[Video] PSA #2: The Terror of Team Rocket

[When the feed starts, Mewtwo appears more agitated than normal, as if there is a violent storm raging behind his eyes that is just barely contained. He also seems to be someplace near the Palace of Earth Spirits from the look of his surroundings.]

Genessia, today I come with a warning. Along with the Pokemon of my world, a more... unsavory aspect has come through as well. Criminals under the organization "Team Rocket" have been sighted throughout the cities. Their goal is a simple one; to use the power of Pokemon to further their own greed. To this end, they are willing to do anything and excel in subterfuge and distraction to steal the Pokemon of other trainers, and use intimidation and fear to command obedience, with their ultimate goal being global domination.

They are dangerous individuals and are not to be engaged if you have any doubt of your abilities as a trainer. Suffice it to say I know of their methods through... first hand experience.

[He waves a hand, as a man clad in black clothing, white gloves and boots, with a crimson R on his chest comes into view, bound with telekinetic restraints.]

This is what to look for, report any sightings to an official in Fayren who will relay the information to myself. Again, do not engage them if you doubt even for a moment your ability as a trainer.

Well...I already found two. Or they found me. They weren't...really that hard to beat and they seem kinda...stupid. One stepped on the trigger for a pack of explosives they put behind them.

Are they really that dangerous?

[His face falls slightly with the urge to facepalm. If Jesse and James are here...]

Some are more dangerous than others. However, those sent after targets with particularly strong Pokemon are just as dangerous as their targets, if not moreso.

So...expect getting stronger pokemon means getting stronger rockets to fight?

Let's hope they're strong and not just the pokemon. Might be good to round them up by breaking their legs. [Yang you're not Nora.]

That would be highly inadvisable. Just as they are skilled in stealing Pokemon, they are highly adept at rendering their targets' trainers incapacitated as well. They are not above kidnapping, extortion, or harming humans to get what they desire.

I am the most familiar with their methods, and uniquely suited to ending their threat. As such, I ask that all information be given to me, and that any who wish to combat them follow my lead. I will not deny any seeking to stop them, however, you cannot simply charge in and hope for the best.

Well, I've got skills at being a huntress (in training), so I don't think they could do much to me from what I've seen. Unless they have aura too, then maybe they could be a challenge.

Even then, I wouldn't just go at them like that. Arrogance like that is an easy way to get killed.

Considering the Pokemon that Rockets seem to favor, should they be turned on human physiology, death would be a mercy.

[Terra has been wondering who they were.]

Excuse me, One of them fought with me. I won but I wasn't sure who they were at the time. Is there anyway to stop them?

[She's grown rather attached to her pokemon.]

Just reporting any and all sightings to me with relevant information about the encounter. I have a personal stake in this and would like to personally deliver whatever punishment they require.

They're very confident in people willing to go along with just having their pokemon taken should they lose a duel. What's simply stopping one from, say, knocking out these dangerous gang members?

A member of Team Rocket is never unarmed. They carry all manner of devices designed to incapacitate both human and Pokemon. From force-field generators, to high voltage tazers, to adhesives that redirect kinetic energy backward. And, should those fail, they are not above ordering their Pokemon to attack humans either.

I see. They sound very dangerous.

Should I run across any, I shall see about incapacitating them immediately, and bringing them in to be dealt with by the appropriate authorities.

Local aw enforcement isn't in their pocket, correct?

That is easier said than done. They are a resourceful bunch. As for the local law enforcement, I cannot say for sure. In my world, there are operatives in every branch of law enforcement, feeding them information. It is difficult to say if they have had the time or resources to do the same here.

All I know for certain is that myself and my allies can be trusted against them. I have very personal history with them, and a vested interest in bringing their organization to its knees.

Do they possess any supernatural abilities of their own?

[He's aware just how dangerous someone clever and resourceful could be, even against insurmountable odds. But from what he heard, Team Rocket lacked that particular brand of tenacity.]

Their actions could bring a great deal of harm to others. If I may be so bold, please consider me an ally in this regard.

They do not, no, however they have large fortunes backing them, allowing them to procure equipment that would make them just as dangerous.

I will not turn away those who wish to help.

Where I'm from, such equipment is quite common.

If I run into any, I'll let you know straight away.

They steal other people's Pokemon?

[One could hear a bit of minor rage in her voice.]

I won't let that happen, even if I have to use my own power.

I would advise against seeking them out, until I find their base of operations. I am attempting to coordinate the search personally, as I have very... intimate history with this organization.

...You said you were a Pokemon, too, didn't you? I think I can see why you would have such a history with them...

I wasn't planning to seek them out...not without help, anyway. I do have a...health issue, after all.

...Among Pokemon there are those who reach a level of power that they become regarded as legends. Some are tied to the mythology of the regions they call home, with ancient civilizations revering them as gods. For better or worse, I have attained that level and thus I am a target for their power grab.

[Which is true... but omits how he got to that level of power.]

Hmm...that's interesting. If you're that powerful, then surely you can defend yourself from them. And I would be willing to help if you ever need it.

I would appreciate any and all help in this matter.

They sound very dangerous. What are you going to do with him?

I will wipe his memory, release his Pokemon, confiscate his belongings and deliver him to a hospital where he can decide for himself how to relive his life.

...Better than he deserves.

Sounds fair.

[ Not really, but better than what other people have said they'd do to bad people. At least this way they aren't being tortured. ]

What if that's just in his nature?

I assure you, after my psychic conditioning, he will be physically incapable of engaging in such activity again.
