ACTION; OTA (after exiting restaurant)
It's time to say goodbye to the one she loved. She's been sulking about this for at least a month now, and she.. needed to let go. Of the idea that she'd wake up and he'd be back or she'd find out it was some nightmare like the ones she'd had before. It'd hurt for a while and now..
Now it was their anniversary. Or it would have been, if Zuko were still in this world. Which was why she was at that little restaurant in Attleton that he brought her to for their first date. She was alone this time, and while she certainly felt melancholy, lonely, she didn't feel like crying like she had when she'd first found out that he was gone. This was the last time she would allow herself to get hung up over him. It was time to let go, to move on, and to give herself some closure.
Weiss quietly enjoyed her lunch, responding to the shop owner in the small amounts of Chinese she knew from spending time with Zuko and trying so hard to learn about his culture, language.. everything. She was far from fluent, but she knew enough to order a meal just like he had the first time they'd been in here and he was trying to show off to her. When she let the spicy food touch her tongue, it didn't make her entire face light up in red from the heat like the first time she had.
She had grown a lot as a person since then and a lot of it had to do with Zuko. He'd taught her to consider a lot of things that she hadn't before, to try new things that she wouldn't have otherwise, and that not everyone who was a criminal was always a bad person. He'd done a lot of bad things, both as the Blue Spirit and has the prince of the Fire Nation, but he'd become a better person because he wanted to be a good person. And he always kept trying, even when he made mistakes.
While she finished eating, Weiss considered what she could do to remember him without.. obsessing. Without letting herself fall into a pattern of never letting him go, but still being able to make sure that she never forgot. That was one of the things she feared most here- so many people left and came back without memories, she didn't ever want to do that.
Weiss allowed a little smile to pull to her lips once she was full, staring at the empty seat across from her.
"Happy anniversary, Zuko," she whispered, quietly enough that no one else in the restaurant could hear her, "Goodbye."
With that, she stood up to pay and headed out of the building, letting Charizard out once she was on the street.
"Char, stay out of your ball today. We're going to go train the others and see if we can't figure out how to find a way for more people to stay."
With that, Weiss went to go see just what information she could get from other trainers and the Pokemon Center.
VIDEO; OTA
[ The video starts with Weiss sitting at her desk at Schnee Co.'s Genessia branch, with Charizard in the background standing by like a very well disciplined guard. The reality is he's camera shy, so he's mostly just frozen where he is, but he's keeping Weiss company outside of his ball today, so he's determinedly seeing it through. Weiss doesn't seem bothered by it and very professionally addresses the feed. ]
It's come to my attention that there are a lot of items that some of us are finding that aren't what we need. It's my pleasure to announce that Schnee Company branches will be hosting a Pokemon and Item Trading System while these creatures are here. Having been here the last time we had Pokemon, I'm well aware of proper care methods and I have plenty of experience with business. Which is why from now on, you can report what items you would like to trade and what items you need to Schnee Company.
As soon as the item comes available, we'll arrange a trade for a very small fee that you only pay if you get what you need. Considering what I heard around the Pokemon Center that there's a legend certain items can allow Pokemon to remain in any universe they choose when combined, I think 5 red bills more than reasonable for the arrangement service.
[ That's like one item at the grocery store, so she's really certain it's more than fine. Once the video recording is finished, the screen pops up with a list of current trade requests. ( OOC: I will update this list as people contact Weiss with trade items. Weiss will research items being offered before posting them so they've got some info. Just comment to offer/request items and Weiss will set the trade up! ) ]

Some of these stones remind me of Dust from our world.

[ Weiss is loving that she's basically made it a research project so she could be a know-it-all about it. ]
I have an Everstone, but I need a Fire Stone if I'm going to have any chance at keeping my Growlithe according to the nurse at the Pokemon Center. Char was already here so I doubt he's going to have any trouble staying. I need something to keep Yin, Eis, and Peanut too but I have no idea where to start with them. I only have one Everstone so far and I don't think I have enough to trade considering my Magmarizer is the only thing I'm really willing to give up right now. How have you been doing so far?

Any other page or any other notebook, and it would have been fine - but he left it open to the one page he doesn't want Weiss to know about. Because there's another thing he's been doing ever since Zuko left. Understanding that Weiss doesn't want to talk about it directly, and also understanding how hard this is for her, he's been subtly feeding people ideas with things to distract Weiss, or cheer her up - people close to Weiss, but who don't know her as well as Armin does, or who aren't as good at understanding how to deal with loss. And, with the habits he's picked up as Weiss' meticulous assistant, his ideas are all neatly listed in the notebook, with asterisks and names next to the ones he's gotten people to follow through with.
Perhaps unfortunately for him, it's a long and detailed list.

When she had come into Armin's office to ask him about some funds allocations, that was when she found out. The idea that he was being helpful wasn't the first thought that popped into her head when she saw that notebook though, instead paging through it a couple of times before stomping out into the hallway and raising her voice.
"ARMIN!"
Time to find her assistant and figure out exactly why he's keeping track of what she's been doing and information about her.

[Action] It is Time.
But things he would be okay with doing? Raising little baby pokemon! So he's borrowed a book from the library and settled outside Schnee Headquarters to read--mostly because it seems to be an area mostly free of the wild pokemon that seem to be crawling everywhere.
So here he is with his book, reading quietly. Most of it is new to him, and he finds the knowledge of growth of the little creatures fascinating. Until....]
Augh!
[My, my. That is a very bright shade of red the young apprentice is. He slammed the book shut so quickly it's a wonder he didn't damage it, eyes wide.]
[action] THE TIME IS NOW!!
Weiss peeked out the window- she was a few windows down from him, but it was close enough to see it was definitely Luke. Curiosity got the best of her and she climbed up the window, carefully hopping down out of it and past the bushes before brushing her skirt off and heading over to him. ]
Luke?

Or just instructions really. I've found this weird thing called Houndoominite? Or something? And I have no idea what it's suppose to do. So...hey. Put it up for trade is what I figured. Maybe someone could use it.

[ That's a no. ]
Houndoominite.. It probably has something to do with a Houndoom, but I'll look into it. It shouldn't take too long. I've put a couple of my people at the Pokemon Center to make sure we can get the most updated information possible.
[ She's totally going to call one of her people to put an order to find out what that is in now.. ]

And so, a week or so after Zuko's disappearance, Weiss would find a small basket of different fruit teas left outside her office, tastefully decorated with a white and red ribbon. She didn't put her name to it, but she might recognise Izanami's handwriting where she wrote Weiss' name on the little gift tag.]
[It was good to see Weiss addressing Genessia with business once again. That meant she was doing a little better, didn't it? In that case, it felt like it was okay to see how she was doing.]
Hey boss. How you holding up?
I'll let you know if I find any interesting items around. Sounds like you're pretty familiar with these...Pokémon.
[Izanami's Bulbasaur seemed fairly content and settled on her lap. She gave it a little scratch on the back of its head, still bemused at its behaviour.]
But being asked how she was holding up, Weiss wasn't sure if that was just asking how she was or checking up on her because of it. Oh well. ]
I'm doing just fine.
This isn't the first time they've appeared. I was here the first time- that's where I got Char, my Charizard. He used to be a Charmander. If you level your Pokemon, they'll eventually end up evolving.
