Back at the afternoon of the 24th

[Blake shows up on the comm network leaning back against a wall with one arm wrapped around her ribs, wincing as she looks over her shoulders. She looks like a mess, scuffed up and battered looking. She glances once over her shoulder before turning her attention to the communicator.]

If anybody's free at the moment... I think I could use a ride.

[Her voice is a little strained, but anybody who knows her well enough can probably tell that means she's hurting worse than she's letting on.]

I... have some bad news about Yang.

[OOC: So the thread's still in progress but as the outcome's already decided I'm putting this post up anyway for the sake of keeping things moving along.

[Don't mind Ruby as she slowly approaches with the first aid kit, she's just trying to make you better Blake. She'll fumble with the kit a little to get it open, she's a little distressed to her about her sister like this.]

Well... At least we know she's out there. So we just have to find her and get her back in control of herself, right? That sounds... easy enough.

[It doesn't sound easy at all.]

[Sun wasn't sure at all how they could even go about that. But bringing her in would be the first step.]

So if we encounter Yang, and she's still not herself, we take her down? [Sun didn't really want to hurt Yang, but he didn't they would be able to bring her in unless they did. Otherwise, they all might end up in the same state as Blake, if not worse.]

Easier said than done.

[Take her down? They might have to but that wasn't her call to make. Slowly she turns toward Ruby, glancing down at the fumble when she tries to open up the first aid kit.]

I'm sorry. ... I hesitated to fight her and let her get away.

[Take Yang down? That was the absolute last thing Ruby wanted to consider at the moment. Unfortunately that was kind of the reality of the situation... She had no idea what to do.

She'll take some ointment out from the first aid kit and start to apply it to some of Blake's burns.

It'll take her a second to look up at Blake after the apology.]

Don't worry about it, you did what you could. I don't think any of us would have done any better.

[And it definitely wasn't his to make either, but it seemed better than letting her run amok. He looks to Ruby for a moment, he didn't envy the position this put her in. He then looks back to Blake.]

What was she doing when you encountered her?

[She winces a bit when Ruby starts putting the ointment on, but doesn't pull back.]

She was at the animal shelter in Attleton, getting... dogs. I'm not sure exactly what for.

[Yeah, she'd been back in that part of town. Maybe not the smartest move, but it had yielded some results in the end.]

[Once the ointments applied she'll move onto to start bandaging Blake's other injuries. Some of them might get wrapped a little too tight, and some may get way too much bandage than what they need. But Ruby's doing her best given what she just learned.]

Well we'll have to find her or Bison again to find out.

You went back there? Alone? [Don't be a solo act, Blake. Him or someone from your team should have been there to watch your back.]

So we continue the search but expand it to tracking him down too. [Cause if that guy has her, then finding him means finding Yang too.]

[Wince. Right. Maybe not the best move.]

I had a hunch, but that's not what's important right now. Does anybody have any idea where Bison might be keeping her when he isn't sending her out?

[And she glances toward Ruby and then down at her arm which is starting to resemble something out of a mummy movie.]

Um, Ruby? I don't think I need that many bandages.

No... But there has to be someone around here that does.

We could ask around and see if someone knows something more about him, or track down some of his goons and keep an eye on them?

Wai-what?

[Ruby glances down at Blake's arm and realizes what she's done. She'll then look up again.]

Oh! Uhmm... Sorry?

[Just then, Weiss comes through the door with a bag of food. How come she's always the one who has to go out and get supplies? If Ruby's the one eating all of the cookies, then Ruby should be the one who has to go buy more.]

What-

[What's everyone doing here? Why is Blake on the couch? She looks closer and drops the bag and rushes over.]

What happened!

[Sun looks up to Weiss when she enters. And he stays quiet when she rushes closer, cause this is totally on you to explain, Blake.]

It's fine. Just--

[And then she hears the door open and looks up to see Weiss come in. Ah, right, there had been somebody missing. She winces a little at the dropped bag, hoping there were nothing too breakable in there.]

It... really isn't as bad as it looks.

[And now with Ruby overdoing the bandages, that statement is actually true. But she sighs and goes back over the whole story. Starting with finding Yang at the shelter in Attleton, the fight and being brought back to the apartment.]

[Well maybe if more cookies came in a box, then they wouldn't need to go out and buy as often!

Ruby will keep quiet as Blake goes through the story again. Her brow furrows as she tries to think about what their next move should be.

They have to find Yang, they have to bring her home, but how? And what do to get her back to normal?]

[luckily it was mostly just cookies and simple things like bread. it should be fine. Weiss listens to Blake's story, mouth agape and brow furrowed. she kneels by the couch and stares at the cat faunus's injuries. as Blake talks, she studies how ruby bandaged her and lets out a small sigh.]

Well the good thing is you're okay now. And that gives us clues to what they're planning next.
