Profile 001 - [Action]

[Sofia has done this dance before - arrive at a different world with it's own rules she has to obey unless she wants this world invaded by the enemies of her employers. She observed the necklace with curious eyes, even pulling out her own translucent smartphone to compare them for a second while she was walking, not even bothering to see where she was going and talking under her breath again]

Find a place, get a job. Sounds simple enough. Tedious, but simple...

[Sofia rubbed the back of her neck and releases a frustrated sigh]

...Gah, feels like too much work. I'll do that later.

[While finding shelter and a livelihood is more important, her top priority right now is tea. She's less of a slacker once she had some of Oolong tea in her system]

Two different worlds before being dragged here and all of them had awful tea. [A sharp cringe] Should I go three-for-three?

Very interesting.

[Cherise wouldn't press further, then. She ordered a cup of tea from the waiter, but nothing more. She'd already eaten her lunch. The fact that there was an organization that habitually sent agents to scout out other worlds troubled her; why would they need to do such a thing? Were they searching for a place to invade and conquer with minimal casualties, perhaps...? No, she told herself, no sense dwelling on wild and paranoid assumptions.]

Magic is common in the world from which I originate. I wonder if you can do any spells or charms yourself?

Now that does sound handy!

[She figures Sofia is probably a soldier or peacekeeping agent. It would explain the confidentiality. Their order arrives, and she takes up her cup of tea with a sigh of relief. Is there anything better on a cold day?]

Have you found a place to live yet?
broken_trifecta: (Are you sure?)

Perhaps I can help. Is there anything in particular you require when choosing a flat?

[SIP.]

Ah, you might like Tupelo Alley then. That's where I'm staying.

[She takes another sip of her tea before setting down her cup.]

It has a swimming pool and a clubhouse. Neither are likely to be useful to me, but they're nice amenities if you care for them.

[Cherise chuckles.]

There's no harm in looking around later, if there's something else that catches your eye. But Tupelo is more than comfortable, I think you'll be pleased. All of the buildings here are quite nice.

[...Oh, but then there's that one.]

Except Binford Gardens. Complete rubbish. Rent is cheaper, true, but it's hardly worth the discount if you ask me.
