[ So, the excitement is over for now, and Lucy -wishes- she could say it was a new experience for her, but no. She was in Fayren, having left a quick note for Erza and Natsu (or caught up with one or the other) on her way out of town to pick her way to a spot to train and see where she was compared to where she had been. But first.. ]

Now that that craziness is overwith- [ Seriously, what was that even about. . .? ]

Is anyone out there handy with construction, or remodeling? My friends and I are going to be in need of some help in that field soon. I'll be here in Fayren, doing some training if you need to reach -

[ She is interrupted by the sudden voice of another young woman, that startles her so much she actually drops her video phone so the following only processes through in audio format ]

"Is it punishment time, Princess?"

Virgo! No, cut it out already! I'm not doing that -!

[ The feed ends there aaand it's probably for the best that way. ]

[ She had him to thank for that. She grinned at his reaction, reaching to pull him to his feet. ]

Come on, the sooner we get there, the sooner we can eat. Barring the time it takes me to cook, anyway.

[ It was always nice to see how eager he got for something so simple as a Lucy-cooked meal! ]

[He gladly takes Lucy's hand and stands up however he doesn't let go. Not even as he pulls Lucy away from the lake.]

Can't wait! You comin, Virgo?

[Since of course he's not gonna chase the spirit off now.]

[ She certainly wasn't going to complain that he didn't let go of her hand. Quite the opposite, her smile widening a bit more at that simple thing. She chuckled as he pulled her away from the lake though, glancing at Virgo. The spirit bowed once, because of course she'd come along. She didn't want to miss potential footage -err, incidents to report back to her Fluffy Master. ]

"It would be my honor, Mr. Natsu."

[ Lucy grinned as the spirit started to trot along with them both, reaching over to snag Virgo's hand with hers, thusly chaining them all together and tugging the spirit as Natsu pulled her along. Fortunately the inn wasn't far from where they had been training. Doubly lucky Lucy got permission to use the kitchen for cooking earlier too. ]

[He didn't even consider it an option that she might not enjoy it. After all it was hardly the first time. That and he was really happy about getting to have Lucy's cooking~]

Do we have to buy anything before we get there?

[Might as well get that out of the way if need be.]

[ Exactly. It would be some bizarro!Lucy to not want to hold his hand, or any kind of contact or just being able to be close to him. It was natural as breathing by now. And he was so happy she couldn't help but be happier because of it. ]

Nope! I picked up everything I'd need before coming out here.

[ Meaning she'd planned on making them all a Lucy-cooked meal tonight anyway. The food from the tavern was well and good enough, but there were some things that she missed. And with multiple city types out there, there was a much wider variety of food they could get at here, than back in Exsilium. ]

[Happiness was the best infectious mood one could ask for.

[Hah so you've been planning this for a while. Now I really can't wait to see. Especially since the markets here have a lot more stuff than what we had to make do back in Exsilium.

[ Inhabitants of Fayren have probably become used to the sight of the two of them together; though now it was probably strange with Lucy dragging Virgo along with them. ]

Well, we can't keep eating at the tavern right? Besides, I miss cooking. [ For him especially. ]

Once we're settled in properly with a more permanent place I'll be able to stock things better. But you're right... It's almost funny how much I've missed some of the things that we couldn't get back in that other world.

[He wasn't going to start caring about rumors about the two of them. Hell it wasn't like they were doing anything bad. Just going around together most of the time.]

I can't wait. Though I think Erza's gonna want to cook too after a while.

[Since Titania never could handle being outdone by anyone.]

Hmm yeah. I hope people back there manage to sort it all out.

[Honestly he felt a little guilty for settling into this new place that was considerably better off than Exsilium.]

[ So far Lucy hasn't heard any rumors about the two of them, and she wasn't even thinking about the possibility of rumors. Though it wouldn't be a surprise for there to be some at this rate, as much as they were together. ]

It'll be all strawberry cakes, I bet. Or just one huge one. [ And one little one for everyone else. She chuckled briefly, sobering only at mention of the way things were back there. Absently giving his hand a reassuring squeeze, she shook her head. ]

I'm sure they are. There were a lot of strong people there still, when we were sent back. I bet things worked out for the better.

[ Believing in the friends she had back there, much as she missed a number of them, was the best way she had to cope with it. It was saddening to think she wouldn't see them again, but selfishly, she couldn't help but thinking it was fine as long as she had her guildies with her. And Natsu showed up the same day with her this time. She didn't have to wait for him. ]

[They were bound to start. Especially with Virgo and the other spirits around to propagate them. Except Loke of course.]

Sounds about right and that's if we're lucky.

[Titania's passion for strawberry cake was legendary. When she squeezes his hand he returns the gesture and smiles slightly.]

Yeah. Lots of crazy strong people were there. Maybe once they're done there, they'll end up here if they don't end up home.

[ Oh yes, and given what holiday was coming up the spirits were going to have a FIELD day reminding Lucy of a certain thing. Except Loke who might have plans of his own. ]

You don't think she's going to go crazy with it do you?

