate dimensions even. King Krichevskoy. I am the son of Krichevskoy, and that demon--" he jerks a thumb at the man in the arena, "--is the closest thing we're going to get to Krichevskoy in his full power. There's a reason I call the man everyone here knows as 'Vyers' Mid-Boss. Because he was reduced to a shell of his former self, but now it seems like some of that has returned."
He centers himself in the camera once again, his aura of black flames engulfing him as he pounds a fist against his chest.
"Today I will show all of you why I am the Overlord of this place. Today I will show the world that I have surpassed Krichevskoy once and for all!"
[OOC: Okay, so here's how this is all going to happen. The first thread will be Laharl and Vyers duking it out with Laharl eventually killing Mid-Boss. Everyone else is free to do reactions/post-fight threads if they desire~!]

The yell at the end - the flare of dark power - finally caught his attention.
Ever since he made that broadcast, he knew it was only a matter of time before Laharl turned up to try and prove himself...and here he was.
Midboss-- no, Krichevskoy, cracked his knuckles, yelling up to the stands:
"I did wonder when you would show up to challenge me in person, Laharl."
Nothing? Even now, he still felt nothing?

Laharl jumped down from his perch, pulling his sword from his pants pocket as he fell. He narrowed his eyes dangerously as he approached, allowing the point of the blade to drag on the ground next to him.
"I don't know what you're trying to pull, but at least I can prove to this place just who is the top dog around here."
no subject
"Do you really think I am attempting some grand stunt? I am proving a point," he said calmly, "You will fall, soon enough. Your strength simply cannot rival mine."
no subject
"Wouldn't be the first time you've pulled some stupid stunt for attention." He rolled his shoulders as he brought his blade to a downward slanting position. "I killed Baal, conquered Celestia, repelled a human invasion, and have kept the Netherworld safe from multiple dimensions. I've already left you in the dust, old man."
no subject
"I don't need to pull a stunt for attention. I am the Greatest Overlord to ever live," he shrugged. "For all your achievements, has the Netherworld really accepted you as my successor?"

Laharl goes quiet for a moment. He's acutely aware of just how many demons are still resisting his rule. Sure, open hostilities had died out since he beat Lamington within an inch of his life, but he was sure that wouldn't last long. Zenon had been a useful distraction as well, with the reappearance of the God of Overlords, all eyes shifted to Veldime, buying him some time. Still, Laharl would not give up on the throne.
"Were... you were the Greatest Overlord to ever live..." He lowered his head for a moment, allowing himself to slip back into the petulant child's persona he used to hide his doubt. "But then you went and died... your time is over old man. I AM THE OVERLORD NOW!"
And with that he lunges forward with a Blade Rush.

He walked forward, calmly at first, but small flames were already sparking up beneath his feet. In an instant, he warped forward in a blast of fire to aim a powerful punch. Even if that missed, his speed picked up, shooting past to aim punch after punch after punch - hoping to knock Laharl into the air and keep going higher and higher.
Blazing Rush. This time, Midboss was not messing around.
Video;
[She knows that Mid-boss seems strange, but she's never liked fighting in general, much less what was going to happen.]
Video;
[Laharl didn't turn back toward the camera to respond, just calling over his shoulder.]
This is something I have to do, Flonne. As an Overlord, as a demon... as a son.

Would you rather I let him go around murdering people!? My vassals!? He's dragging Krichevskoy's name through the mud, and I cannot abide that.