[ Suddenly imagining a mount of cakes and pastries and steaks and such, Lucy found herself pulled out of the imagination zone by that return squeeze, her smile warming with the slightest pink tinge in her cheeks. Focus on walking Luce. Virgo helped in that regard by squeezing the wizard's other hand, not to be left out. Silly. ]

Yeah - it'd be nice to see them again, even though I'm sure they'd be happier if they were home. [ But if they showed up after that fiasco in Exsilium it'd be nice even if they were here for a little while. She quieted for a moment, wondering absently what her friends were doing back ther. ]

Plans of his own. Funny. Natsu had those too. Unfortunately they were terribly basic at the moment.]

Given how long she went without cake back in Exsilium, I'm surprised she isn't having fits.

[He nodded to her words.]

Yeah I know what you mean. Oh well . Whatever happens we'll get through it. All of us.

[ Basic is good though. Lucy would probably be pretty distracted the nearer That Day came too. Not just because she of course would have to get something special for him, but remembering what else happened. Okay mainly for what else happened. ]

Fits?

[ She laughed - paused. ]

You know, she did seem a little twitchy the other day. And she did leave earlier than usual - maybe she's gone to the other city to get some sweets?

[ And on reaching the Inn there's a pause, because she didn't really want to let go of either of her friend's hands. But it wasn't viable to just kick the door open either, so a bit reluctantly she let go of Virgo's hand and Natsu's, reaching forward to push the door open. Warmth from a bestie, and now warmth from the interior of the building wafting out. ]

I'll go and borrow the kitchen now - do you want to wait here, or in the room?

Oh man. Well it should be okay as long as she doesn't rob a bakery or something.

[Somewhere in the world, a certain read head would be feeling slightly murderous towards a certain couple right now.]

We'll wait here. It's more fun to eat at a big table~

[ Slightly. Maybe it will be their karma later for joking about such a thing. ]

Not even Erza would get THAT desperate. [ She hopes. Still as Natsu decides to settle there at a table, she nodded, turning to pad towards the innkeeper, exchanging a few words before following the woman into the back. Virgo watched Lucy go for a moment, and then settled down at the table across from Natsu.

Feels like Deja Vu doesn't it? All you need is Lyra. ]

I wouldn't be surprised if she did.

[He smiles seeing her off before getting a very familiar feeling from Virgo taking a seat at the other end of the table.]

Hey. That was a pretty good move you pulled during the spar.

[Surely that would be a safe topic.]

[ Oh sure, totally safe. Absolutely. ]

Thank you, Mr. Natsu. It was exhilirating to train against someone who is not a celestial spirit as well.

[ See? See how safe a topic that was? ]

And how did Mr. Natsu like Lady Lucy's move - the last one in particular?

[ Maaaaaybe not so safe. ]

[ Yep! Just two friends (two strange friends) talking about normal every day activities. No trolling here whatsoever.

If Mr. Natsu would prefer, I can ask Lady Lucy to re-enact the hold and you could have more time to consider a means of escaping it.

[ Natsu really should stop being so fun to tease for the Spirits. Really. ]

[ Ohohoho, did he now. Virgo looked intrigued, somehow keeping her pokerface perfect. Even though she was internally laughing at his immediate backpedal. ]

Of course. Mr. Natsu, you wouldn't possibly mean anything else, would you?

[ Nooooooooo, whatever would he possible mean? She wasn't going to dwell on that one long though, tackling the other half of his statement. ]

Then do you want to experiment with your ideas with Lady Lucy?

[ .. yep, she totally picked those words specifically. ]

What? of course not. I'm no pervert!

[Except he has tried to peek twice on Lucy and he did imagine her in clothes made out of paper when Michelle told the story of their childhood. But nope definitely not a pervert!]

Uh well I guess sometime in the future sure.

[Hopefully the distant future. So he can actually think of ways to escape.]

[ Of course not, Natsu! Definitely not a pervert! ... it's uh... evening the score, since Lucy's had more than one opportunity to see you without a shirt..! ]

I'm certain she will look forward to it. Lady Lucy often speaks highly of her time spent with you, after all. Especially in her writings.

[ Meanwhile! The spicy delicious and mouth watering smell of curry starts to waft out of the kitchen. ]

[Something about that giggle. It sends a chill down his spine. But then Virgo feeds him such a juicy bone he can't help but jump at it.]

She does? What does she usually say?

[ Gosh, why would it do a thing like that? Heh..heh.. ahem. And well, she SHOULDN't say but y'know, she should be an equal opportunity troll here. She folded her hands beneath her chin, pensive. ]

Well..

[ She paused at the sound of laughter from the kitchen, glancing in that direction, and then back to Natsu. ]

She has mentioned she is most comfortable with you present - that even if no one else were here, she would be happy as long as you were with her. And...

[ SUSPENSE. Have some. Virgo appeared to consider whether or not to mention another thing. ]
